I had a really great time camping here. Traveled down from Kansas City in my camper van, and was welcomed by both Beaux and Hollis, who were incredibly nice, and accommodating people. They made sure to give me a tour of the campsite, and gave me a list of items to discover in a scavenger hunt through their very well-cared for forest walk, which was full of wildlife and beautiful scenery. As a musician coming through for some rest, and inspiration.. I found The Happy Horse to fit my needs perfectly.
This place is truly a gem. I could not recommend staying here enough, and will 100% be back.

Great amenities and the horses and other animals really bring this place together
Small creek/river down a small path made the morning soooo relaxing and the patio area made for a great place to sit and relax !!!

Our overnight camping trip to Billy’s was a last-minute decision — and we’re so glad we made it! Everything was exactly as pictured, and we had a wonderful time on his beautiful property. We spent the day fishing and taking advantage of the Jon boat and kayak right by the shore. We cooked over an open flame with wood we purchased directly from Billy, which made the experience even better.
The weather was perfect, the company was even better, and the sweet sounds of nature were truly the cherry on top. Thank you, Billy, for sharing your little slice of heaven with us — we can’t wait to come back!

I would highly recommend staying at the Happy Horse Camp! The cabins have a lovely, quaint vibe and are clean with a solid set of amenities. Showers and bathrooms are available, and the on site nature walk with the scavenger hunt is very fun.
Beaux and Hollis went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. I proposed to my fiance and they helped set up the proposal location on the nature walk. My fiance was very suprised and it made for a magical day:) Huge thanks to Beaux and Hollis for their help and responsiveness.

Billy's place is beautiful. He has the sites spread out so there is lots of privacy. Great view of the rive, big shady trees, and enjoyed the sheep grazing through. Easy walk to access to the Guadalupe River. Looking forward to next time.

We stayed at the Mother Tree Site and had a great time! We were able to park right next to the site, had great access to the river front and the trees provide a great windbreak at the site. Overall it was a great trip, even with some rain!

Lovely, peaceful campsite near the Colorado River, with plenty of room to spread out. We got lucky—we were the only ones camping so had the place to ourselves all weekend. Bridget was a fantastic and welcoming host, immediately responding to all of our questions and requests. Electric hookup at site and communal bathhouse and dish washing area were great amenities. We loved our time here and will definitely return!

Simple campsites, owners are super nice. The property is kept and feels very safe. The bathroom and outdoor shower are what you would expect for a campground, but many of the doors don’t quite shut all the way. Overall great spot to camp!

This is the perfect country retreat along the Colorado River! We stayed in the fancy river shack and the accommodations were absolutely amazing. The 1st night I used the outdoor grill which was perfect along with a fire pit evening. The host delivered two bundles of firewood immediately upon request at $10 a bundle. The second night was too windy for a fire but it was still great. The River Shack is just a short walk down to the river bank and there are two tent and camping sites close to the shore with their own amenities. All sites are peacefully and perfectly placed to provide a woodsy country private and tranquil get away feel. The River Shack itself is so attractive and the kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom are perfect and modern, and can be compartmentalized with sliding doors. Three flat-screen TVs across the jacuzzi room, living room, and bedroom were great, along with a desk area for your laptop with wifi. Last and of course, the jacuzzi room lets you know you are "Glamping" in ultimate style and country grace! I literally watched the morning news with coffee in the jacuzzi! Why not! With nature watching I saw 10 deer total throughout my stay and a Cow! My Lady and family will return one day and get some fishing done!

I wish I could leave them 10 stars. Perfect set up for beginners under the tree. Very secluded and beautiful. Easy to get to. First time using Hipcamp and they made everything SO enjoyable for us! Thank you so SO much Makayla!

Great weekend spent at P2! Got to work up a sweat on a trail ride, then go cool off in the river. The communal spot on the river is perfect for sitting a chair in and relaxing to the sounds of nature. The communal cooking/sitting area was really great too. Made meal prep so much easier - there are several grills, tables and plenty of chairs.

This was one of the most magical setting at which g3 Games has ever had a retreat! Our camp site felt very secluded and peaceful. The fikuage and San Gabriel river were absolutely stunning. Makayla was there to welcome us when we first arrived, showed us around some of the property, then retreated to their on-site home. They would have happily helped if there were any issues, but there were none!
This organization has scheduled retreats like this at various venues for the past 2.5 years. I know that there is personal preference bleeding into this, but P2 Farm is one of the very best places we have ever camped 😁
