When you stay in our dome on the farm with an enormous pool, not only do you get to experience something new and exciting, you also have access to so many fun things to do! The coolest part? The top is transparent, so you can fall asleep wishing on a star. This dome is anchored to a sturdy wooden deck. There is a retractable awning that covers each dome reducing the green-house effect during the daytime and can be opened to reveal the beautiful skyline during the day or the wonderous starlit sky at night. Inside you’ll find a cozy king bed and a trundle that can comfortably sleep up to four guests. There is air conditioning and heating inside as well as a full private bathroom. The bathroom even has a clawfoot tub! Toiletries are provided for you during your stay. The dome is located in Sam Houston National Forest on a beautiful ranchette of almost 8 acres. On the ranchette you’ll be able to see chickens, turkeys (seasonal), goats, pigs, rabbits, and a garden near the home as well as livestock grazing in the pastures. Wildlife is present in the forest, so there are some food restrictions inside the dome to keep you safe. (See “rules to keep in mind”) A pathway that is clear during the day and perfectly lit for your convenience at night takes you directly to a fully equipped outdoor kitchen. There, you will have access to a BBQ pit, an outdoor pavilion, pool, hot tub, and pool house. If you’d like to have some fun, games like corn hole, oversized connect-four, chess, checkers, tic-tac-toe, hop-scotch, water volleyball, and horseshoes for you to enjoy. If you’d like to relax, kick back in a hammock and take a nap in the fresh breeze. The fire pit is open to all guests! Feel free to make s’mores, hot dogs, burgers, or whatever you’d like! Perfect escape from city life & yet only 30 minutes away from Houston. Guests stay at the "Back House" which has 5 bedrooms, 3 Full Baths, huge game room, full kitchen, full gym, washer/dryer, a newly added outdoor kitchen w/ fridge, sink and island. Cable & Roku, Outdoor TVs by pool, personal sauna, foosball and ping pong! The house is 2-stories with extra-wide wooden stairs. There are two AC units & thermostats, one per floor. There is a whole-house filter for clean water and a reverse osmosis for the best drinking water. We also recently added a water softening system. We have a room with NO windows for those of you, like me, who like the room extra DARK. We also need a minimum 48 hour notice to heat the pool as it literally takes 24 hours or more to heat it. - The property is two houses connected with a breeze way, you will rent the "back house" as we call it. It's 3,400 SQ FT with a breakfast area, kitchen with refrigerator, electric stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, plates, cups, etc. Also on the first floor there is a huge game room, a full bathroom and the gym. On the second floor are located all the bedrooms, two full bathrooms, an office and the laundry area with washer and dryer, also we provide towels. When we have guests you are the only one to use the backyard, pool, hot tub, ping pong table and grill.
