Weekend Trip to Happy Frog Springs

Lovely hip camp! The site was super clean with wood, fire pit, picnic table and wonderful view of the peaceful pond. My 7 year old son loved the pond and walking the property. Great location for hiking nearby mountains and deception pass. Awesome hosts and sweet pup to greet us. We will definitely be back to explore more hiking in the area.

Second stay in less than a year - great quiet, uncrowded basecamp location for exploring the Skagit valley - Mount Vernon, Anacortes, Whidbey Island, Deception Pass, Bellingham, etc. Excellent facilities - awesome views of Mt Baker - great hosts. Highly recommended!

1 night at Frog Pond Cottage

This cabin was well situated as a base camp for our MTB adventures in the area. It was a quiet neighborhood and the dogs had a great time. Close to town so we could get food when we didn’t want to cook but we had everything there we needed for when we felt like staying in. We will definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to Wild Meadow Hideaway

We enjoyed camping on Randall's land. The spot was nicely tucked back from the rest of the property with glimpses of the neighboring farm animals. Great location on Whidbey Island. Definitely would stay there again, if in the area.

Weekend Trip to Cedar+Fern

This was an amazing spot!! It has every amenity you could ever want or need including a fire pit, covered picnic bench, hammock, and a great space to pitch a tent. The toilet and dish washing station was also super convenient and a very nice touch. The river was definitely the best part. It was easy to access and you could hear it from each camp site which was very soothing. There is also a really cool general store about 3-5 minutes away which was super convenient for firewood, drinks, etc. I would 100% recommend staying here.

Quite easy to find, the tent sites are quite peaceful. The sound of the river flowing through the trees is extremely relaxing. 100% recommend the eggs. They're huge and delicious. Definitely a place I'd return to!

Weekend Trip to Frog Pond Cottage

This was a fun and cozy location. I doubt it would really comfortably sleep more than six. We had five people and had plenty of room. It’s a unique and fun property close to Olympic National Park. We would return for longer once the shower is up and running. (Looks like it’s in progress!) We got a little lost arriving which was completely our fault, and Nick was quick to respond and help us out.

We're two miles from restaurants, hardware stores and a grocery store in Port Hadlock. Kragnes Family Farm Mt Baker Camp

Our 28 acres are located in between maple falls and glacier, Wa, directly on Mt Baker Hwy on the way to Beautiful Mt Baker. Ben and I run a chemical free farm, on which we raise 7 and 1/2 acres of veggie and flower. 15 acres of pastureland on which we raise pasture raised chicken, as well as biannual lamb and beef. The remainder of our land is breathtaking pacific northwest forest that is boarded by the Bay to Baker trail. Our campsites range between walk in wooded sites, and car camping sites that are open field sites next to the tree line. We provide wagons in our cart corral area to make it more convenient for the very short walk in. ( no more then a 200 foot walk in) We have a beautiful cedar grove to enjoy for lounging and picnics. The Bay to Baker trail borders our property, so it is just steps away and includes a 45 min round walk to a quaint little waterfall (maple falls). As well as a nature loop trail. You can also walk the other direction on the trail over a boardwalk and up to the Nooksack river. This direction walks along the back of the farm and allows you to see the veggie fields from a distance. There is a conservation area, just a quarter mile drive down the road. With access to the Nooksack river, that includes several nice swimming spots and a couple nice walking trials. Silver Lake is just 3.8 miles away. It has a great recreation area, fun for the whole family. Just a heads up , you will probably lose service on your drive up here. But you will get service back when you are here. We suggest putting the map in your phone before you leave. Google maps will take you just past the farm, and apple maps will stop you too soon. So you are looking for the large kragnes family farms sign in the driveway. pull in and follo the camping signs to the back.

Big Valley Camp

Come with your RV and camp on my property. It is a rural/farm area but very close to the cute town of Poulsbo. Relax with a pastureland view of big valley. Water and electricity are available (but no sewage). Big Valley is a popular biking area and there are some really nice hiking trails nearby. Killer frisbee golf course across the street. New for 2024 is a gazebo with outdoor furniture and a propane fireplace. And a new picnic table located adjacent to the RV pad. In 2023 I installed a mesh WiFi system that gets good coverage at the site. Kick back and watch a movie on your laptop. Connection information is on the electric outlet adjacent to the site. Chuckanut Hills Farm & Camp

Retreat to relax at Chuckanut Hills Farm and Campground, a 20-acre energy-regenerative, off-grid family farm nestled at the foot of Anderson Mountain and surrounded by thousands of acres of forest. 30 minutes south of Bellingham in the Chuckanut Mountains, the only finger of the Cascade Mountain Range that reaches all the way to the Salish Sea. This wooded forest is part of the Puget Lowland Forest Eco-Region. These hills were the native home of the Saquantch people, a Salish coast tribe that fished and hunted the mountains surrounding Lake Whatcom. They lived in long lodge homes and were later pushed out by the invading Lummi Tribe. The Lummi Tribe was later pushed out by Western logging companies, and the entire mountainous region was heavily logged for a number of years. Where our farm now rests was once the second of many logging camps built by Ed English, and he cut our gravel farm road in 1900; a railroad ran through the lower part of our property, taking logs from Lake Whatcom down to the little boom town of Seattle. Our intention while being caretakers of this ancestral land is to restore native plants, raise heirloom produce and heritage animals, and provide a restful nature paradise for people looking to spend time in the outdoors.

Seattle is 1.5 hours south and Vancouver is 1 hour north. Welcome to Cedar Star Ranch! A destination designed for large groups and private events. We look forward to hosting you soon. The CAMPGROUND at Cedar Star Ranch is located in a private and heavily forested area of the property. Currently, the grounds are available to rent individually or in its entirety. The campground includes two covered 12’x20’ shelters, one 8'x16' cabin, and three tent sites. Each site has a fire pit, picnic tables, room for additional tents, and parking as well. Surrounding the sites is a playground, covered community cooking/dining with multiple BBQs and smoker, a pond, open fields, and a quaint dog park. All amenities are easily accessible by the road that loops through the campground. This listing is for the CAMPGROUND ONLY. The property has other homes available for rent including a large home (sleeps 16), a smaller home (sleeps 4), and an indoor event venue. Additional accommodations and access may be possible as well.
