This is a gorgeous park-like RV campground situated between the trees of the arboretum. No tents, please. Also we have NO public restrooms. Beautiful view of the mountains and forests here in western Washington. We are close to Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier and several lakes. There are walking trails all around the site. The 12 acre campground is located on a 136 acre property that is an active Christmas tree farm. Trails continue throughout the tree farm. Many trails have a view of the Tilton River, which can be reached via a challenging 3/4 mile trail. Sites are on 10 acres planted with many different species of trees that are about 30 years old. Giant Redwoods, Cedars, and Maples are just a few of the varieties present. Part of the farm is still a working Christmas tree farm. The trails are wide and grassy. The old logging road that we use as a trail to the river has an elevation change of about 500 feet, the trail can be quite challenging. Bear Creek empties into the Tilton river at the end of the trail. There is an ART GALLERY where you can learn to pound flowers, see the host's artwork and get a cup of coffee! This RV spot is equipped with a 20, 30 and 50 amp receptacle, with full access to water and septic. The daily rate is for full hookup for your trailer or RV; charging your electric vehicle is prohibited. You can find two EV charging stations in town at the 76 Gas Station. You will also have access to free wi-fi. As there are NO bathroom facilities on the property, NO TENT camping is allowed. We have hidden some fun painted rocks for your kids to find, but please be courteous and leave some behind for other kids as well! Rocks and any decor that are in the garden area are not for taking. This RV spot is located just minutes from town, where you can enjoy unique restaurants, breweries, and shopping. There are numerous year-round recreational activities including hiking, boating, biking, skiing, snowshoeing, hunting, and fishing. This was a lovely place to camp with an incredible view! Level parking for our 25 foot trailer. There is some slight highway 101 noise, but nothing that would keep us from returning. It was a misty weekend, so we hunkered in most of the time. The clouds amongst the trees made for a beautiful view. We enjoyed going into the very small town to the Tipsy Whale for nice cider and beers. Mostly, we toured around and enjoyed the sea lions, seals, and many birds.

This place is glamping at its absolute best. It has everything you need and more, yet you feel at one with nature. My wife and I stayed for one night with the idea of shutting away from technology for the weekend and boy did it deliver. We ended up enjoying the view and just talking all night while listening to the rain. If you need a break from the real world, this is 100% the place to go. A huge thank you to the owner.

This place is awesome! Dawson has done an amazing job with creating the space. It has everything you could need! You can really tell a lot of thought has gone into the place and a lot of work has been involved. We had the best time and were so cozy together. We were lucky to have rain over night and it was so peaceful listening to the rain on the roof as we fell asleep. The directions provided made it very easy to find and a couple of wagons and a lantern are available to help you get your things out to the cabin. As we came in November, we didn’t get the opportunity to use the outdoor space. But we still braved using the shower and it’s worth it, so toasty and incredible views! Inside is cozy and comfortable. The kitchenette has everything you could need. That bed though! So comfy, as someone who deals with chronic pain, I really appreciate how comfortable the bed is! It was really nice to get off grid a little and put our phones away for the night. We had such a good time we are definitely looking to come back again next year in the summer hopefully! If you get the chance to stay here, do it!

We had a really nice time. The space was bigger inside than I had expected. USB-ready outlets were handy, and the little plug-in faux wood stove kept us warm and created a nice ambiance. My favorite thing about the structure is the large triangular window providing a beautiful view into the forest understory out back. Thank you!
