Enjoy a weekend getaway on this 7.6 acres primitive land. Sunsets and star gazing are amazing here. Bring your tent and setup in 2 different camp areas or wherever you prefer. Fires are permitted in the fire pits that are provided in two different areas of the land. Our land is divided in the middle where you are able to park. Bikes and atvs are welcome, there are trails for walking, a small hill by the pond that you can easily hike and open areas where atvs can fit all around the perimeter of the property. If an area isn’t open don’t attempt to use for your own safety. You can gather firewood from branches or trees that are laying around the property. Please do not cut or harm any trees. Because this is a primitive camping site there is no water or electricity. Make sure you bring your own drinking water or water for any personal use. Compost Bathrooms will have some water for showering but if this runs out you will have to provide your own, these bathrooms are covered with 3 walls but are pretty private a few feet away from the campsites. There is a pond towards the back of the property. This is collected rain water and it just sits there, there are small fishes in there but we suggest no swimming as it can have bacteria. We usually walk around it with rain boots. By the pond you will be able to see lots of beautiful birds while relaxing in the various chairs provided as well as a swing. Trash bins are not provided so please carry out your trash. Please help us to maintain our land clean. Since there is so many acres we are still in the process of cleaning out what the other owners left behind. We do have neighbors so please be mindful. Cows also roam around the property but are separated by a fence but you do hear them once in a while and sometimes you can see them up close. These cows do not belong to us so please let them be. A train passes near by too so keep that in mind. Any other questions you may have feel free to message me and I will respond as soon as possible. There is phone reception in this area so you don’t have to worry about losing cellphone service. *if you are bringing any pets keep in mind that if you wish to keep them off leash we are not responsible for any harm. Learn more about this land: The Rock Pit is a 5 acre swimming hole located in Trinity County that has been there over 50 years. Long ago they had dug out an area on a hill for rock on the dirt roads, and hit and underground water table. There are no fish in the Rock Pit, as the pH is 4.5, so no fish will live in it. I recall swimming there as a small boy, and wanted to share my memories with others. Depth ranges all over, but the deep end is around 15 feet. I have 5 kayaks currently, but bring yours if you have them, along with your vests. There is fishing in Lake Livingston, my place is north of it. There is access to Lake Livingston via White Rock Creek. A public boat ramp in on Highway 94, just outside Trinity. Or you can go back towards Trinity, to highway 357 and go to a ramp closer to the big lake. Tall pine tress, a few Oaks, and maple trees surround the place. Bring your mosquito repellant, as you are in the country! The place is raw right now, but I am planning improvements such as a few A frame cabins, a showering area and so on. So many things to do! Tired of the city ordinances that restricted raising fouls, I decided to look for an acreage that is not too far nor too close to the city and which allowed the raising of farm animals. As of this writing, we have 2 beautiful heifers, 18 sheep, and colorful giant kois in the pond that once in a while can be seen when they swim near the surface. We built a log cabin in the 17-acre property in preparation for downsizing when the boys go to to college. But when our neighbors had to move back to England, they sold us their house and 11-acre land. With the cabin on the 17-acre now vacant, we decided to open it for camping (on the land) or renting out the log cabin after building the 2-acre pond. Learn more about this land: Stay in the log cabin, or pitch a tent. Enjoy stargazing, or just enjoy the peace and quiet of the property. Pick wild grapes or wild blackberries (when in season) or spring wildflowers. Kayak or canoe in the pond. Bring your fishing gear and bait. Cabin use is free, but these are STRICT RULES. 1. No pets please, not even emotional support animals of any kind due to allergy in the family (we use the cabin when not booked). 2. No smoking inside the cabin 3. Do not use the bathroom towels for kitchen purposes or to wipe off dirt 4. Please no outdoor footwear indoors, but you are welcome to wear clean indoor footwear. Violation will result in forfeiture of the entire deposit 5. Cars MUST be parked on the rocked section, thus walking is necessary from this point. This is a 2-3 minute walk. The driveway might be dry but, no vehicles will be allowed past the rocked section due to unpredictability of weather. If it rains, vehicles will get stuck in the pasture. 6. Never leave food - solid or liquid - where ants can find them or you will cause them to infest the house including your bed! They can do so faster than you can imagine. 7. Please do not bring more people than officially booked, or we will cancel the reservation. No refund. We also close the gate once you have checked in to prevent the animals from escaping. 8. The moisture content can cause shrinkage or expansion of the ground, which can lead to leveling issues to the cabin. So please be aware that doors may or may not open or close smoothly.

Also, the lake cabin is the only guest accommodation on the ranch, making it a true get away.The lake cabin at B2 Ranch is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom cabin overlooking a 3 acre spring fed lake. The newly furnished cabin includes a king size bed, a pullout sofa, refrigerator with small freezer, microwave, tv with dvd player (no cable or satellite), and coffee maker with coffee. Linens, towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner are also included. A fire pit with cooking grill is located just outside the cabin as well as a charcoal grill. It does not include a stove or oven.As part of your stay at B2 Ranch, you have access to 2 kayaks, a canoe and flat bottom boat along with paddles and life jackets. The lakes on the ranch are stocked with bass and open for fishing.When staying at B2 Ranch you are free to explore and roam the ranch. There are miles of roads and trails where you can see an abundance of wildlife. Guests have access to the 1600+ acre ranch for most of the year. 22.5 acre property that we are building out RV and glamping spots at. Currently, under minor construction with water and electric available only in one location. So tent camping would be on your own and primative. You can fill up water and wash up type stuff with current water availabilty. You can charge things if necessary or if you bring yourself a 100ft extension cord you can have a powered tent spot within 100ft. The property is pretty cool actually, has a creek running through the entire property, plenty of dead wood for campfires (responsable fires). The property is inside of a gated community sometimes the gate is open with construction crews and sometimes it is closed and will need a code. The community that the property is inside of all of the lots are 20+ Acres each and there are not a ton of people that have actually moved out there yet. Keep in mind this is a developing Ranch Community so the roads are a bit JACKED UP at the moment to be honest, if you have a low slung car or a really nice car this spot may not be for you, SUV's Trucks, hell even Minivans probably will be just fine. There are tons of wild animals on the property from boars, deer, coyote, snakes, rabbits, turtles, big predator birds, and 2 mountain lions/cougars have been spotted on game cameras throughout the community. The entire community is over 10,000 acres.

Baker's Cabin is a rare property - a remote cabin on 6 acres, shared with no one but the night sky. Baker's Cabin is in the country. Located about 25 minutes from Centerville, it makes for an easy weekend getaway from the Houston or Dallas areas. We had a wonderful stay at Stewart’s Cove in Cabin 3! Gene was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the cabin itself was clean and comfortable with great water pressure and a beautiful view. We loved being able to catch fish right from the pier and truly enjoyed every moment. We’re already planning to return — this time bringing our whole family!

Paula is so sweet and accommodating, very quick to return calls and messages. The site has its own style of charm and feels very private and secluded. The dock is big and we had one of the best star gazing nights ever. Really big sky! The road noise is the only negative which I read in other posts. It seemed like background noise to me but kept others awake. Overall We had a great time. Thanks Paula!

Excellent camping spots offering privacy and convenience. We set up camp near the pond, which has lovely views and multiple great spots for tents. The toilet were near the camp sites, but far enough away to offer privacy. The dogs absolutely loved being off leash and running around the pond. There is a little bit of traffic noise, but overall a wonderful stay.

So fun! We rented out the talking trees site. Perfect for my dog who hates a leash but also hates to listen 😆 he was able to be free in our campsite and the pond/island is a new favorite for my boys. There's lots to explore and the property is beautiful and peaceful. Todd is a great host, kind, communicative, helpful, but we still felt like we had our own space. Overall the site feels safe, I fully plan to go back and my boys (ages 4 and 7) said they wanna go back 100 times forever lol

We enjoyed our time on Paula’s land! The Golden Hour was beautiful by the pond, with almost 180 degrees view of sunset. We chose to tent camp right by the pond. My boys got to fish and we saw quite a few critters - frogs, turtles, and a few snakes. You can hear the highway, but it wasn’t an issue for us. The main campsite was beautiful too, but we liked having close access to the pond. Our dog is use to off leash, so this was perfect for him. Paula’s neighbor has dogs, but our dog doesn’t wander away from us so we did not have any issues with that. My kids loved the hammock swing. I loved having a fire pit for grilling and Dutch oven cooking. The dock was perfect for stargazing at night. Paula was helpful and made us feel very welcome!
