Campsite was accurate described. Host was gracious and communicated quickly. Location was centrally located to lots of areas. Luray to the north, Elkton just around the corner, and Waynesboro to the south. Campsite was nice. Even with houses closer by, it was quiet and felt secluded. Except for maybe some nearby roosters to wake you up. Their horses loved to say hello especially once they learned you have apples for them. Would definitely stay here again.

We spent a peaceful night on Vickie's land. GPS took us right to the driveway, we pulled in to a nice level lot with picturesque surroundings and great views. The 30 amp hook-up was especially nice on a chilly late October night to run a small space heater. Our host was very responsive to all communications.

Hearts of gold! These folks are excellent hosts. Happy to have elec for this stay, a place to walk my dog, panoramic views, and star-filled nights. Grass was level. Even after a heavy rain and surprise October thunderstorm the field was dried out.
Restaurants in either direction (Shenandoah and Elkton), duckpin bowling, Bear Lithia farm market, Massanutten resort, local Stonewall park has walking paths, dog park, and more.
Vickie and her family will take great care of you.

The directions were spot on, even leading to the exact site. There was plenty of room between sites. Billy was a warm and friendly person and certainly made you feel very welcome. I will want to camp there again

We stayed on Vickie's land after a day of hiking in Shenandoah National Park. It was close to both the park and the town (and gas prices were great here!), and easy to get to. Nice open and level field in which to park and set up, with beautiful views. We had everything we needed for a relaxing stay and purchased some firewood to enjoy a fire through the evening. There was plenty of excellent quality wood, even paper and kindling, and Vickie has done a good job of providing all you could need and having it ready-to-go. It was an excellent stay; I wish all were this nice! Thank you so much!

This spot was so pleasant, we stayed longer than expected. Nice clean, open, level, mowed field with plenty of space for two sites without being on top of each other. Ample space to walk my dog. The nearby road was unobtrusive. Vickie, the host, was very helpful. We will definitely stay again when in the area.

This was our first visit and definitely won’t be our last. I never tire of sweeping mountain views and Awesome View delivers! Camp area is tightly mowed and easy in/out with minimal leveling required for TT. A great place for a relaxing and quiet weekend getaway 10/10😊

Spectacular! We stayed here to explore Shenandoah National Park (10min) and Luray Caverns. Unforgettable memories were made here. We found the site and the water with ease. There was plenty of room for our 36' rig (that we dare not take in to the Park). We stayed 4 nights as a group of 2 with the in-laws in a Class C in site 1. We spent every evening playing ball with our boys in the field and eating supper with a majestic sunset. The horses made great neighbors! The picnic table was a great addition. We didn't use the firepit, but it looked great as well. Vickie was so nice, in fact my 8 year old said, "she is very sweet and kind." We ran our generator as needed. We were a little worried about our options for dumping, but it was fine. I suggest you ask Vickie about that. Would definitely stay here again even if just passing through.

Views were very nice! I had a nice peaceful evening before heading into Shinandoah. Also not to far from multiple caverns. I would definitely recommend, just make sure you don’t need a hookup or bathroom.

I would highly recommend Billyville to other Hip campers. Our Host Billy was very quick to respond in messages from the very start. Upon arrival, we were greeted friendly and felt welcomed.
The site is very quiet. We really enjoyed the serenity of an evening fire under the starlit sky.
Billy had got our fire ready to light. All we had to do was light it. Very nice.
The entrance is down a one lane road. Well maintained. Very easy to navigate. We have a 31 foot 5th wheel (13’ high), and had no problems getting in. Billy met us and guided us into our spot. It is a big pull thru.
The site is grassy. Not muddy. Easy to level. Set up with a fire ring, a picnic table, and two Adirondack chairs. There is a 30 amp plug. We have 2 dogs. And was surprised to hear Billy had just finished creating a dog run.
On the property is the Bandshell. Where Billy puts on concerts with other talented musicians. So it being Labor Day weekend, we got to enjoy a concert.
If you’re looking for a very quiet place to stay, this is it.

The campsites were fantastic. Water pressure was wonderful. 30 and 50 amp hook ups beautiful bathhouse. Trails to explore for Miles. Wonderful access to a nice shallow spot on the James River. Great for swimming, putting in your kayak or tube. You will also notice the remnants of a larger infrastructure that was once a private school campus.
