The spot is a real gem! The lake is pretty and not overly crowded. The property itself is top notch. Having a restroom on site was a special treat.

A quiet seaside neighborhood! The location was easy to find and the site very well marked so we knew exactly where to go. Steve is an excellent host and very accommodating. He made sure we could easily get down to the beach and we had a lovely walk. 2 nights was a perfect for us to pal around the Tacoma area.

We loved our weekend getaway! What a beautiful place. Lovely riverfront campsite with well maintained grounds. Good WiFi. We had such a good time. Even though the weather wasn’t super warm, we still splashed around in the river and enjoyed hammock time! Highly recommend!

We chose this spot for our very first camping trip with our 1955 trailer - and it was beautiful! Private (though we had family at the next door spot - which worked perfectly!). Loved all the cute seating spots the owner set up throughout the property. The river was fabulous and we even took out the tubes (a bit cold on a 70 degree day, but so much fun!). 🤩

Our family had a great fall weekend at the lake! Couldn’t have asked for a better site in terms of cleanliness and conveniences. Loved having full hook-ups for our trailer but also a perfect little bathroom too. Kids spent hours in the kayaks (don’t forget your life jackets if you plan to use them) and peddle boat. Even caught a BIG fish right off the dock.
Evenings were blissfully quiet but there was quite a bit of traffic at the adjacent boat launch throughout the day. More of a fun parade of boaters than anything that disturbing.
Highly recommend going the 2 miles to NW Trek for wildlife viewing. Such a cool park!
Overall it was a great stay and Joel was the ideal site host. Hope to be back!

Steve, the host, was very gracious. We made a late reservation and the had to cancel the next day due to air quality fears. Stave was nice enough to refund our payment less the Hipcamp fees. We very much appreciate that. Looks like a lovely site. Will try again another time.

The view and sounds of the river on this campsite were even better than we expected! It was clean, well-manicured and softly lit at night if you turn on the string lights above the site. It is pretty private, with just one set of neighbors who were also quiet. The river access is tricky from this site, and only for those who are very able to navigate a steep climb.

Wonderful place with great sites that have all services available. Great family game area, pool table in the beautiful lobby and a hot tub that has great views of the Hood Canal. Our dog and I found a well established low impact trail that went quite a distance out into the woods with benches and a picnic table.

RV Site #1 and Tahoya River Lodge was great. The site was large, well landscaped and immaculately maintained. Being able to just relax while watching the river was great.
Also it was a quick drive up to Silverdale or Poulsbo so the ability to do day trips from this spot was nice.
