This was a really chill spot. The open meadow is beautiful with plenty of healthy green grass for you to set up a nice comfortable camp in June. I also liked how there’s a pool available to cool off which i thought was a nice bonus especially if you bring a date! Brian was super cool and took the time to show me around which was really nice. I got lucky and had the entire place to myself during my camp and that was a nice bonus too. The meadow campground is pretty much wide open so you’ll see other campers in view if they are camping in the same area as you just fyi. The creek is nice but there is no water flow so i would reserve your swimming for the pool only. From what I understand the meadow campground is also available for music festivals and events alike. I had a very chill relaxing camp with no highway noise and sometimes that’s what camp is all about. Simply just being outside and relaxing listening to the birds sing. Thanks Brian for hosting

We stayed here while visiting Texas for our friend’s Air Force graduation—it’s about 45 minutes from the base. The views were amazing and the whole area felt peaceful and private, perfect for anyone who prefers space over crowded campgrounds. Cows roam freely around the property, which was really cool to see—just watch your step for cow patties! 😆 The gravel road to the site is a bit steep and rough, so we were definitely glad to have four-wheel drive. We travel with two dogs, and the owners were super considerate—they kept their own dog in a separate yard during our stay. That made things much easier and more relaxing for us. We didn’t get a chance to try out the swimming hole, but it looked absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a peaceful, RV stay with a Texas hill country vibe!

What an incredible find! During the hot Texas summer, having a place to swim while camping is a must—and this spot delivered in every way. We’re always on the lookout for peaceful, private getaways that aren’t overcrowded, and this place checked all the boxes. Getting to our RV spot was no issue, and the hookups made everything super convenient. Our 21-foot trailer fit perfectly and was easy to maneuver. Despite there being others on the property, the layout ensured plenty of privacy and a calm, relaxing atmosphere. The real highlight? The swimming hole—it was absolutely perfect! Even our pup, who uses a wheelchair, had a blast swimming and cooling off. It was heartwarming to see him enjoy it so much. One of my favorite parts was watching the baby cows roam and play. I even got the chance to feed them treats—such a special experience! We loved every minute and can’t wait to come back!

Our stay at Hillside Live Oak Grove was incredible. William was such a kind and helpful host super communicative, always quick to respond, and made us feel very welcome. The property itself is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. Our campsite was private, quiet, and felt far from everything, perfect for disconnecting and enjoying nature. There’s also a great fire ring where we made a lovely campfire under the stars 🔥🌌 We’d 100% recommend this spot to anyone looking for a calm and scenic place to camp. We truly loved it and can’t wait to come back!

My wife and I loved camping on John’s land. We stayed at site 3 which is nicely shaded and close to an outhouse. It’s quiet and peaceful. It’s a little over a hour south of Austin. There are disc golf baskets around the property, which we took full advantage of. For anyone who is planning on visiting San Marcos to go to The Flying Armadillo Disc Golf course- John’s property is minutes away. John is incredibly responsive, helpful, and mindful of his guest’s experience. We’ll certainly be back for more camping adventures.

It's so quiet out here and there is pretty much always a breeze, so even in summer it's nice. You have full run of the 6 acres on the North side of the road (the hill). There is another 16 acres on the South side of the road that is open during business hours. Down a 1/4 mile driveway is a large shop where we run our business and build cabins & tiny homes. We can give you a tour and fill any water containers you have. At the bottom of the property is a creek bed. Lots of hiking options and opportunities to see road runners, jack rabbits and deer. Occasionally there is a fox.

Come stay at Bird Haus Farms! We offer a secluded RV site with stunning views on several acres, away from our four short-term rentals. While the container pool is no longer available, there's a beautiful swimming hole just a short walk from the site (waiver required). Extra swimmers are $20 each. Bird Haus Farms is centrally located in the Texas Hill Country—just 30 minutes from San Antonio, 25 minutes from New Braunfels and Boerne, and 60 minutes from Fredericksburg. A Walmart and HEB are just across the highway, with Guadalupe State Park only 15 minutes away. We're also a quick 3-minute drive from Guadalupe Canoe Livery for river tubing and kayaking! About 15 minutes to tube rentals to float the river in San Marcos. The San Marcos outlet malls are a shower trip. An approximate 30 minute trip to Wimberly, TX wineries. There are wildflowers all over the property; especially in the spring time. We have seen deer grazing on the property and some travelers have found fossils and arrowheads (no guarantees of course). A 30-amp electric hookup is conveniently located on the side of the house, with water access available from the rear. While sewer hookups are not available, we are happy to discuss nearby options for dumping gray and black tanks. During your stay, we'll be residing in the house but will respect your privacy while remaining available to assist with anything you might need. There’s even a "catio" in the backyard, where you might catch a glimpse of our shy and elusive cats! We’re pet-friendly and welcome your furry companions but kindly ask that you clean up after them. East Austin City RV Spot near River

This RV spot offers the perfect blend of proximity to Austin's vibrant attractions, nature and the comfort of a cozy neighborhood setting. Situated on the side of my house, the site is 95' long. 38' of which is along my house. The width between the house and fence is 18 feet. This should fit any RV with 2 slides being open. As of March 2025, I have my RV parked in back. It still leaves 60+ feet for YOU! Your RV will overlap alongside the house; unless you prefer to be in the back, then we can discuss moving my RV. The entire lot is fenced in, granting guests(and pets) full use of the pool and yard. Enjoy privacy with no neighbors in the back and an 8' side fence where your RV will be parked. The lot is a city sized lot, less than 1/5 acre, but HipCamp won't let me put in less than 1 acre. Pictures show my white/red retro RV as well as other RV's and how they have fit with and without my RV. Backing in is best. You may find maneuvering backwards a bit challenging due to the angle from the street through the front gate and my house overhang. It can be done...it just may take a village! :o) There's plenty of room to tandem park a towed vehicle in front of your RV(fenced in too!), and both 50amp and 30amp electric hookups are located on the back side of my house near the water hookup. (NOTE: Hipcamp will not let me notate in the fields that I have a 50amp AND a 30amp, thus I have 2 sites listed. I have had 2 RV guests stay at same time, but will not book that unless I get the ok from all parties.) LIVE sewer hookup isn't available because my clean-out is in the front of the house. Dumping can be done on the way out or with a portable tank. Nestled in a charming, gentrifying neighborhood, expect the pleasant hum of city sounds (not overly loud) and glimpses of starlit skies. During your stay, I'll be residing in the house with my sociable dog, Toby. We'll be respectful of your privacy but available for any assistance you may need. Toby loves company, including other dogs, and has even been around cats with proper introductions. Feel free to reach out with any questions or to arrange a booking! Please note, hot tub in the pictures has died. RIP.

Bring your own tent, small rv or camper to the beautiful hill country. Roads have been graded recently. Pitch your tent or park your small camper trailer/rv next to the Guadalupe River. Small Lake with Lily Pads and fishing.  Kayak, canoe and paddle boats on location for rent or bring your own. Running water and Electricity are not available at this time. Area is surrounded by cedar, mesquite, cypress oak and a small field. Creek bed that feeds lake. Many types of birds, butterflies and spiders to observe. Deer, fox and turkey have been seen. Grocery Store and dump station is a few miles down road. Community area near water allows access for water vessels.  Public boat ramp near by on next property.   Experienced Motor cycle Groups welcome.  Site 4 is currently under construction for a sail boat shelter. Great fishing and kayaking river access on location. Sites 1,2,3, will have a table and fire ring with flat surface.   Sites 5 and 6 are in the sticks and setting is raw land with no grooming. This is not the Ritz! This is raw land with no electricity and no running water. There are torches and solar lights at three sites. Seclusion, privacy, and peace can be found here.

(YES RATTLERS and COPPERHEADS - April - November).  With 10 potential sites to choose from, campers select preferred camping spot desire based on availability. Each campsite is unique. Hilltop location requires 4x4 transportation. For all campsites, there are rocks and brush located thru out the property, caution required driving low clearance vehicles.
