There is road noise. Highway 29 can be busy at times, despite being a two-lane road. Quiet hours are after 10 pm Sunday - Thursday and midnight Friday and Saturday.
Access to our river site is included in your camping fee. This secluded hike-to (~ 1-2 minute walk) site is peaceful with limestone cliff views and no visible homes or signs of civilization. The trail head is accessed by a dirt road that winds around our corn field and into the woods, and can be accessed by any vehicle in normal weather conditions. We will provide warning/refunds if the river road becomes 4x4 only. Fishing is allowed with a valid Texas fishing license. There is no overnight camping on the San Gabriel River. All camping is at the main farm area and campers are able to come and go from the river site as they please (day or night!).

Kaz always had a DREAM to help kids with Life Skills & Mentor in God’s Principles because she had Christian Mentors growing up! They were always there for her through her life and kept her focused down the right path and stayed out of trouble and learned a tremendous amount from them! Bill her husband supports her and they raised 7 children together and have 10 grandkids. Kaz father was Asperger's Autistic and from 5 years old started showing Kaz hands on learning skills that are still instilled in her today! She found this to be a Valuable Lesson from her Dad. These methods and skills through the years working with her own children and other children through the years with different organizations confirm to be very beneficial and encouraging for the children growing up. Bill and Kaz have shared equally through all they’re projects during they’re 40 years of marriage. They’re Jack Of All Trades, Artists, Shown in Art Shows, Remodeled Homes, Churches, Work on the Ranch Together, and Etc. They are able to teach others how to do things that can benefit kids till they graduate and have a better understanding of what they want to do in their lives as an adult and PLUS have the mentoring to guide them through life.

Access to our river site is included in your camping fee. This secluded hike-to (~ 1-2 minute walk) site is peaceful with limestone cliff views and no visible homes or signs of civilization. The trail head is accessed by a dirt road that winds around our corn field and into the woods, and can be accessed by any vehicle in normal weather conditions. We will provide warning/refunds if the river road becomes 4x4 only. Fishing is allowed with a valid Texas fishing license. There is no overnight camping on the San Gabriel River. All camping is at the main farm area and campers are able to come and go from the river site as they please (day or night!).

Kaz always had a DREAM to help kids with Life Skills & Mentor in God’s Principles because she had Christian Mentors growing up! They were always there for her through her life and kept her focused down the right path and stayed out of trouble and learned a tremendous amount from them! Bill her husband supports her and they raised 7 children together and have 10 grandkids. Kaz father was Asperger's Autistic and from 5 years old started showing Kaz hands on learning skills that are still instilled in her today! She found this to be a Valuable Lesson from her Dad. These methods and skills through the years working with her own children and other children through the years with different organizations confirm to be very beneficial and encouraging for the children growing up. Bill and Kaz have shared equally through all they’re projects during they’re 40 years of marriage. They’re Jack Of All Trades, Artists, Shown in Art Shows, Remodeled Homes, Churches, Work on the Ranch Together, and Etc. They are able to teach others how to do things that can benefit kids till they graduate and have a better understanding of what they want to do in their lives as an adult and PLUS have the mentoring to guide them through life.

We booked this stay last minute, and the owner was incredibly accommodating from the start. After running into unexpected car trouble, we didn’t arrive until midnight — and he still came out to show us the site without hesitation. That level of kindness and hospitality truly meant a lot to us.
The property itself was peaceful and quiet. We were the only campers there, which made it feel even more relaxing and private. No one bothered us, and we were able to fully unwind and enjoy our time.
We had an amazing experience and will absolutely be back. Highly recommend!

We took the family out to P-Squared Farm for an overnight camping trip and had an awesome time. The property is beautiful — about 30 acres near Georgetown with river access, so there's plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the outdoors.
The staff was super friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. My girls absolutely loved riding the horses — that was the highlight of the trip for them. It's those kinds of experiences you can't really plan for; they just light up.
If you're looking for a laid-back family camping spot close to Austin, this is a great pick. We'll definitely be back.

I will say what I always say, Momma Nature never disappoints while I'm there 😊 Being from WNY from the shores of Lake Ontario, we have all sorts of critters, yes, but this is a whole new ball game in TX and I love every moment taking it all in. Although "my private oasis" is less than 20 mins away, I feel like I've found my new outdoor home here. There are amenities such as a bath house and a dumpster. Yes, a dumpster is a great amenity when you're used to dispersed camping. Very quiet, but mustn't mind a train every so often. I don't mind at all! It's like nostalgia of our country's coming into time. Armadillos are a common site. What a site they are 😁 Till I return....

Bed is super comfortable, camping cookware provided, electricity and unlimited firewood is a huge plus! This has been one of my favorite HipCamps I've ever stayed at. The host provided many things at the site that were very thoughtful, such as a hammer for tent stakes, and a small grill in addition to a portable firepit. I went with a friend, and we had a girl's campout with our 9 year old daughters, and everybody had a great time! Would highly recommend the Mother Tree site, which even with no leaves on the tree in the winter months that I visited, is an incredibly awe-inspiring site of a 700+ year old pecan tree. The tent area was flat, and the river was incredibly soothing to listen to at night. If you're thinking of booking it, go for it! I'll definitely go again.

Bill and Kaz were super amazing hosts. So nice and I was able to talk with them for quite some time about their future plans for the property. They are incredibly welcoming to all campers but especially the overland community, sharing the philosophy of leaving thing’s better than you found it. Protecting nature so that it can be enjoyed for years and years. The campsites are nestled in the trees but provide some stunning views of the hills and the sunset. So quiet and peaceful. My campsite was equipped with a table, chairs, a fire ring and plenty of wood. One of my new favorite camping destinations. I highly recommend this spot. Give it a try, You won’t be sorry.
