French Connection Wines is right next door and the renowned William Chris Vineyards is just 1 mile away. Our property features a shared, covered outdoor patio with a games court for corn hole, checkers, and bocce (checkers, boards and balls provided), gas fire pit, and a gas grill for those cooler nights. The patio is lighted with cafe lights. One of the RV slips is covered, while the other is nestled under a charming burr oak tree. On-site, we also offer a rental cabin. The covered RV slip is equipped with 30 and 50 amps, the other hookup is 50 amp, both have their own water and clean out connections. Both RV slips are on grass/dirt, and the entrance/exit is grass and dirt. *****IF IT RAINS heavily while you are here, please use the paved driveway to exit the property as you may get stuck in the grass at the big double gate.***** Our property uses rain water recapture. Please conserve water when you can when cooking, washing up and cleaning. No washing of cars or RVs is allowed. Please note that there might be other guests staying on the property during your visit. Kindly be considerate of noise levels and how it may impact the experience of fellow guests. You may also be sharing amenities such as the grill, deck, outdoor kitchen, and games court. We welcome dogs, but it is your responsibility to manage their interactions with other guests' pets. Due to potential gaps or larger openings in the fencing, we recommend keeping your dog on a leash. This place is like an entire homey camping neighborhood renting out the entire camping neighborhood experience. The grounds were beautiful, the staff was so friendly and helpful, and it's situated right near tons of river activities. I stayed in a tiny home with my 5 year old, but we're trying the teepees next time!

Weekend Trip to Magical Lakefront Retreat Property

Wonderfully relaxing. It's a short drive from Austin, but you feel miles away. The minute we stepped foot on Travis's land, we felt calm and content. The blue loft was clean, fun, and funky. Kiddo took the loft bed since my creaky knees couldn't handle the ladder. The downstairs futon is good for sleeping, so we both had our own spaces. The AC was wonderfully cool which was necessary in the heat of the summer. Mornings and evenings were cool in the shade. It was nice to pick one of the various picnic spots scattered about to have breakfast tacos and coffee and in the morning. We brought our paddleboards, but it was much too windy to go on an adventure. Instead, we tied them up to the floating boathouse and and watched a few boats and jet skis having fun while rotating from swimming about to floating with the waves. The covered deck of the floating boathouse it so nice and shady and the perfect spot to get out of the sun for a bit. We had dinner at some of the awesome places that Travis recommended-- The Lighthouse on the Lake & Angel's Ice House. While out & about we got breakfast and snack supplies. All good. It was the perfect getaway!

This place was wonderful! So cute and comfortable with lots of amenities on site. The star-gazing is insane here! We also enjoyed the sauna and a dip in the cowboy pool. Close to fun attractions for outdoor adventures. Great coffee in town at Central Provisions in Center Point. We'd love to come back sometime!

I stayed in the Lindavista Cabin and the pictures don't do it justice. The inside of the cabin is completely styled in luxury country chic. You'll find a giant LCD television in the living area, stainless steel appliances, lcd-enabled mirrors in the two full bathrooms with wraparound glass showers (one on each floor), a huge two-person jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom upstairs, remote controlled air conditioners and fans on each floor, a private balcony off of the master bathroom, and a fully enclosed sunroom off the master bedroom that could also be used as an additional bedroom for more guests. Even the kitchen faucet has an LED light that shines from the water to let you know whether the water is hot or cold. There's a comfortable little porch at the door of the cabin, and I was visited by an entire group of 9 or 10 adorable goats a couple of times each day! The cabins on this property are spaced pretty close together, but the owners did an excellent job of arranging them so that the cabins do not directly look into each other, a relief since there are no curtains in any of the many windows of this cabin. There was a small hiccup on check-in time (Hipcamp said 2pm but the owners told me 3pm not long before I arrived), but otherwise I couldn't have asked for a more relaxing, peaceful, and luxurious stay.

I loved this cabin. The view of the river from the patio was amazing and the jacuzzi, you could look up at all of the stars. The kitchen is nice. They have a very nice toaster oven, bbq grill, but no stove top (just a heads up)! The cabin was very clean. The location is perfect. It is very close to Fredericksburg and Enchanted Rock! My dog even got to join in on the adventure.

This was an awesome experience for our young grandchildren. They learned so much about the animals and loved their first ever horse ride. There was a nice playground, hills and rocks. Things we don’t have at home. I would definitely do it again.

Private hot tub for two is perfect for watching the wild life walk by and stare at the stars at night.

The property is gorgeous. There is a ton of stuff to do in the area. We had a wonderful experience and we're looking forward to going back. Communication was awesome, and I would not hesitate to rebook. The only regret is not staying long enough.
