Wooded glampground in Plantersville, TX. Fully furnished glamping canvas bell tents, with premier tents on platforms with electric (and Kuerig coffee pots and coffee!). Sleep 2 - 6 comfortably, depending on the size tent. Tents range in size from 10 - 16 feet.
New fully furnished cabins are available to rent too! Kitchens/kitchenettes, full bathrooms, etc - Big Tex, Lil' Tex and The Ren Shack, sleep 4 - 9 people each depending on the cabin size.
Glamping vintage trailers are available too, and are also fully furnished with electric, kitchens and bathrooms, and sleep 2-3 people each.
Or bring your own small to mid-size RV, tent, or car/truck/van and pick a cool cleared or primitive site of your choice, camp anywhere. We also have 3 electric 30 Amp hookup available.
The camp is surrounded by farms and ranches, wineries offering music options (one is dog friendly!). Lake Conroe is 20 minutes to the east.
Amenities include a cowboy pool, courtyard seating and camp fire pit, hot showers, bathrooms (currently port-a-potties), fiber wifi, and a potable water/filling station/wash station.
We are in the customer service business, meaning we make it easy to camp (and celebrate!) with our beautiful 4-season canvas glamp tents and glamp vintage trailers. Just drive up to your tent and get ready to relax. All tents are fully furnished with made beds and critical supplies, and have picnic tables, chairs around the fire rings, firewood, and charcoal grills. Our premier platform tents also have electric, heat, Keurig coffee pots, coffee and more! Vintage trailers have everything you need as well inside and out. Reservations are available on both Hipcamp and Airbnb. We even offer to decorate for you in advance for special celebration occasions.

Beautiful views from every vantage with a high field on one half of the property and a low bottom land near the creek where there are many options for a relaxing, private stay. The property borders a small creek and has abundant trees, and wildlife. Beautiful views from every vantage with a high field on one half of the property and a low bottom land near the creek where there are many options for a relaxing, private stay. Chose big sky or a more secluded spot. Incredible wildflowers on display in the spring. The property is not bordered by close neighbors or dense housing, just more land so sunsets and rises are wonderful and open. Low ambient light pollution at night means the stars are very bright (and so are the fireflies)!
Guests are required to communicate estimated time of arrival well in advance. When arriving, make sure to meet Aaron or a designate at the red gate before entering further into the property. If tent camping, please do not bring glass containers, also you must pack out all garbage and waste. • Respectful Conduct: All licensees and their guests must treat other licensees, park staff, and park property with respect. Disruptive, offensive, or illegal behavior is strictly prohibited and will result in license revocation, with or without prior warning, depending on the severity.

Good amount of property available to give my dog a walk on leash. He enjoyed all the new smells. Many friendly chickens. A very enjoyable time. Would recommend to all.

I recently had the pleasure of spending a weekend at Outpost 203, renting the Vintage Camper, and I can't recommend this experience enough! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the charming retro design of the camper, which offered a cozy and inviting atmosphere.
The camper was well-equipped with all the essentials, making it easy to relax and truly enjoy our time in nature. Waking up surrounded by the sounds of the forest was a refreshing change from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The nearby hiking trails and beautiful scenery provided endless opportunities for exploration and adventure.
In the evenings, we gathered around the campfire, sharing stories and roasting marshmallows, all while soaking in the stunning starlit sky. The sense of community at Outpost 203 was evident, with fellow campers sharing tips and experiences, adding to the overall charm of our stay.

I’m so glad I found this spot! We were in Conroe for a two day event over the weekend and this was perfect for our needs. Nice level concrete pads, plus hookups and there is even a washer/dryer available (we didn’t need it for our short stay). Jeanna and her husband greeted us on arrival and showed us where to go - very friendly and helpful people! Jeanna was very good with communication leading up to our visit. The area is very quiet and peaceful and there are some nice trees that provide some shade. I will definitely stay here again the next time we’re in the area for another event!

They had a miniature putt-putt course, a bounce area, playground, swimming pool, fishing pier and more! A few of us even enjoyed kayaking together on the water. (Kayaks cost extra to rent). It felt peaceful yet fun, with plenty of activities to keep everyone happy. We would definitely come back and highly recommend it to other families looking for a relaxing, activity-filled getaway!

My family really enjoyed The Retreat. We had 8 people in our group and stayed in one of the cabins. It was a tight squeeze but we made it work. We really liked the pool and other amenities that were provided. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We bothered them a lot with towel, toilet paper, and trash bag requests. There was wifi in the clubhouse and in the cabins. You can rent golf carts to drive around in and cabanas around the pool. My only complaint is that the only shade around the pool was the cabana, and the Texas sun is not forgiving. All together, it was a great stay and we would definitely return.
