Weekend Trip to Bear Lake Blue Heaven

John’s place is amazing with easy hookups. The view from the site is incredible with both the mountains and Bear Lake. Highly recommend!

1 night at RIVER BEND CAMP GROUND

This was the perfect place for my husband, dogs, and our camper van. I wish we could have stayed longer! The host communicated with us but was also respectful of our privacy. We would definitely stay here again.

1 night at Echo Island

Nice to have access to pools, hot tub, and nice clean showers and facilities. Fishing rules have changed post-listing- pay for permit, but catch and release only. They were very nice and responsive, and we enjoyed our stay!

1 night at Mountain Top Getaways

I did car camping with my pup on the property! It was very peaceful and I loved that it felt like we were completely surrounded by nature. The cows were so cute! I had anxiety about getting to the spot without service, but was able to find it rather easy with downloading the map ahead of time and following the signs. Great spot, will stay there again if I'm passing through town!

6 nights at Secluded Maple Creek River bottoms

Tent camping at Site 4 was wonderful. The site is separated from the others by a fairly steep hill that goes up and then back down the other side. We were able to make it multiple times in our AWD Subaru Legacy, but if it had been muddy I’m not sure we could have made it. The outhouse is closer to the other sites, but it’s not a bad walk to get back to it. The site itself was large and had a variety of different birds that we enjoyed watching and listening to. We saw a couple of deer in the site as well. There is access to the creek from the site, but it took us a while to find as the path down is covered with trees and foliage. We were able to harvest fire wood from fallen trees around the site, but Ken also had bundles of wood available to purchase if needed. One thing to note - Site 4 is located behind a property (the same one you turn into from the main road), and it seems that they use site 4 to empty their trucks into. We watched them dump large rocks down the hill and into the site for about an hour. Not sure if this is part of a deal they have with Ken, but they started without any warning and it could have been dangerous if anyone had been standing where the rocks were falling. We had the opportunity to explore the other sites as well, and I would recommend all except maybe site 2 as it had no shade. Site 1 is across the river. Overall it was a very enjoyable and relaxing week at this site, and we are already thinking about when we will be coming back!

This space was ABSOLUTELY stunning and so peaceful! I would highly recommend camping in this area. The owners were also extremely helpful and so kind!!

Beautiful mountain top site with lots of grass. We stayed on the full moon and it was gorgeous as it came over the mountain top. Great stay.

Weekend Trip to Cottage Stopover

This stop suited us well. It’s easy to find and we found a nice, level spot just off the driveway for our 21 foot campervan. We were able to open out the side “patio” towards a creek and felt very private, even though we were fairly close to the house. The community is small and quiet.

Absolutely beautiful! Not too far from a gas station if you need ice etc. bathroom was close to sites 1-3 and clean. We stayed at #2 and I’d book sites 1 through 3 just for more privacy or if we came with a group. Our dogs loved it, even though for the most part we kept them leashed. Gorgeous at night with the moon and stars. Fast communication from host. T-Mobile worked at the top once of hill once we reached our site. Would stay again!

Beautiful views, birds chirping, cow song, med/low light polution let us see lots of stars. Directions are a bit tricky but there are signs and the road is kept up nice enough for 2WD vehicles or small cars. Some houses within view but was quiet and didn't hamper the experience. Bathroom within walking distance.

Great! Exactly as described! We enjoyed the privacy and the freedom for our dogs off-leash! Directions to the location was spot-on target. Thumbs Up!

I’ve been here 10 times +/- and it’s always the best. We drive here from Utah just to camp here! Great place!!!!

1 night at RIVER BEND CAMP GROUND

We stopped here for one night on our way down to Utah and it turned out to be a fabulous spot! Al met us and showed us down to the camping area on their property and helped us get our motor home in where he wanted it. We had the place to ourselves and a fabulous view of the river made our overnight stay very enjoyable. Our dogs loved exploring everything. The highway is pretty close so if you're tent camping I would bring earplugs. That's the only downside, the highway noise is pretty noticeable, especially when someone veers off and hits the rumble straps. We had a motor home to sleep in so didn't bother us. But something to consider if you're in a tent and not insulated from the noise. But other than that the place was picturesque. We had great weather! The place was clean and well maintained. Woud be a fun place to stay with a group!

~30 minutes off of I80 down a dirt road, but it was well maintained. The disco ball is funny, but easy to identify that ‘you’re there’. Didnt see anyone else - super remote and peaceful

Es un buen lugar para RV, baños y regaderas limpias, espacio de diversion para niños, una piscina qué estaba cerrado en el mes de abril, pero no lo pero no para camping, está muy cerca del freeway y se escucha los ruidos de los carros, a parte tiene pocos lugares para camping.

1 night at Henefer Valley Overview

Absolutely stunning hill/pasture scenery. Host was easy to communicate with, more than willing to allow me to stay past check-out to continue my work day. The hardest part was finding a "spot" to camp based on the Google map pin the host sent me. There wasn't a fire ring or any amenities on site — you are camping in acres of land...no complaints on my end, would absolutely return for the peace and quiet.

Despite having someone parked in my spot upon arrival, which was 11pm, this park was amazing. They were quick to help with the issue of someone in my spot by giving me another spot. The bathrooms and on-site facilities were very clean and well-kept. I actually spoke shortly with the maintenance tech there, an older veteran, and he was very nice. I hope to find myself in the area to pay another visit

If you want to feel like the only people on Earth, camp here. Very secluded, beautiful views, incredible sunset. Pro Tip: If you're camping after a rain or melting show, put your RV/Tent on the right side of the tree (the side with the ball). The other side of the tree collects water.
