. These are unique camping spots along the Guadalupe River. I didn’t exactly understand how unique until I started getting feedback from my campers. The surrounding scenery will lower your blood pressure and do wonders to let you reconnect with nature. Sit back and close your eyes late in the evening and listen to all the wildlife talking to each other. There is faint traffic noise from 90A about a 1/3 of a mile away but it calms down after 7 or so. Currently no amenities but I am in the plans for some portable bathrooms. Please be prepared to cover all your bathroom and cooking needs. I do have some good clean well water from a faucet on the way into the campgrounds. Campfires are permitted. There is a convenience store (Diamond A) with clean bathrooms and a great bbq just 5 miles to the west on 90A and a Walmart and HEB 10 miles to the east on 90A. (Both Diamond A and Walmart sell fishing licenses if you need one. Dogs are allowed at sites 3 and 4 but not at 1 or 2 where my livestock guardian dogs have access to. No matter the size or temperament of your pets you are always expected to have them under your control at ALL times. I have very small livestock in the area frequently I am almost always on the property and try to have my phone with me while campers are on site, just let me know what you need and I will do what I can to accommodate you. Come and stay at our four acre riverfront property right on the Guadalupe! Half of the property is at higher elevation, with a nice sunset vista and breezy camping spots. Parking is also located up here. A short walk down a gated ravine takes you to the lower-leveled riverfront part of the property. This area offers 1-2 camping spots on a wooden deck, and 2-3 camping spots on the rock/concrete pavilion overlooking the fire pit and benches. The riverfront amenities include a gas grill, a cooler, a fire pit (firewood included but always subject to a burn ban), and well water for a hose shower (not for drinking). There is well water on the upper part of the property as well. No fires are permitted up top. Enjoy the views up top and the amenities down below. Set up your camp wherever works best for you! Note: There is no electricity or bathrooms on the property. Please pack out what you pack in. We rent the entire property to one person/reservation at a time. Up to 10 people on the property allowed or $25 per extra person. Cast a line in the Guadalupe and enjoy the bass and catfish fishing — If you're interested in a fishing guide for a 2-3 hour morning run, the cost is $250.00. My friends and I had an absolute blast on the pasture mingle campsite. I will say though, if you’re looking for a lot of privacy, you’ll probably want to go with the mother tree location. Since this campsite is next to the barn where horse rides begin, there were people coming in and out a lot during our stay. Didn’t bother us, and we preferred being right up next to the horses, with two sheep roaming and playing around for us to watch. I’d recommend this spot to families with kids who like animals, and the mother tree location for people who want more of the private river spot. Overall we were very pleased.

I kinda really don’t even want to leave a review because I don’t want the secret getting out. But this camp site is just amazing if you know what you’re getting into! It’s rustic, bring your own table and water rustic. But for that “downside” you get so many upsides. The quiet, ooooh the quiet. The stars and the quiet make you forget you’re only 30 minutes from home. The hosts are amazing, friendly, and on top of everything on the facility. As an example, there was a shortage of tp in one of the bathrooms, no big deal, I keep tp in the truck for this reason. But next time I went in (next morning) it was stocked! It’s the little things in that really and truly make this place incredible.

We had a great time here! Sites were large enough to accommodate 2 vehicles and a tent, plus 3 dogs. Bathrooms at the front were clean, plus a hose nearby for non potable water. We had fire wood delivered to our site a couple of times and the staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

My girlfriend and I had a magical weekend at the ranch. It was easy to find- close to Georgetown which has a nice market on Saturdays- yet remote enough to stargaze. We rode horses and played with the goats, ponies, and a litter of 8 7-week old puppies. At night the hosts brought us plenty of firewood for our spot near the horse pasture. It was a very fun and friendly experience all around.

What an amazing piece of property. It’s on a lazy bend of the Guadalupe and the owner lent us a John boat to take my son out fishing. There are numerous mature pecan trees and it’s just beautiful. It would be perfect were it not for the occasional road noise from Highway 90, and we were camping pretty far away. Not the owners fault obviously. He was a tremendous host; this place is a 9.5/10 with the only flaw keeping it from perfection being the occasional road noise.

The camp is exactly what we needed! As we had several large dogs with us, it allowed our dogs to have the space and privacy that we needed as well as a nice peaceful vacation. Having the electricity there was very helpful! It was quiet and peaceful, and even though we had to move the trailer to dump and fill up water, it was still what we were looking for! And everything was there on site. Our host page was responsive and helpful! Would definitely stay again.

We brought our own camping chairs, but there were also chairs available and picnic tables.

We fully enjoyed staying at Bridgette’s place. We were a small group at site 3 with 2 tents, a truck tent and small travel trailer. We had plenty of space. There was another group at site 2. We could hardly hear each other (but did play some songs together). It was nice to have the bathroom close. It even had hot water. We look forward to staying there again.

This is a wonderful place to camp. I went with some friends, and the site we were on (Pecan orchard river bottom) was perfect. It has a large, open, flat area with plenty of trees (and some great hammock spots) high enough above a calm river that there is no worry of the river rising, with good access to a sandy riverside. This spot would be great for families - I plan on trying to get my family down here soon. You could do quite a large group on this site, and still feel quite isolated, despite having quick access to the road, and a gas station / BBQ place only a few minutes away. The proprietor (Billy) was super easy to communicate with, very responsive, and kept us informed of everything we needed to know. I highly recommend this location, and this host!
