I didn't end up making it to my scheduled weekend over Thanksgiving and while I enjoy supporting local businesses and would even donate (it was $100-120 for the four days), when I texted the host this, James, about using those 4 days another time and thanked him either way..he didn't have the decency to respond at least saying yay or nay it wasn't doable or it was...just ignored. My son and I had a great time camping here! John and Nugget were wonderful hosts - very friendly, welcoming and helpful. John helped guide us to a spot that had enough vertical clearance for our RTT and helped us get our “camp kitchen” setup. It’s a beautiful property - we didn’t get to explore as much as we would have liked because it rained but we will definitely be back!

Big beautiful campsite right along the Colorado river gorgeous view. Super cute bath house with two showers one toilet there’s towels , shampoo, conditioner, and body wash available. There’s a separate dishwashing station on the left side of the bathhouse. The host was extremely nice very responsive. She’s on the ground so if you ever need anything, she’s there to help. We’ll definitely return!

The site was big with a beautiful view of the river and well equipped with a fire pit, picnic table and even a hammock. Bathroom and showers were nice and clean and stocked with amenities like towels, bath rugs and even shampoo and body wash. There is a dish washing station on the side of the bathhouse that was very convenient and appreciated. Bridget was very friendly and helpful and she responded immediately to any questions. Blue Sage was just what we were looking for our adventure. Really neat trail to get to the camping spot we wanted. Lots of room to play and tucked away from the surrounding area. My friends and I had an absolute blast on the pasture mingle campsite. I will say though, if you’re looking for a lot of privacy, you’ll probably want to go with the mother tree location. Since this campsite is next to the barn where horse rides begin, there were people coming in and out a lot during our stay. Didn’t bother us, and we preferred being right up next to the horses, with two sheep roaming and playing around for us to watch. I’d recommend this spot to families with kids who like animals, and the mother tree location for people who want more of the private river spot. Overall we were very pleased.

Sheri and Johnny were extremely kind and hospitable hosts. We enjoyed the privacy of the campsites that were available (couldn’t see any of the other guests unless you went looking)! Very convenient if you’re looking to visit Hamilton pools which is just five minutes away. Also our favorite point was that it’s in an area with little/less light pollution from the city and so we were able to get really nice stargazing views!
