Weekend Trip to Great Escapes Bryan/College Station

This is without a doubt one epic and chill place! Love the cabin and the atmosphere! People are super friendly, accommodations are clean, cool, and very comfortable. This is our new go to for staying when visiting!

Beautiful weekend in nature with hiking, happy farm animals, camping shenanigans. There’s an outdoor sink, potable water, and a regular toilet. There’s a very nice communal area with picnic seating/kitchen that’s lit by night with cute string lighting. My favorite part was the walk in the woods down to the river where we met the 600-800 year old pecan Mother Tree. Then at the river we waded, the doggies swam and everyone took a nap in the sun. We all love animals dearly, and i surprised the group with the mini-horse grooming. Snickerdoodle was looking so cute after we brushed out her hair!

The property was so beautiful! After raining all week, we showed up to a perfect river site. Our dogs loved the water and sleeping next to the horses and sheep. We camped with a large group of (14 people total) and everyone had plenty of room to spread out and get comfortable.

Had a great time! Under the mother tree site is beautifully tucked away in the forest with the river nearby. We loved watching the horses and trail riders pass through. Plenty of room for two tents. 10/10 would camp here again!

I had such a wonderful time out on this ranch! Mikayla and her partner were so cool, personable, and welcoming. I did the farm tour, horseback riding, and camped under the Mother tree. I had my small dog with me and she did so well in the presene of the farm animals. :)

We camped here on a cross country bike trip. Nice to be able to set up a tent and be so close to town. We didn’t have the chance to meet Sonya but David was very kind and welcoming to us.

We loved our stay under the Mother Tree! The spot was perfect, close to the river but plenty of trees to block some of the crazy wind we had during our stay. Makayla and Jason were wonderful and showed us around the farm. They let my kindergartner ride a horse around the field by himself and he had a blast! Pulling up to the site we were a little lost on where to go but quickly found our spot. A little signage might help future guest but the spot was clean and was exactly what we needed. I'll be back!

We had the best time at P2 Farm for spring break! From the moment we arrived, MaKayla made us feel welcome, and it was clear how much care by what they put into making this a great experience for us. My granddaughters loved visiting the pigs and painting the goats. One of our absolute favorite moments was our last-minute snuggle session with Sheepy. She was so sweet - she just followed us along. Definitely a special treat to play with her. The family horseback ride to the river was another amazing experience, and we loved soaking in the beautiful trail - especially the huge tree! MaKayla had fun extras like a soccer field, flashlights to play tag, and 2 giant glowing kickballs balls that kept us busy. The space was neat, well-kept, and clearly evolving. You can tell the hosts are passionate about helping people make connections with nature and the animals. This is my second time there (my husband and I did their farm date night) and I can tell that the hosts are constantly working to improve the farm. It was really neat to do farm chores as a family and get to experience a working farm. We left with full hearts and can’t wait to go back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was a nice spot with lots of open spaces, both up by the RV site and down by the river. We were close to Bastrop State Park and downtown Bastrop for shopping and restaurants. The new pad sites overlooked the river below. Please note that there are electrical hookups at the pads but water and sewer are by the front entrance of the property.

Our working horse farm offers an authentic rural experience unlike any other, with stunning sunsets that paint the Texas sky each evening. Our farm is home to a delightful variety of animals, including horses, donkeys, goats, pigs and our friendly farm cats and dogs. Our camping sites offer the chance to really dive into nature with access to beautiful trees and the san gabriel river. Book a trail ride or animal experience during your stay to get the full working farm experience. Restroom facilities with flushable toilets are conveniently located on the property. Well water is available from the sink located near the bathroom. Portable fire ring is provided. Please remember, for the safety and comfort of our animals and guests, unsupervised interactions with our animals are not permitted. All animal interactions must be scheduled and supervised by our experienced staff. Also please remember that while our farm is a total of 30 acres, only about 1/3 of that is available for open use by campers, the rest house our beautiful horses and other animals.
