Our property presides behind another 40acres from the paved road. If you like fly fishing we are about 1mile from Rocky Ford Creek in Grant County WA. We do live on the property but currently do not have a ton of infrastructure. It's basically undeveloped. We do have water available if you run out but this is a place that you should prepare to pack in and pack out everything. Learn more about this land: This is basically a wide open sagebrush grass pasture land my family is homesteading. We've got very basic accommodations. Camping is anywhere you want as long as you leave no trace. Rocky Ford creek fishing less than a mile away. The George Amphitheatre less than 45 min away. (Designated driver to and from concerts can be prearranged for an additional charge) . Plus countless lakes around us full of fish, swimming, and fun. There is a barbed wire fence defining our property boundaries There's cattle to the north of us as well. Be prepared for the sounds of cattle mooing as you watch the sunset from your camp.

Whistlin Pines was awesome! Tara is so kind and welcoming. Our friend and I booked campsites that were a bit far from each other and she remedied that and we had the perfect setup. Tara also checked in with us midway to make sure that the large group in the cabins weren't being too rowdy/loud for us at night (they weren't!) which was appreciated. The area itself is super gorgeous and private. Way way better than the state campground. So much room to explore. We loved the beach, and the kids loved paddleboarding. The lake is clean and safe. Even as a lifelong Washingtonian, I was surprised at the amount of wildlife there. Dragonflies, birds, ducks, and many more. So lovely. We will be back!

The view was beautiful! The propane fire place was nice to roast marshmallows, it was quiet and peaceful. It was a perfect get away for my daughter, my dog, and our camper! Plus we got cookies and stickers!!!!!!😍 It’s not a secluded spot, so it was a nice practice spot for new campers!

My girlfriend and I had the most relaxing and wonderful stay at Whistlin' Pines Ranch. The host is lovely, the land is enchanting, the wildlife is thriving, the lake is perfect for boating and we took a canoe all around it. There are basic hot showers available for use which was a lovely surprise. The campfire pits are nice and built up with rocks from the land. The weather was perfect. The stars were so numerous and bright. On our way out we enjoyed hiking a nearby trail and observing the whole area from above. I give it 10 stars, we will be back as soon as possible.

Sasquatch Vista lived up to its name - gorgeous views and total tranquility! We loved watching sunset and sunrise from the Adirondack chairs overlooking the valley. The host left us two kitchen sink cookies, which my partner devoured instantly (he claims they were amazing - I wouldn’t know). It was the perfect place to unwind and take in the beauty of the area. Would absolutely stay again!

Great spot with a stunning view especially during sunset. The space was private though not completely isolated. The hosts were communicative and thoughtful by leaving us a few sweet treats and leftover propane. Overall, this spot is a great find.

Amazing view! Nice set up with chairs, propane fire pit, power for our tent AC and electric cooler, and enough room to park flat so our roof top tent was flat. The site is fairly close to the house but the owners were friendly and courteous and we felt enough privacy throughout our trip. Overall, we loved our stay and would stay again.

Our stay at site #1 (Sunset View) was amazing! The drive up was a bit rougher than we had anticipated, but very doable in our Ram Nova van. The views were amazing, the silence was wonderful, and Chris and Jen are generous, helpful, and communicative hosts. We would definitely recommend, and hope to be back soon!

The Sasquatch Vista was phenomenal. The views were breath taking and it was wonderfully secluded yet still within 20 to 30 mins to Chelan as well as being close to the river park. Chris and Jennifer were wonderful hosts, Chris even making sure we were settled in as well as giving tips for parking in chelan and other activities in the area. Highly recomend this spot and definitely see myself returning here!

Exquisitely beautiful area formed by melting glaciers forming the "Alta Coulee". The campground is situated at the South end of Alta Lake, opened in 1946 and operated by my Grandparents until 1980, when my father decided to continue operations adding Outfitting and Guide services into the Pasayten and Sawtooth Wilderness areas. Covid put a halt on business for a few years, but we are back and making some gradual upgrades and changes to offer camping and horseback riding experiences again! The lake is 220 acres known to Anglers near and far. Plenty of room for the sunseekers wanting to play in the water on paddle boards, kayaks, jet skis, and water skiing. An 18-hole Golf Course resides at the North end of the lake and white water rafting just a few miles down the hill on the Methow River. Must book horseback riding in advance. We offer free Wi fi to guests near the office only.

This property is a great camp for enjoying everything that Eastern Washington outdoors has to offer. The Columbia river is in the valley below which provides fishing and watersports. The property is adjacent to thousands of acres of State and federal land which are free to explore. Winter tends to bring significant snowfall which makes this a great destination for winter sports as well. The property sits on top of a mountain plateau known as Harmony Heights. The site is about a 20 minute drive to Brewster or Pateros and about 40 minutes to Lake Chelan. This is an fairly large site and will accommodate two RV's as well as plenty of area for tent camping. There is plenty of good spots to play with dogs without any conflicts. Despite the existence of year round residences and cabins this area is still very wild so you have a chance of an encounter with any critter that is native to the forests and prairies of North Central Washington. This includes but is not limited to the occasional bull snake, rattle snake, badger, black bear, mule deer, whitetail deer, moose, coyote, wolf, mountain lion, bobcat, as well as all kinds of birds including blue birds, hawks, owls, turkey, chukar, ravens, Hungarian partridge, quail, and forest grouse. Bring a field guide you will be happy you did.
