This is an 11 acre mountain, and every campsite is designed to give an incredible View of Lake Roosevelt From the property, you could see the backside of the dam on the lake side. The inlet is called Eden Harbor. There’s lake access by foot or a short drive to the other side of the harbor. It’s a great place to go fishing get some sun and relax. Campsite is located close to the town. Where you can buy groceries, ice, get a bite to eat at a restaurant or any other camping essentials you need. It’s also near two different boat ramps for easy boat access. We are pet friendly with rules that need to be followed as a pet owner. You take full responsibility for your own pets. There are different wild animals around like dear, turkeys, coyotes, etc. Each campsite is set up for groups, 6 people or more depending on the sites. You are responsible or any damage to you, your group and your belongings. There are cameras on the property, they are there for safety and security purposes to ensure a pleasant experience for all guests.

Philville is 3.85 miles from US 97 on state highway 153. Near Pateros wa., the property is ten acres and includes 3 acres of tent sites, 3 rv hookups and 3 cabin rentals. All sites are riverfront and the adjoining property is a state fishing access and boat launch used by rafters and fishermen. The site is at the very end of the popular "Black canyon" section of the Methow river. Rafting and fishing guides use this property regularly. There is ample space for boat and trailer parking. There is a winery in walking distance that offers a beautiful oudoor tasting experience. Winter opportunities include cross-country skiing and snowmobiling. Nearby the recreational opportunities abound. Alta Lake is a popular tourist area only 2 miles away. 4 miles away is Lake Pateros - home to many popular species of gamefish with massive runs of salmon passing eagerly anticipated each year in summer. Located 9 miles off of the nearest highway, the last 4 miles of county maintained gravel road, makes this far off of the beaten path. 3 bell disc golf course on site! Community picnic table with a view of the bay. Wildlife frequently visits and grazes on and nearby the property. Campsite have water and power hook-ups. No bathroom! Septic dump may be available with prior permission for an extra fee. No internet service available. Some cellular service may provide a little signal, but do not count on it. Between two boat launches, a 20 mile drive North or South, both 9 river miles away by boat. Fort Spokane or Two Rivers to the South with a marina, dock fuel, convenience store, Chuck Wagon and Fort Spokane Restaurant's. To the North is Hunters boat launch, Grocery, Cafe, and Bar and Grill. The Bar and Grill has live music most summer weekends. This is a pretty spectacular spot with awesome views of the dam and Lake Roosevelt. We were there for 3 nights, my girlfriend and our three dogs to relax and really take advantage of being on Eden Harbor and maximizing use of the water on our SUPs. I could best describe this spot as "rustic glamping". Meaning it's best if you come equipped with all the practical car camping things: power cords with 3 prongs, your own means of shade, etc. We did so it was quite the comfortable stay. Bring LOTS of water as there is no access to any. Access to the water and beach below is ok, meaning there is a trail down but anyone with mobility issues would have problems. Eden Harbor is amazing and absolutely great for swimming. There is a public sandy beach just across the harbor you can paddle to, and there are lots of rock formations you can jump off into the clear waters. We would definitely come back here.

Our particular spot was perfect for us. We have a 40' toyhauler and a 25' cab and chassis truck. The spot had enough for that plus our jeep and then some. The views are great. The sound of the river is perfect. The full hook ups are right next to the site.

Just had a great stay at Philville! Stayed in Osprey's Perch that had the best view for morning coffee, plus can't beat full hook-ups with a travel trailer. The walk to the river is easy and there's a great beach and swimming hole. Phil is a very accomodating host, super friendly and knowledgeable about the area and his little puppers are so cute! Definitely will stay again soon!

We were super happy to have found Native Pines! We had been boondocking our way through Washington but, when temps approached 100F, we decided we needed some A/C and a breather. While all the sites are 30amp only, it was still sufficient for keeping our big rig cool enough, and we were happy to have sewer to be able to do some laundry. The sites are nestled into a pocket in the woods behind (but out of site of) a motel. Our 44' fifth wheel had plenty of room to maneuver within the property as well as fit into one of the back-in sites. It was peaceful and within a 7 minute drive to a beautiful, riverfront park (Roosevelt National Rec Area on the Columbia River) where we did some paddleboarding. And, you can't beat the rate of $35! Thank you John and Michelle!

Gorgeous spot on the Methow River. Brought our dog and didn’t hear a single firework which we loved. Phil is a nice host and we would definitely stay here again. Gravel spot for RV (much more stable with “legos” under feet)with water and electric. Must pack out your garbage. Access to sandy/rocky beach which was lovely to hangout in in our camp chairs while our dog splashed around.

We camped at Native Pines for two nights over the 4th of July, and even then it was peaceful and quiet. We prefer to stay in campgrounds with few sites for that very reason. All the camp sites, arranged in a circle, were visible to us, but many of the other guests were gone during the day, returning in the evening. We had a great time there.

Whistlin Pines was awesome! Tara is so kind and welcoming. Our friend and I booked campsites that were a bit far from each other and she remedied that and we had the perfect setup. Tara also checked in with us midway to make sure that the large group in the cabins weren't being too rowdy/loud for us at night (they weren't!) which was appreciated. The area itself is super gorgeous and private. Way way better than the state campground. So much room to explore. We loved the beach, and the kids loved paddleboarding. The lake is clean and safe. Even as a lifelong Washingtonian, I was surprised at the amount of wildlife there. Dragonflies, birds, ducks, and many more. So lovely. We will be back!
