French Connection Wines is right next door and the renowned William Chris Vineyards is just 1 mile away. Not to be missed is the Garrison Brother's Bourbon Distillery, less than a mile down the street – you could even walk to all three! Our property features a shared, covered outdoor patio with a games court for corn hole, checkers, and bocce (checkers, boards and balls provided), gas fire pit, and a gas grill for those cooler nights. The patio is lighted with cafe lights. One of the RV slips is covered, while the other is nestled under a charming burr oak tree. On-site, we also offer a rental cabin. The covered RV slip is equipped with 30 and 50 amps, the other hookup is 50 amp, both have their own water and clean out connections. Both RV slips are on grass/dirt, and the entrance/exit is grass and dirt. *****IF IT RAINS heavily while you are here, please use the paved driveway to exit the property as you may get stuck in the grass at the big double gate.***** Our property uses rain water recapture. Please conserve water when you can when cooking, washing up and cleaning. No washing of cars or RVs is allowed. Please note that there might be other guests staying on the property during your visit. Kindly be considerate of noise levels and how it may impact the experience of fellow guests. You may also be sharing amenities such as the grill, deck, outdoor kitchen, and games court. We welcome dogs, but it is your responsibility to manage their interactions with other guests' pets. Due to potential gaps or larger openings in the fencing, we recommend keeping your dog on a leash. Weekend Trip to White House Winery/Brewery

Great location inside the gates of White House Winery/ Brewery. The camping spot is on the east side of the property with the tasting room on one side, a pasture with cows behind and grape vines to the east. The water and electric hook up worked great for our camper. There is a public restroom a few yards away that was available to us even after the winery closed which was convenient. After hours we had the outdoor areas to ourself but we mostly stayed in campsite area. Brandon, the owner, was very kind and helpful. We dont drink much but we did do a wine tasting and sampled a few of the beers which my husband really loved. I bought a chilled bottle of rose' to enjoy later. The location was great with easy access to Johnson City where there is an Ace Hardware and restaurants as well as a longer drive to Fredericksburg which is an amazing German Texas town with all you might need including a WalMart if you forgot a prescription or need camping supplies. Of course winery are abundant. We will be back.

We enjoyed the quietness and the ability to see the stars at night. This a great spot for those looking to enjoy their wine tasing experience as this is in the heart of all the wineries. Bonus point for the less than a mile proximity to Garrison Brothers. Take note that the water hookup is about 10- 15 yards behind the spot towards the right side. Luckily we had two hoses to connect.

Beautiful property, well-appointed with a nice set up for RVers. The horses were very friendly and curious and our little ones enjoyed petting them. Unfortunately it was raining so we didn't get to take full advantage of the fire pit, but it was well-stocked and in a location where you could admire all the beauty around, but also far enough from the RV so anyone who went to sleep early wouldn't be disturbed by voices around the fire. Would definitely stay here again!

Weekend Trip to Homestead Farm

Camping on the Homestead Farm was perfect. Our hosts were communicative, accommodating, and friendly. We loved sitting by the fire pit listening to the horses near by in their corral and looking up at the stars. There are several great places nearby for art, food, and a cocktail or craft beer. We spent the day in Wimberley on Saturday and caught a show at the Devils Backbone Tavern that night. To have all of these things so close AND full hookups was perfect. The only downfall is that we don't want to tell anybody about this hidden gem so we can come back often. Lloyd continues to improve the site so we cant wait to see how it progresses in the coming years. 10 out of 10!
