This property is supposedly one of the first homesteads in Jordan Road. This information is based on stories from some old timers my husband had spoken to in the past when he bought this property in 2002. The owner back in the old days sold off parcels and parcels of lands back then. The property is all fenced in, a place where your fur buddy can run free so you don't have to worry of the baby getting lost! Hopefully you'll get a visit from a deer and hear the hooting of the owl. :) You are welcome to check out our goats too if you want (they're in their enclosed space). The surroundings are peaceful and private, you will enjoy exploring the trails all around the 9 acres out of 12 we are sharing. Stroll down the hill to listen to the sounds of the creek and fish ladder. Our campground cabins are about 4.9 miles from the 'Granite Falls Fish Ladder'. Visit this beauty at Mountain Loop Highway if you fancy a little hike. Drive around 7 miles to the 'Lime Kiln Trailhead. The trail is full of amazing views and history. Our place is only about 45 minutes from Seattle. Why not pack your tent and sleeping bags then drive here after work, then leave in the morning. Leave your worries behind.. enjoy nature.

Nestled near Arlington, our 75-acre property spans both new and old forest, featuring a salmon-filled creek and a vibrant beaver pond—all set against the dramatic backdrop of a 1,200-foot sheer cliff crowned with old-growth trees. Since its purchase in 1958 as a family retreat, this land has grown into much more than a getaway. It has become a place for relaxation, adventure, and connection with nature—a private forest for family and friends to enjoy. Over the years, the family has adopted forest stewardship and sustainable timber harvesting practices, while also developing campsites, trails, hosting rock concerts, and even producing wine. What began as a simple escape has evolved into something extraordinary: a tree farm that successfully balances nearly every goal a forest landowner could imagine—timber production, wildlife habitat, natural beauty, recreation, and forest resilience. Valhalla embodies all of this with a harmony so seamless, it feels effortless.

Welcome to Olympic Wanderer! This fairy-tale nature retreat creekside cabin will wow you with its stellar location, lush grounds, hot-tub, and stylish interior. The cabin is nestled in a forested community next the hood canal, famous for its rich waters and shellfish harvesting. This is the perfect base for your adventures on the Olympic Peninsula, and is a great central location close to endless amazing hiking trails, including Olympic NP and multiple state parks less than 10 minutes away. The highlight of the cabin is the log bridge across the creek! You will feel like you are on an amazing hiking trail or in a fairytale on the rainforest-like grounds with a babbling brook or rushing creek running through it depending on how much rain we have had. Our property is directly across the street from access to the national forest service roads with miles of roads and trails. PLEASE NOTE BEFORE BOOKING: The cabin is older and rustic, and we are renovating it over time. There is a very steep/narrow staircase that excesses the second floor, and the twin bed artea is part of the lofty and is not an enclosed bedroom. The living space and kitchen are open concept, and there is seating for 4 at the dining room table and 2 countertop barstools as well. The adorable farmhouse style kitchen has everything you need to cook meals during your stay, including all cooking essentials and basic spices. We also have pancake mix and quick oats for our guests in case you forgot to bring your own breakfast. If you are lucky enough to stay in late summer, you can walk across the street to pick wild blackberries. The living room has a large TV and a nice selection of DVDs to choose from. We also have Starlink for both internet and streaming services. Cell service can be hit or miss depending on provider. The bathroom is on the lower level, as well as the first bedroom which has a queen bed. The 2nd bedroom opens up with a barn door and also has a queen bed as well as beautiful views of the creek and trees. For this reason it is my favorite bedroom! At the bottom of the stairs is the mud room which is a an enclosed patio and is a great place to store recreational equipment or wet/muddy items. It also allows excess to one of the decks which features outdoor seating and a bbq.

Camp Keyser is a wooded 5 acre parcel in the mountains, near mountain loop highway - in the center of everything wonderful in the northern cascade mountains. We have one private cabin and 6 campsites. Tent campers will enjoy the lush landscape of a mature forest with sites along the (seasonal) Thirsty Creek. Nearby (3 minute walk), users can contemplate views of Whitehorse Mountain, Jumbo Mountain, Glacier Peak, and Whitechuck Mountain. This part of the Stillaguamish valley and the adjacent Mountain Loop Highway is known for a great selection of hiking trails, at all skill levels. It is perfect hub for all of your outdoor interests. The trailhead for the summit of Whitehorse Mountain is just a mile away, as is Old Mine Road trail (45 minute hike ending in 2 waterfalls). A 15-20 minute walk takes campers to a swimming hole in the cool Stillaguamish river for a dip or a paddle. Even closer is Whitehorse Regional Trail (great for biking, walking and horseback riding) built on the bed of the former BNSF railroad through the North Stillaguamish River Valley, spanning over 27 miles. The nearly level trail meanders through the valley, rewarding visitors with picturesque, landscape views of forests, farmland, streams and rivers, and mountain vistas. Sites have a generous fire pit and access to a Porta-Potty. For bathing I recommend cool dip in the Stillaguamish River. In season there is also fishing, snowshoeing, concerts at the blue grass festival grounds, a rodeo, and so much more.

Welcome to Christmas Tree Ridge Hello, This space overlooks the Tahuya Valley to the south and sits along the edge of a deep, forested gully to the east. once described as a sea of evergreens on a clear day, 20 mins from town, spot to rest, and recharge. Can feel remote, it does get quite often, but on a dead air day, you"ll hear every little noise that humans with cars, dirt bikes, guns, planes, boats, sometimes dogs and/or people yapping, birds yelling. Other days just wind blown tree white noise. 🏕 Site Overview: (See the site map in photos) Valley Ridge Lookout – Largest, the upper site, w/TeePee, big views, outdoor sink; cold shower, with outhouse nearby. West Perch – Smaller site with water and power, tucked along the western edge, pull through parking. Closed for season/construction on going. Side Step – Message only/ I gotta move some shit out the way if you really want this flat dirt hill slot. Gully Vista – A hike-in, tent/hammock site, via a narrow trail down into the gully. Seen most guests tent camp or bring vans. If your trailering, and the trailer weighs more than your 2WD tow vehicle, this place isn’t the best match. ✅ What Makes This Place Special: Big night south skies—great for moon/stargazing. Backs up to 150+ acres of state timberlans. Hunters: check regulations. The new cut link trail connects the camp to the Howell Lake trail. Tight trails at first then opens up. We’ve got firewood— not perfectly dry but it burns. kindling needed in wet seasons. Trash-free land. Please keep it clean, you're welcome to burn paper products and I encourage you to buy more of them and please pack other waste out with you. ⚠️ A Few Notes: Steep drops —stay alert, especially at night. 1-mile dirt driveway is bumpy—take it slow. New 2022 Well, Fresh water, but I can't legally recommend drinking it since it is still a temporary water setup. Can fill tanks directly from the well if asked. We love this land and look forward to sharing it with respectful guests. Let us know if you have any questions before you roll in. Yes, I used almost all the characters up and similar to every site description as well, enjoy. I don't get to do creative writing often 😄
