Granbury Wine Walk and Winter Wine Walk in the Historic Granbury Square. Walking through the park and the square is just magical at Christmastime. Easy Like a Sunday Morning is nestled just outside the city limits of Granbury, Texas (approximately 3 miles from Granbury Historic square) @ a private residence just outside the city limits. New laundry facility down the road, dump station @ Thorp Springs RV park (20 dollars), Davids Grocery store and Dollar General, all only .03 miles away. This is not really a vacation destination but more a safe place to stay coming to town to explore all Granbury has to offer or a place to catch your breathe while traveling on the road.
Friends have enjoyed escaping here for years. I decided to share the zen. It's a bit rough around the edges but if the new venture succeeds it will only get better each time you visit. Patio with a view of Lake Granbury and surrounding valley of at least 3 counties.

Come stay on our 100 acre Richard Creek Valley getaway, gently tucked away on the north slope. There are four campsites on the property and they are all at least 150 yards away from each other. Each site is private. When the ground is dry there is access for all vehicles. When the ground is muddy, Brookside, RiverRock, and Richardson Creek campsites require a 4-wheel drive and have alternate routes to get to them. Ancient Oaks is an all-weather site. You can enjoy hiking and swimming in Richardson Creek when water levels permit. Canoeing from Bakers Crossing put-in which is only 3 miles away.

Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique place. A cozy, private, camp, half a mile down a gravel/dirt road, set up on the Brazos River across from Rock Creek. Off the beaten path, but just about 10 miles off I20. RV spot and tent sites available at Riverside. Also 1 fully furnished camper for rent, and additional RV/tents spots, across the street at Creekside. We are almost never full and have plenty of space. Kayak rental and tube/shuttle available for additional fee. You could even rent the whole campground! Brazos Rock Camp Kayak web-site has more info. *electric access at the pole on the back left of the property, and water/dump station access and Bathhouse are across the field at Creekside. Pets must be preapproved and entered as guests for occupancy purposes. Please see rules in photos.

Beautiful setting with great views and fishing. Unfortunately a cold and windy front came through our second day so we hunkered down the majority of our stay. Host was very accommodating and attentive without being at all intrusive. Even took our 5 yr old around with us on his side by side to introduce us to his burros! We will definitely be back during warmer weather.

Our trip to Gypsy Moon was great! Me and my family of 5 camped at Fox Hollow and we enjoyed everything about our stay. We have 3 kids and the campsite was close to the river but not right on the water so we had some peace of mind. Amy was a very attentive host who would periodically check-in with us and made sure we were taken care of. My family enjoyed all of the different animals around the property, especially Sage the cat and the herds of goats that would randomly stroll through our campsite. The fresh duck eggs were a nice optional bonus to enjoy in the morning!
I’d say my only let down was the fact that the bait shop no longer existed as I’d have shopped for bait beforehand. Nonetheless Amy was open to helping us dig up some worms. She really was an amazing host.
My kids have already mentioned several times how they look forward to visiting Gypsy Moon again! See y'all soon!

Weekend Trip to The Tailgate Ranch
We love everything. The camper was small but cozy and got everything we needed. We were impressed by the bathe style, it was really cool and again it got everything we needed. The whole place was really clean and quiet. Really good for a weekend getaway. We enjoyed the bed truck for stargazing. The location is awesome, 15 mins from meridian state park which was also a nice place. Julia was so nice and responsive. She responded to my message quickly and answered all my questions.

Amy's farm was an excellent spot to camp next to the Brazos river. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The farm animals were fun to watch in the morning... MANY roosters.

I had a great time at the little off lake house with my dog. There was plenty of room for him to run and explore off leash. The lake and the boat were amazing too. Lots of privacy, but the host checked in on me to make sure I had everything I needed! The house itself did indeed have everything you could want. Thanks Kellie and Lindell for a great weekend and I hope to come back soon!

I met Shane when I arrived..took me on a little tour. Very natural and rustic. The two dogs I met are very friendly and sweet. They come say hello and go on their merry way. It was just what I needed, quiet in the middle of a very quick paced community. Shane's a Rockstar. He even brought me a picnic table he and a friend had made. Made me feel like royalty. Thanks for everything Shane.

Great quick getaway! All the animals were so cute, Ms Amy was very welcoming. She helped us navigate to the proper entrance and led us to our campsite. We added on wood for our stay and she brought it over to us quickly. The bathrooms were a short walk from our site. We would definitely visit again.

We had a wonderful stay at Friends in RV Spaces, definitelyexcellent value for money. Even though we were travelling in a campervan without hookups, the site had everything we needed. The facilities were clean and well maintained, and the WiFi near the little red building was fast and reliable. After spending time in the big cities of Texas, it was such a refreshing change to relax in a peaceful, green space with dark night skies and true country quiet.
Sam greeted us on arrival and was very welcoming. He showed us around the farm and was interesting to chat with. If you’re looking for a safe, quiet, and friendly place to stay near Fort Worth, we’d highly recommend it.

LOVED it here very nice get away from the city waking up right next to the river was amazing clear sky for good views of the stars so kind of them to have showers as well definitely elevated the stay as well as seeing all of their animals 5 stars and will definitely be back

Loved it! The place is very welcoming and I loved how secluded each camp spot was. I really had my own space to do my own thing. They also have firewood! Only $10! I car camped and would’ve definitely preferred to bring a tent but I’ll save that for next time! I will most likely be back.

Don’t be put off by the bumpy road to the property. It’s a lovely riverside (creekside ) location. It was quiet, and we were provided with water, sewer hookup and 30 amp electric. We had some questions and they were answered promptly.
Great place for star gazing. We heard owls at night and lots of birdlife during the day. Possibly coyotes or foxes at night down by the creek. 😊.
We spent a few hours at the nearby Mineral Springs Fossil Park and found some great fossils! Worth the trip.
We are traveling from Maine to California and this campsite was a nice spot to relax for a few days. It’s rural but worth the effort to get there.

Had a wonderful last minute visit camping with my two dogs and cat. The location was easy to get to and on site directions were straightforward and accurate. Conveniently located about 30mins outside of Weatherford. Hosts were friendly and helpful. All the primitive sites were labeled and each has a picnic table and fire ring. Sites are spaced out similar to what you would see at a state park. We stayed at “the point” right on the river bank. It was beautiful and had access to the water. I saw another review about neighbors lights and dogs bark; I am going to assume they stayed in the same site as us because it’s the farthest back on Gypsy moon also making it the closest to the neighboring rv park. I did notice the lights but you could easily reposition to avoid them and the dogs barked when we first got there and were setting up but then settled. Neither bothered us nor are these things in control of the hosts. Shower and bathroom in good working condition. Lots of chickens, geese and goats out near the rvs but none wandered over to primitive camping. Didn’t go in or inquire about bait shop so nothing to review but did see firewood for sale. Overall very good value for the price and I will gladly return if I’m in the area again.

We loved tent camping on Amy's land! Everyone very kind and the area is beautiful and relaxing we had a wonderful time fishing and just being outdoors in nature. It reminded me of childhood spent on my grandparents farm. With all the goats, chickens and ducks etc.

Amy's place is always a welcome reprieve from the world. Situated on a nice piece of property along the river, it is a very chill vibe. If you are tent camping, I recommend the Far Far Away site. This is my second time here, and it's apparent that continued improvements have been made. She did have to shut down the honor system store because.... well, people suck. And I hate that for Amy, because she is such a sweet lady. But I understand the decision.
If you come here, please be kind, respectful, and pick up any trash you see from previous campers.
