Such a cute place! Great view, amenities were as advertised, and Jacob was super helpful. The animals were also very friendly.

Highlights
We enjoyed a late-Nov stay with our dog. It was cold, sunny (~8hrs) and crisp. The best:
- Lovely short trails right around the property - private, accessible & beautiful. Endless wildlife photo opportunities. Saw 3+ nesting eagles in trees on/around property. Loved the binoculars provided.
- Said hello to the cows (very photogenic) + pigs (hollered at us to feed them). A pig escaped but it was friendly and host was responsive.
- Close enough to town and private enough to escape it all.
Feedback
I think important additional info should be included in the listing, so visitors know what to expect before they book, pack, get day-of instructions/rules, arrive, etc. Luckily none of these affected our trip too much because we over-prepared:
- Toilet is porta-potty outside the building (clean but spiders!)
- No electricity or indoor heat, 2 large batteries supply limited amt. of power. We (sparingly) used ~50% of 1 battery for 2-night stay.
- Pictured kitchen equipment (other than outdoor propane camp grill) not available in fall/winter. We ended up going out to eat.
- Parking is 100-200ft away from building. Firepit 50-100ft away. No exterior lighting.
- Late Nov was cold, dark and wet on the property (which we knew) but due to the above, bring lots of warm clothes, floor coverings, rugs, and battery-powered lighting!
I'll reiterate that we had a fantastic stay. I know the host is working on various projects on the site, so maybe we’ll be back in warmer weather!

We had a delightful stay and Jake and family went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable during our cold and rainy adventure. My kiddo loved the animals, swings, and zipline and the cabin was a lovely refuge. We hope to be back!

We had such a lovely time on Jacob’s property. It felt remote and private, while being a short drive into town. Our pup was a little too interested in the farm animals so we did keep her on leash, but she had a great time sniffing around on a long lead. Jacob was so friendly, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend for an upgraded camping experience.

I loved staying at the bungalow! It was the perfect rainy PNW weekend. The property is beautiful and quiet, the cows and pigs were adorable! Very close to the beach and the view of the lake waa amazing. So many more amenities than I was expecting and if it was sunnier I would have taken advantage :) The bungalow was very clean and had everything I needed for the night. I hope to return in the summer!

Jacob’s space is absolutely beautiful. I had the most peaceful evening hanging out with the pigs and cows as the sun set. The view is incredible, and Jacob is a gracious host! I will be back!

This Hipcamp was great for letting my dog off leash, or for spreading out with a larger group if you have one. The Highland cows were honestly the highlight of the experience and I'm pretty sure Moo-tilda and I are best friends now. The cabin itself was clean and tidy and the hosts friendly. The view from the cabin was lovely. Easy walking distance to the beach - just beware of locals with their off-leash dogs. Not all are friendly.

We only stopped for one night on our way from Seattle to Orcas, but we'd love to come back and spend more time! Many thanks to Jacob for his flexibility around our check-in time (we got there much later than planned).

What a beautiful, peaceful getaway.
Absolutely stunning sunsets and sunrises! Within walking distance from the beach, as well as extensive fields for the dogs to run and play. The bungalow is absolutely charming and the bed is so comfortable! It was clean, and well presented. Great outdoor cooking area with a refrigerator and multiple barbecues. Definitely a place I will be back to, 10 out of 10 recommend

We loved camping on the farm. It had loads of activities that we weren't expecting, a cool outdoor kitchen that we set up our camp stove (although there were plenty of BBQs to use) and the most amazing views. My favorite things were the axe throwing and baby pigs and my daughter's favorite was the zipline. Our dog loved roaming around unleashed and smelling all the things. 10/10 would recommend 🌟

We arrived at Jake's Hipcamp site and it was vast (the dogs ran free to their heart's content) and perfect for a family getaway. I loved that it was so private and the views were fantastic. The bungalow was clean and the bed that slept two people was comfy and cozy. There were multiple power station batteries that powered lights and we were able to charge our phones. There was an outdoor kitchen setup with lights as well with a refrigerator and barbecue grill.
My son appreciated the hammocks, ziplines, swings and etc.
We got to meet with Jake and had a chat about his plans for the place, he really cares for his property and the kind of experiences he is envisioning sounds exciting.
Trips with dogs were always stressful for us. Our dogs had a traumatic past with cars so they hate car trips. They had so much fun on Whidbey Island and at Jake's site that they willingly jump in and out of cars now.
We will definitely be back!

We had a great time a fuzzy farms. The property is clean and there is attention to detail. Jacob was kind and welcoming giving us a tour. I highly recommend you stay for the beautiful view and some axe throwing!

The views out the front patio and from bed are stunning of the ocean and mountains! We loved waking up and reading with this view. 2 adults can comfortably stay in the queen bed, with plenty of space outside for a tent if more are staying! This was a nice spot to stay in Oak Harbor on our way back from Mt. Baker. Thanks Jacob!

Our family (2 adults and a 2 year old) recently loved our stay at the Fuzzy Farm! The little cabin was clean and comfortable, there was a saucer swing and ball pit our daughter loved playing in and the view was amazing! The host, Jacob, was communicative and offered great suggestions of places to check out and eat.

Jake was a great host, the bungalow was very cozy and private. More amenities than we were expecting! We saw bald eagles, owls and deer. We will be back next time we are on Whidbey Island!

This is a hidden gem!! Loved each minute of our stay! Host was very communicative and available, the place was great, fire pit was perfection and the view was incredible! Plus having 2 bald eagles just flying around made 4th of July even better and our toddler loved the chickens! Will be back, 100%!!

I loved being able to hang out on the deck or swinging in the hammock. There was a nice outdoor kitchen that was nice and once it’s completely finished will be excellent.

Absolutely loved the space and quiet! The dogs had a blast and the views are to die for. Listening to the owls and ocean at night was amazing. This is a hidden gem!

This was my favorite place I’ve stayed at! The hosts were so kind, and showed me all around the property when I first got there. I have a very fear reactive dog, and he got to be off leash (which I can never do while camping for obvious reasons) and enjoy his time on the back patio. Such a great experience, my partner and I are coming back 2 weeks from now!

Great little camp cabin on Whidbey Island on large open area overlooking ocean and small sawn lake. Cabin new with great windows and clean, just what you need. Many places to hike around including easy access to beach and state park. Short <10 min drive from Oak Harbor for whatever you need - close to everything but nice private space.
