Site 2 - “Roadside Summit” with picnic table, fire ring, and 50amp electrical hookup. This is a pull through site with grade.
Lake can be accessed with state park fee at the marina entrance and the north shore -OR- on the south side via five minute ride or 1.25 mi walk. Note: this is a shared private beach for the properties on this side of the lake. It is included with your booking and limited to that time. It has many amenities including: large gazebos on artificial turf, fire pits, playground, flush toilets, water, and docks. (See Add-Ons if you need a boat slip for the day or overnight).

* Wildlife - In late summer, cattle graze nearby. In spring, you may see sheep and baby lambs on the way to the south beach access.
There are rattle snakes, bunnies, and we’ve seen a scorpion or two.
*Weather - Summer days can be quite hot with cooler nights. There is no shade on the property. Wind gusts carrying dust can occur. It’s a good idea to check weather app for conditions.
*Landscape/Views - Utah natural landscape changes markedly with the seasons. Some photos may reflect green grasses, when these dry out mid summer, they can produce fine stickers to be aware of with long hair pets, kids, and ankles in general.
Views can change depending on developing neighboring properties.
Sunsets either at the lake or the property are unobstructed and often dramatic. Night sky viewing is also pretty awesome as there is very little light pollution. (Bortle Class 2 Dark Sky)

We loved tent camping here. It is up a canyon so it was significantly cooler than down on the freeway, which was great as it was over 100 degrees. It has beautiful views and we really appreciated having a flushing toilet because we have small kids. A perfect rustic spot with beautiful stars at night.

We were a little nervous at first because the temps were supposed to be 100+ but it turned out we had two really pretty decent weather days. One was cooler and one was warmer. I pretty much had the whole beach to ourselves for one and a half days. We had a wild wind storm one afternoon but it kept the camper cool. The sand was nice and compact and it felt weird driving our Minnie Winnie on it but it handled it well. Spent a ton of time fishing and caught a bunch of catfish, carp and a couple smallmouth. The dogs loved it! They wanted to play ball all day and cool off in the lake. We were pleasantly surprised and will definitely be back.

Best of all was listening to and seeing all the birdlife around the farm! Bring your bird book (or app) and binoculars! This was the perfect space for us and would be for anyone wanting to bring a trailer or RV! It’s got plenty of room and is all leveled out nicely so pulling in and parking was a breeze. It’s so peaceful and quiet out there. The stars at night are breathtaking and the beach access just a couple minutes away was super fun with the pavilions, docks to jump in, and beach for our kids to have a blast. You get all the perks of hookups for your trailer without having to be in a packed trailer park or KOA. And you’re right there next to BLM land (plenty of riding trails) and the lake! We would definitely come back! You won’t regret staying here!

A bit windy at times, you are top of hill looking out over the valley so it’s worth it! She had a nice flat deck to put your stove in so it’s even. This tiny house my family rented was way cooler than we could have imagined. On the outside it looks small but inside is so roomy, comfortable, and somehow looks way bigger inside than out. Overlooks the beach and easy walk down to it. There were plenty of accommodations provided and just overall was a great time there. We plan to make this spot a tradition.

Some of the listing pictures seem to be AI or altered in some way? But others are real and accurate. Bathroom and campground pics are all accurate but the campsite pictures look fake to me.
