The camp is surrounded by farms and ranches, wineries offering music options (one is dog friendly!). Lake Conroe is 20 minutes to the east.

We are in the customer service business, meaning we make it easy to camp (and celebrate!) with our beautiful 4-season canvas glamp tents and glamp vintage trailers. Just drive up to your tent and get ready to relax. All tents are fully furnished with made beds and critical supplies, and have picnic tables, chairs around the fire rings, firewood, and charcoal grills. Our premier platform tents also have electric, heat, Keurig coffee pots, coffee and more! Vintage trailers have everything you need as well inside and out. We stayed for 3 nights and had an amazing time! The property was perfect for a family trip — clean, beautiful, and full of activities for everyone.
They had a miniature putt-putt course, a bounce area, playground, swimming pool, fishing pier and more! A few of us even enjoyed kayaking together on the water. (Kayaks cost extra to rent). It felt peaceful yet fun, with plenty of activities to keep everyone happy. We would definitely come back and highly recommend it to other families looking for a relaxing, activity-filled getaway!

My family really enjoyed The Retreat. We had 8 people in our group and stayed in one of the cabins. It was a tight squeeze but we made it work. We really liked the pool and other amenities that were provided. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We bothered them a lot with towel, toilet paper, and trash bag requests. There was wifi in the clubhouse and in the cabins. You can rent golf carts to drive around in and cabanas around the pool. My only complaint is that the only shade around the pool was the cabana, and the Texas sun is not forgiving. All together, it was a great stay and we would definitely return.

I am a 58 year old woman and stayed in the cabin alone for 3 nights. I loved my time there. Terry provided everything one would need for a stay including coffee, creamer and sugar! . But, he also went above and beyond paying attention to the smallest of details to create an amazing experience including leaving a walking stick by the door as there is direct access to the Lone Star Trail. I enjoyed a fire in the pit including the wood and starter. Terry checked in with me twice to make sure I had everything I needed. The cabin is spotless and beautiful adding to the vacation experience. I can’t wait to go back and bring my grandkids! Thank you Terry
