The Guinea farm is 18 acres of field and forest on the rural middle peninsula. Only 1 mile from 2 separate secluded dog friendly beaches and a boat launch. There is very little traffic or light pollution here, nature is at your fingertips.
Come visit the farm and experience agritourism at it's finest. Pick your own veggies in the community garden and meet the Guinea fowl! Enjoy the wilderness and learn about the local ecosystem here on the middle peninsula.
There are 3 sites spaced out across the 18 acres set apart for privacy. Wisteria Treehouse site closer to the entrance gate. Trilogy Micro Cabinz is in the pines 700' beyond that and separated by dense forest. Stargazer Tiny cabin is an off grid rustic camping cabin on the back side of the property.
Each site is surrounded by several acres of forest and close to the edge of a large field. There are roaming guinea fowl that may come make a very loud appearance as they canvas the property eating bugs. Deer, Turkeys, Bald Eagles, foxes, and other wildlife are common guests also. Mid-summer is what I call frog season, Tree frogs are abundant and provide a wonderful soundtrack.
There are free to use bicycles, an axe throwing board, and cornhole boards available.
4 miles from shopping and dining in Mathews Virginia, 15 miles to Gwynn Island. Gwynn's Island is an island located in the Chesapeake Bay off of Virginia's Middle Peninsula. The island is located in the northeast part of Mathews County, south of the mouth of the Piankatank River. It is connected to the rest of the county by a swing bridge over Milford Haven.

This property offers a calm and relaxing trip to enjoy a unique experience. At this location, we have bird and squirrel feeders to watch the wildlife. We also have a fire pit to enjoy a nice fire and watch the stars at night. Down the road, you can enjoy the view of the river or visit historical Fort Nonsense park. First of all, the location. The cabin is located on a rural road that is a five minute drive to downtown Onancock, which offers a coffee shop, several restaurants, bakery, shops, Saturday farmers’ market, and the harbor. Chincoteague and the famous ponies are 35 minutes north, and bougie Cape Charles is 40 minutes south.
When you open the door to this 300’ gem, you will step back in time to a simpler way of life. This century-old building was moved to the site and has been brought back to life, preserving the original character, while adding the creature comforts we love of today. Soaring 12 foot ceilings provide a spacious air, and the original wood interior offer charm and patina that simply cannot be manufactured. In the past, it was a barber shop and then a poker joint.
This place is a design nerd’s dream, a clever combination of old, new, and vintage pieces, handmade pottery and art, with close attention paid to each chosen piece.
Lace curtains and blackout blinds cover all your light preferences for peaceful sleeping. The queen bed is a high end hybrid mattress with traditional coil base and memory foam top. A giant 55” TV is directly across from the bed for cozy streaming.
The modern bathroom has a vintage wall sink found on site, and terrific water pressure from a rain shower head with instant, never ending Rinnai hot water.
The kitchen has an ample antique sideboard as your sink, apartment size refrigerator, induction hot plate, coffee, microwave, and combo convection toaster oven/air fryer. The marble table seats two. A comfortable down-filled loveseat adds another lounge option. You will enjoy all the artistic touches around the room.
Did I mention the front porch??? It’s the perfect spot for morning coffee, afternoon wine, and evening stargazing from rocking chairs with your boo. A pretty view of a wide field is across the street and will sooth your weary soul. What’s not to love about that?

I very much enjoyed my weekend getaway here, and Evie + her family were beyond helpful with anything I needed. Great place, great people😊

This was the perfect little get away! The house had all the necessities while still feeling like you are on a camping trip. Ian was extremely nice and helpful, and even let us meet his birds! The house is not far from two different beaches and there is a very nice lake to hike and fish at only 30 minutes away.

The Site was very well kept! The bathroom was actually very well kept and better than I expected. The cabin was cozy and comfortable. The owner turned the heater on, built us a fire before arrival, and ensured we would have everything and anything we needed during our stay. Overall, it was a wonderful stay! We truly enjoyed this property.
Ian messaged and said we could arrive early and we felt very at home. We got to see the Guinea Fowl, Turkeys, Chickens and the baby chicks! The kids loved being able to roam and explore.
The solar power Ian has set up made it easy to charge items and have lights for night time visibility. He truly has poured his heart and soul into building a one of a kind camping experience.

I took my two boys to this gorgeous piece of Heaven. Wisteria blooming everywhere, accommodations were so dreamy! Ian the host is so friendly & took the time to educate my boys on his farm. The Wisteria Treehouse is a magical place. Both adults and children loved it. Not only is it super cool to camp in a treehouse but it's also beautifully built too. The upper treehouse looks like a ships hold with portholes and everything

Such a unique and private treehouse adventure!
The main house and other 2 sites were almost completely hidden behind trees outlining a small open field that was perfect for stargazing.
I loved having the option of sleeping in the treehouse or on the cots in the tent that was securely anchored to the elevated wooden platform.
The porch area leading into the treehouse had 2 camp chairs, which created the perfect lookout to enjoy morning coffee and the gas cooktop/grill provided a convenient, covered area to cook breakfast.
Ian, the host, maintained excellent communication from booking to checkout and responded quickly when I had questions about the battery operated light switches and WiFi connection.
Having several beach options just a few minutes drive away was better than I hoped considering the ease of access and how few people were at the beaches. For a while I had Aaron’s Beach completely to myself!
Staying at the Wisteria Treehouse is now my favorite “glamping” get away and look forward to returning soon!

Oh my gosh, this cabin is everything. From the front porch to the kitchen and every little detail made the cabin feel like home. Great location to everything that makes the eastern shore special and Mona was incredibly helpful sharing recommendations on places to eat and things to do! The cabin itself was really cute and functional. We were there in February when it was cold and rainy and stayed warm and cozy. Being so close to beaches was amazing, beautiful places in every direction and the property itself was also really spacious and cool.
