Our 'campground/farmette' is about 2 acres (inside the city limits!), on a creek, kind of woodsy, and next to a pretty vast parkland greenbelt.

Recent flooding made quite a mess but it's still pleasant here. 

Several friendly and permanent residents and farm animals.

Creek-side private campground hideaway available. This is a CAMPGROUND: NO RV, ROOM, BED, INVOLVED - BRING A TENT AND GEAR FOR COMFORT (check my other listings for an RV stay). This a "want to camp" campground and not a living solution. If you "need to camp" due to financial or other reasons, Camp EZ will likely not be a good fit for you. 6 nights maximum stay. Not suitable for very young children. Please include your child in your count. Campfires in designated area only with permission (burn ban sometimes). Bring firewood.

Community vibe 'round here; everyone is expected to be quiet and respectful of one another and clean up after themselves "leave no trace" style. Six night  maximum stay.

Bring a tent and gear needed to be comfortable. 2 private hot outdoor showers, rustic kitchen and 2 charming flush restrooms included. Wood fired sauna available. Visitors are expected to clean up after themselves especially in the kitchen, showers, restroom and, of course, your campsite. Trash and recycle containers are around or, better yet, pack it out!  Campfires in designated area only with permission (burn ban sometimes). Bring firewood. 

We are a 2 acre community on a secret and secluded little street 5 miles due South of the capitol of TX and even closer (2.5) to the very hip SoCo area (Continental Club, Jo's Coffee, Guero's Taco Bar, El Mercado and lots more). I have 3 cats, 11 chickens,  2 little donkeys and sweet 4 mini goats here at my little and funky 'farmette' right on Williamson Creek (sometimes flowing and not really swimmable) and next to a huge wooded greenbelt with a quiet and unused nature trail. This is not a KOA or a state park. This is a home hostel/campground. It's kind of rustic and we like it that way. You may see a roach, ant or cricket and you may also see a deer, fox or coyote. We are busy and not always able to visit for long. Lots of remodeling and flood related cleanup chaos here but also lots of pretty and secluded nature. Short walk to bus stop and historic Sagebrush HonkyTonk and Austin Bergstrom Airport is 9 easy highway miles away. Rustic outdoor shower/kitchen/privy. BYOTent. No wild or excessive partying here please and please remember: no smoking. WE NOW HAVE A COVERED PING-PONG PLAYING AREA AND BADMINTON TOO!​

Street parking. Camping is a very short walk from parking lot. We have carts to tote your gear if needed.  Sorry, this campground is not set up to be able to park next to your site. We do not supply towels, toiletries, tents or bedding. 

Camp fire in designated fire pits only with approval. BYO Firewood. NO GENERATORS OR RECORDED MUSIC. Quiet time: 9PM-9AM. Please be mindful and respectful of your neighbors.

This property has been a store, restaurant, bar, and now a place for folks to rest a while and enjoy the hill country and all it has to offer. There is a bar b q trailer and a store down the street for your convenience.

Kimbro Store Retreat

Prior to 2005, no one had ever used this land for a home. I moved a house that was the general store in Coupland in the 1920s and remodeled it, then added a barn, also repurposed from a barn I took down for a neighbor. A few years ago I added a third structure, using materials from the Kimbro general store, built in 1920, from half mile away. I installed a rainwater system and composting septic in 2005 which is working great. Everything here I built myself, so if something goes wrong I can fix it quick. Often people say it looks like this place has been here forever!Learn more about this land:Just 20 miles from downtown yet in the middle of nowhere, this peaceful spot is surrounded by open land with farms and animals. We have a creek with small trees allowing for a very secluded experience.The Kimbro Store Retreat is home to my massage and healing practice. All buildings are reused from 80 years ago, so there is a timeless feel to it. We have cows, donkeys, cats and a rescue putty pup. You can set up close to the house or out in the woods.

The April 8, 2024, Solar Eclipse was an AMAZING Experience with OVER 200 Guests on the Ranch to View the Eclipse!  Everything went Extremely WELL Without A Hitch!  Thank You Dave for bringing your 4 Telescopes and Screen to View the Eclipse!  Several others brought their Telescopes and Fancy Cameras!  Thank all of you who shared your Telescopes!

The Ranch has OPENED UP More Camping Roads to make more room for More Tent Camping!  Used allot of them during the Solar Eclipse!  Bill and Kaz are already Working on improving MORE Campsites after the Eclipse!  Opening these New Campsite Roads has also OPENED UP More to Explore! Kaz will be ADDING More Pictures of Latest Goings On on the Ranch!

ALL CAMPFIRES MUST BE DROWNED OUT!  WATER is Provided and you are EXPECTED to DROWN OUT Your FIRES!  And if Bottles Used REFILL Them! 

FREE Firewood is Provided.  Oak Wood for Cooking and Cedar wood for Campfire ambiance!  Keep Campfires LOW!  NO Bonfire! 

All TENT Camping is Primitive!  NO Facilities!  RUSTIC!  

BRING a Potty and Tent or SHOVEL and BURY it!

ALL Campsites are VERY CLEAN and Keep It Clean!

FOR RVers We have ALL HOOKUPS for Water, Electrical, and Sewer! On WEST Side.  EAST Side has Electrical and Water ONLY, to Use DUMP Station, Working on More Sewer Hookups in Future.  Unless LARGE CROWD, Most of the Time the West Side is Available for RV Camping!

NO Throwing Rocks in Lake because hurts your feet when walking on bottom!

We are ASKING Everyone to HELP Take Rocks OUT OF LAKE!  FOR SAFETY ON YOUR FEET!  If Everyone Takes Out 6 Rocks No Matter the SIZE that will HELP RID of the ROCKS Out of the Lake!  Of Course You Can Take More Rocks OUT!  "KNOCK YOURSELF OUT" (LOL)  PUT ROCKS STACKED IN A PILE ON NORTH END OF LAKE and Bill and Kaz will pickup the Pile.  (Thank You in Advance!)  NO MUDDING with 4X4 Vehicles because leaves BIG Ruts in the Mud and messes up the Lake Environment!  Keep the Lake area beautiful!

Kaz always had a DREAM to help kids with Life Skills & Mentor in God’s Principles because she had Christian Mentors growing up! They were always there for her through her life and kept her focused down the right path and stayed out of trouble and learned a tremendous amount from them! Bill her husband supports her and they raised 7 children together and have 10 grandkids. Kaz father was Asperger's Autistic and from 5 years old started showing Kaz hands on learning skills that are still instilled in her today! She found this to be a Valuable Lesson from her Dad. These methods and skills through the years working with her own children and other children through the years with different organizations confirm to be very beneficial and encouraging for the children growing up. Bill and Kaz have shared equally through all they’re projects during they’re 40 years of marriage. They’re Jack Of All Trades, Artists, Shown in Art Shows, Remodeled Homes, Churches, Work on the Ranch Together, and  Etc. They are able to teach others how to do things that can benefit kids till they graduate and have a better understanding of what they want to do in their lives as an adult and PLUS have the mentoring to guide them through life. 

The Ranch has its main Mission to work with youth but is open to Renting the Ranch House that Sleeps 1 to 20 guests, and RV/5th Wheeled Campers Camp Sites and Tent Camping for them to Enjoy the Marvels that God has Created and Lot's to Experience, Explore, and Observe!

The Ranch is PERFECT for Hosting: Weddings, Special Events, Retreats, Family Reunions, Youth Activities, Church Activities, Boy/Girl Scouts, Boys/Girls Club, RV Camper Clubs, and Etc. to accommodate whatever you need for the special essentials you would like to have provided for your special event!

The Fishers of Men Ranch (Name) is Biblical and was Given to Kaz by the Lord 4 years before finding the Ranch.  You see that the Lord had something Special here for Bill and Kaz to do for others Long Before they purchased the Ranch the LORD had His PLAN for Bill and Kaz.  They have owned the Ranch since, July 2016.

Round Mountain Ranch

I have only been the "custodian" of this lovely slice of Texas Hill Country for the past five years. Prior to that the property had been unoccupied for many years except for the wildlife that continue to call this place home. Several decades ago, before the land was subdivided, a huge earthen pond was constructed, and it, as well as a vast number of trees and other vegetation, helps create a wonderful habitat for us, our guests, and all creatures large and small.

Obsessed with these trees and the way the airstream and deck are nestled inside them. It gives you a real sense of privacy.
