Exquisitely beautiful area formed by melting glaciers forming the "Alta Coulee". The Coulee can be experienced by hiking, horseback, and mountain bike, user fee applies. The campground is situated at the South end of Alta Lake, opened in 1946 and operated by my Grandparents until 1980 when my father decided to continue operation, adding Outfitting and Guide services into the Pasayten and Sawtooth Wilderness areas. Covid put a halt on business operations and this year is the first since 2019 that we are offering camping again. The lake is 220 acres known to Anglers near and far. Plenty of room for the sunseekers wanting to play in the water on paddle boards, kayaks, jet skis, and water skiing. An 18-hole Golf Course resides at the North end of the lake and white water rafting just a few miles down the hill on the Methow River. Horse camping with trail riding is available at the Whistlin' Pine Ranch Resort this year, dry camping and portable pen or highline options only.

My house sits on an acre and 1/2 of property and we have 1/2 of the property not being used! Located right across from the Columbia River, just a mile or so from the town itself. You will be 30 minutes from Chelan and 30 mins in the opposite direction to Omak! Central location that's 30 mins to the casino and you can get all that you need from Walmart, which is only 30 mins in either direction.
You will love this place, so come and enjoy some peace and nature!

We don't have much but we're working hard to be self sustainable.Learn more about this land:This is basically a wide open sagebrush grass pasture land my family is homesteading. We've got very basic accommodations. Camping is anywhere you want as long as you leave no trace (ish). Rocky Ford creek fishing less than a mile away. The George Amphitheatre less than 45 min away. (Designated driver to and from concerts can be prearranged for an additional charge) . Plus countless lakes around us full of fish, swimming, and fun.
We do have an electric fence on property. It really hurts. Don't touch it.
