The property here was amazing to be at. I was part of a 4.person group bikepacking through Vermont and came across this as an option for reprieve during a to be rainy night. The main lodge was very homey, communal, and clean. A huge kitchen and plenty of seating/hang out area for folks to catch up and chat. Honestly we would have loved to stay longer and get to know even more about the place as it seemed to have some good history and current operations to it.

Wonderful spot. We stayed here on our fall trip to dog mountain with our senior dog and light hiking in fall foliage. The bed was comfortable and the lodge area was nice to make coffee, hot teas, and take a warm shower. The hosts were lovely and communicative. They even had the sweetest horses living there. Gorgeous comfortable glamping spot. Will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Wise Pines was a lovely off-the-beaten-track place to stay near Woodstock. Incredibly comfortable bed and clean amenities. My dog and I enjoyed walking the beautiful gravel road and hanging out in the common space by the fireplace. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic! Definitely worth a visit! We enjoyed a nice relaxing few days taking advantage of the trails cut on property and some fantastic mornings, sunsets and Star gazing. Great “glamping” sites and the Basecamp lodge was perfect. I definitely recommend it!

Our family of four and two cats had an amazing time spent on this beautiful, peaceful property surrounded by trees and wildlife. The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and comfortable. The lodge was also very cozy, well maintained, and spacious. There was a perfect balance of the outdoors and creature comforts so we felt like we had everything we needed during our stay. This cabin is a wonderful choice for those seeking a private getaway in any season. Our experience was warm and welcoming from the day of our arrival to our departure and I highly recommend staying here!

Basecamp is a fabulous glamping experience. Being able to use the kitchen to make dinner and coffee in the morning was wonderful! We stayed at their wedding hill site. It was completely secluded, with.a gorgeous overlook. The yurt tent was cozy after a long day of traveling, I slept great and awoke to opening the tent and gazing through the fog as dawn broke.

Base camp was really nice, very clean. Evan was a great host. He brought our firewood out every time we asked for wood. He brought us ice as well. The brook ridge site is nice and secluded, the walk to the site isn't bad. The property is well taken care of!

Our weekend at Wise Pines was an incredible experience. The lodging and ammneities far exceeded my expectations. Private rooms had fans and sound machines, very appreciated for the moms in our group enjoying undisturbed night sleep. The bunkhouse offered comfortable accommodation and our group loved the drawn curtains for each bunk. The treehouses were a joy to stay in, very comfortable and cozy. We booked the entire property for our weekend trip and spent a lot of time in the lodge enjoying the art books and games, as well as utilizing the stunning yoga studio for our own restoration. The space offers yoga classes as well! Highly recommend a trip to Wise Pines whether you're a solo traveler/hiker looking to connect with others or a group seeking a restorative nature getaway.

Welcome to my camper in this magical location in Newark, VT! The camper has a solar-powered battery so you are able to use the lights and the slide out for more space. *Note that power outlets do not work.* There is currently no water hooked up, but there is a spring up the road across from Newark Pond, a lovely spot for swimming or kayaking. Bald Hill Pond is another beautiful pond nearby. The property is a little over 3 miles from Lake Willoughby where you can do all kinds of hiking and go swimming/kayaking. There are also walking trails surrounding the property. There is a fire pit but you must bring your own wood. There is an outhouse for your bathroom needs (do not use camper bathroom - it is not hooked up). You will need to bring your own bedding and/or sleeping bag for the bed. Adjacent to the Missisquoi Recreation Trail, our site offers easy access to scenic biking and hiking, stretching 10 miles north to the Canadian border and 20 miles west to St.Albans, a great town on Lake Champlain. Due to our location on the river, you will undoubtedly see beavers, geese, ducks, blue heron and other waterfowl. If you're lucky, you might spy the family of river otters, a deer, turtles, and wild turkeys. The Enosburg Golf Course is 5 minutes away. Jay Peak Resort and Smugglers Notch are both about a 35 minute drive. Lots of mountains to climb and trails to hike within minutes. There are several local swimming holes nearby. Our location is approximately 1.5 hours to Montreal, Quebec and 1 hour to Burlington Vermont.
