Park your van, trailer or RV a skip away from Yuba Lake on private 3 acre land. Unimproved parking space surrounded by beautiful views. Plenty of space to set up tents, pets welcome. Just minutes away from the marina and Yuba Lake State Park amenities including zip line, potable water and dump with state park entrance fee. Enjoy the lake during the day and the stars at night. Property has two sites. Both have optional electrical hookup, boat slip , and firewood. Site 1 - “El Conejo Camp Spot” away from the main road featuring 4x20 step off deck, picnic table, and camp chairs, as well (2) 30amp RV hookups. This is a pull thru or pull around site. Site 2 - “Roadside Summit” with picnic table, fire ring, and 50amp electrical hookup. This is a pull through site with grade. Lake can be accessed with state park fee at the marina entrance and the north shore -OR- on the south side via five minute ride or 1.25 mi walk. Note: this is a shared private beach for the properties on this side of the lake. It is included with your booking and limited to that time. It has many amenities including: large gazebos on artificial turf, fire pits, playground, flush toilets, water, and docks. (See Add-Ons if you need a boat slip for the day or overnight). Road in is dirt with minor grade up to property. Notes: ——— * Wildlife - In late summer, cattle graze nearby. In spring, you may see sheep and baby lambs on the way to the south beach access. There are rattle snakes, bunnies, and we’ve seen a scorpion or two. *Weather - Summer days can be quite hot with cooler nights. There is no shade on the property. Wind gusts carrying dust can occur. It’s a good idea to check weather app for conditions. *Landscape/Views - Utah natural landscape changes markedly with the seasons. Some photos may reflect green grasses, when these dry out mid summer, they can produce fine stickers to be aware of with long hair pets, kids, and ankles in general. Views can change depending on developing neighboring properties. Sunsets either at the lake or the property are unobstructed and often dramatic. Night sky viewing is also pretty awesome as there is very little light pollution. (Bortle Class 2 Dark Sky)

National forest 53mi from Oak City · 328 sites
Trivia time! Which part of Utah contains the densest black bear and largest elk population? The Manti-La Sal National Forest, of course! How about this one: where does most of the coal mined in Utah come from? Well, 85% of it is mined right here in the Manti-La Sal. This special forest is full of natural surprises, like lofty mountaintops, lush meadows, cavernous sandstone canyons, plus plenty of water. If it sounds like there’s a ton of diversity here, that’s because there truly is! All of this diversity means that there’s a lot to do out here. Near Moab, the forest is home to the La Sal Mountains with their tall peaks and narrow canyons. To the north, on the Wasatch Plateau, you’ll be yearning for your next road trip along the Huntington and Eccles Canyons National Scenic Byways (also called the Energy Loop). And when it comes time to hit the hay at night? You guessed it—there are plenty of campgrounds to choose from.

Wake up to endless high desert sky and fall asleep under some of the darkest, clearest night skies in Utah. Yuba Desert Sky RV Camp sits on 4 open acres just outside Scipio, minutes from Yuba Lake/Reservoir and directly adjacent to BLM land, so bring the ATVs, the dog, and the telescope. This is true open high desert terrain: flat, hard-packed ground with no trees or brush to navigate, which makes for easy pull-through access even for big rigs. Every site has full hookups, electric, water, and sewer, so you roll in, hook up, and you're set. There is cell service on site, though coverage varies depending on your carrier. Past guests have called the sites level and quiet, with "breathtaking" night skies. Come expecting wide-open desert views rather than shade and tree cover; that openness is exactly what makes the stargazing here so good. Sites: 8 RV only sites: full hookups, sleeps 6, rigs under 45 ft Good to know: No toilet facilities on site. Great for self-contained RVs; tent campers should plan to bring their own setup Pet friendly Adjacent to BLM land for hiking, OHV riding, and exploring Close to Yuba Lake/Reservoir for boating, fishing, and swimming

Farm Camp Near Maple Canyon

17. Farm Camp Near Maple Canyon

40mi from Oak City · 1 site · Tent, RV
Situated on a working family farm in Fountain Green, Utah, at nearly 6,000 feet of elevation, Hansen Hollows sits just 15 minutes from Maple Canyon—one of the world's premier sport climbing destinations, with over 550 routes ranging from beginner-friendly 5.4 climbs to elite 5.14 routes. When the Maple Canyon campground fills up—and it does, fast—this is your base camp. The farm itself is worth the stay on its own. Elk herds move through at dusk, wild turkeys patrol the brush line at dawn, and the Milky Way stretches from horizon to horizon overhead on clear nights. The Sanpete Valley spreads out below, with the Wasatch Plateau rising behind the property. This is authentic high-desert Utah at its finest—sagebrush, scrub oak, native grasses, and genuinely dark skies. Hansen Hollows has been in the same family for generations. The land carries that history in every weathered fence post and irrigation channel. You're not staying at a resort—you're camping on real, working agricultural land where the seasons still matter and the quiet is genuine. Whether you're here to climb, hike, stargaze, or simply disconnect from everything, Hansen Hollows gives you the space and the silence to do it properly. ⚠️ ACTIVE FIRE RESTRICTION — UPDATED JUNE 25, 2026 Sanpete County is currently under Stage 1 Fire Restrictions, effective June 12, 2026. Campfires and all open fires using solid fuels are prohibited until further notice. This includes use of the fire ring at Hansen Hollows. Propane stoves with a shut-off valve are permitted when used at least 3 feet from flammable material. We will update this listing immediately when the restrictions are lifted. Please check the current status at utahfireinfo.gov before your visit. Thank you for helping protect this land and our community during an extremely dangerous fire season.
