Prior to that the property had been unoccupied for many years except for the wildlife that continue to call this place home. Several decades ago, before the land was subdivided, a huge earthen pond was constructed, and it, as well as a vast number of trees and other vegetation, helps create a wonderful habitat for us, our guests, and all creatures large and small.
