Weekend Trip to 13 Acres Meditation Retreat

The place is a GEM! we camped out under cover which made it easier with the heat plus there was electricity to charge phones and fans. The coffe store is super cute and you get 2 free coffees per day. The rest you pay via cash app or leave cash. Outdoor shower was so refreshing and with hot water, which with the Texas summer temp was not hardly needed. The pool was nice and something different to do. At night ypu can take advantage of the community fire surrounded by outdoor furniture. A nice place to paint, chat and have ur coffee. You can use their grills and you can even buy charcoal at tbe store. I brought my own though. Finally, the establishment is on the top of a hill and you get a soft breeze in the afternoon. I did a yoga session on Sat and it was envigorating. I will visit again! I feel safe enough to even be by myself as a retreat place.

Weekend Trip to Magical Lakefront Retreat Property

Wonderfully relaxing. It's a short drive from Austin, but you feel miles away. The minute we stepped foot on Travis's land, we felt calm and content. The blue loft was clean, fun, and funky. Kiddo took the loft bed since my creaky knees couldn't handle the ladder. The downstairs futon is good for sleeping, so we both had our own spaces. The AC was wonderfully cool which was necessary in the heat of the summer. Mornings and evenings were cool in the shade. It was nice to pick one of the various picnic spots scattered about to have breakfast tacos and coffee and in the morning. We brought our paddleboards, but it was much too windy to go on an adventure. Instead, we tied them up to the floating boathouse and and watched a few boats and jet skis having fun while rotating from swimming about to floating with the waves. The covered deck of the floating boathouse it so nice and shady and the perfect spot to get out of the sun for a bit. We had dinner at some of the awesome places that Travis recommended-- The Lighthouse on the Lake & Angel's Ice House. While out & about we got breakfast and snack supplies. All good. It was the perfect getaway!

Solitary, quiet, remote, beautiful spot next to a pond filled with catfish, bass, turtles, and many frogs croaking at night. Not another person in site other than the very friendly ranger couple who checked us in. We felt like we had 100 acres to ourselves with abundant wildlife hopping around us: deer, hares, many types of birds. Wish we could have spent a week here. Bring bug spray as there are a few mosquitoes. Also should mention nice power and water hookup for our camper van, clean outhouse, outdoor shower, great big fire ring.

Really loved this place. The land was gorgeous and the signage through the campsite was helpful and easy to see and find. The bathhouse was such a great addition to this stay as well. The host, Amy, was fantastic. I had to make a super late booking (8/9p day of) and it was no problem at all. She was even very responsive and super friendly about me coming in late. Loved the stay. Campsites are well equipped with chairs, fire pits, and dedicated areas to pitch tents. Clean bathrooms considering it's in the middle of texas hill country. Bugs and small animals are to be expected. The sky at night is worth coming here by itself, and being 15 min from pedernales falls swimming area is a huge plus. Me and my homies enjoyed the space. Weekend Trip to White House Winery vineyard view

We had a great weekend camping in our teardrop. The water hook up and electric hookups worked great! Brandon was nice enough to come outside Friday night to help guide us into the spot as we are still learning how to best back it up. He had turf, string lights, a firepit and a grill along with a cute patio table set up. It was nice to start and end our day in the tasting the room and we enjoyed the beer and wine flight offerings. His dog AJ was super cute and friendly and was happy to say hi to us throughout the weekend. When we left the next morning after calling around to try to find a dump station we ended up making a short detour to Pedernales Falls state park because we were unsuccessful on finding a closer one and most parks weren’t answering their phones on Sunday. Would definitely stay again!

Weekend Trip to Ranch 3232

We were looking for a quick hill country spot specifically for Hamilton Pool and some other things in the area. I like tent camping but we also prefer real bathrooms. This campground was a great option - we used it as a home base for Hamilton Pool, Pedernales Falls SP, LBJ historical sites and Blanco SP. The bathrooms were reasonably clean and well maintained. Most had fans and space heaters, though we did not need them this time of year. Specific to campsite I, it was quiet and there was no one in the campsite next to us. I chose it because other reviews mentioned it being shady and it is. We have a Ford Explorer - a larger vehicle may have a hard time backing in under the branches. It’s a 3-5 minute walk slightly uphill to the bathrooms, manageable for our elementary aged kids. Overall, we would stay here again. There was a slight snafu on firewood - I asked for and paid for it last minute (totally on me!) so it wasn’t there when we got there. They offered a refund or gave me a choice to keep it before I even asked about it, nice customer service.

We had a fantastic time on the property! Campsite was very well equipped with a grill, hammocks, a fire pit, private toilet, and picnic table. It was also nicely secluded, nestled among the trees. Sheri and Johnny were lovely hosts. They were extremely accommodating when we had a last minute schedule change, and they met us when we arrived to show us three different campsite options. We even saw an armadillo stroll by our tent, which is definitely plus points. Would recommend.

Weekend Trip to Game court, covered patio, fire pit

We were in town for an event at Garrison Brothers and this site was perfect for it. Annie's Spot is almost level and is easy to back into if you come in from the driveway. Make sure you have two sewer and fresh water hoses. We needed them for our very short trailer. Our electrical cord was long enough, but it wouldn't hurt to have an extension. It's just a 50 amp plug, so make sure you have an adapter for a 30 amp rig. Looking forward to staying here again soon.
