Guest access When you arrive at our house you will park in our circle driveway and walk through the double green gates down the hill to the glampsite. (To the left past the house) The road is slippery/steep so please use the steps. Backpack recommended for easier up and down! You can roll a cooler down the (steep) road! Two tents have one queen bed and two have two queen beds. We provide two air mattresses to sleep total 16!! There are AC units in each of the tents to keep cool at night. Our common areas include 2 showers, 2 toilets, 1 extra large sink area connected to the bathrooms, 1 grills and 4 large picnic tables, a bar and coffee station, a fire pit, hammocks and swings. This space is perfect for any family celebration, reunion, birthday party, ect! It is tucked away at the bottom of the property so you get the space to yourself. Guest access When you arrive at our house you will park in our circle driveway and walk through the double green gates down the hill to the glampsite. (To the left past the house) The road is slippery/steep so please use the steps. Backpack recommended for easier up and down! You can roll a cooler down the (steep) road! We really enjoyed our stay! Just a few notes for future guests: the yurts are located in the owners’ backyard, so there isn’t a ton of privacy, and the bathroom doors don’t fully close since they don’t lock. The property has lots of fun animals, which adds to the charm, though a few did get out during our visit (a chicken, the dog, and even the pig) — a little stressful since we had our own dogs with us, but admittedly, waking up to a rogue pig was pretty thrilling. Last note, the heater in yurt 4 doesn’t work. 7/10

We had such a wonderful time. Our hosts greeted us for a short intro to the place which was nice. I got some pointers on how to use a French Coffee press (you'll see) and we got the lay of the land. There are walking trails, a community fire pit (there are only 4 yurts), a pavilion with Corn Hole type games and a hot tub (didn't try it out). It was extremely peaceful and calm. A great place to forget about things for a couple of days. Also, Bastrop has a nice downtown area. We ate at Neighbors (?) downtown and enjoyed sitting on the patio by the river.

Before I could get out of the truck to unlock the door, my husband is yelling from inside the fence, “Babe! I love this place!” And we hadn’t even stepped inside to see all of the thought and effort that was put into the cabin. They have everything you could possibly think of. The only thing not in the cabin is an oven, unless I absolutely missed it. Two loft queen size beds with the master bed being a king size. A shower indoor and outdoor. A desk workspace. Every space so well used up. The hot tub was soooooo nice with the out door games! My husband and I own a CPA Firm and needed the little two night getaway to simply relax! I highly recommend Eder’s Property for any future stays. It is family friendly, but it’s more on the romantic side and nice to walk around naked if you wish because the whole housing is private fenced. I know we will be back for certain! Joe and Misty

First thing first, since this is about getaway, this place is not too far from the city, but definitely gets you out from the city. In the middle of nature, you can see deers, lizards, ducks, and lot more. The place is very cute and my wife and I loved being here for 2 nights. In the evenings, Edison string lights create a relaxed ambiance. Inside, find the comforts of a hotel room inside the safari tent. Plunge into a peaceful night’s sleep in the cozy king-sized bed with comfy bedding and linens. An additional full-sized air mattress is available for extra guests. The living space also includes a sitting area and the conveniences of a counter-height refrigerator (with freezer shelf), microwave, and coffeemaker. A standing telescope and tripod provide an opportunity to explore the endless night sky, free of light pollution far away from the city. Color-changing interior mood lighting can be controlled via remote. Your attached, personal bathroom includes a marble-top double sink vanity, toilet, and a private clawfoot tub and attached shower. Enjoy the plush set of towels. Since we have developed a carefully placed water and septic system in an intimate and remote retreat, we ask that our guests help us preserve the environment by moderating use of water.
