Unique glamping experience, beautifully located with exceptional peace a quite. Facilities are clean, and kept to high standards. Nearby Llano is a welcoming city with historical attractions, also several of the Texas State Parks that are unique and worth visiting. Star gazing was amazing! A definite repeat!

We absolutely loved the dome! It was so private and serene. Beautiful views of the sunset in the evening and deer passing by in the morning. The dome itself was clean, well designed, and well appointed (down to the airfryer and adjustable desk with a monitor!). The bed was really comfortable with no shortage of linens and the A/C was nice an powerful! It was a very short drive from Llano, close to Enchanted Rock, and just far enough from Austin to feel like a true getaway. Hands-down an amazing experience!

Lost horizon was a great experience for us. I’m in my 40’s and we enjoy camping but I am not into communal living or multiple units close together. This offered the seclusion we wanted and a fair price. You will need a 4x4 vehicle or at least a full size suv to get down the last stretch of road to the sites. Everything else is just as noted on the site and within the website for the property. Don’t hesitate to book!

We had a wonderful time staying at Lost Horizon with our two pups! We enjoyed the quiet and serene surroundings, saw mule deer and antelopes, and felt 100% rejuvenated and recharged. We enjoyed our time at this spot. Leah was very hospitable and quick to answer any questions. Each camping spot is secluded and quiet with some nice waterfalls to explore. The water is clear enough to see the fish swimming around and you’re not very far from town if you forget supplies. The bathhouse is great to have on site after a long day. Will definitely return!
