Los Trece Texas

3 sites · RVs13 acres · Early, TX
Take a step back in time to the late 1800's, and be a legend at the Old West town of Los Trece. Located just outside Early, Texas in Brown County, Los Trece was founded by a famous local artist/welder and his wife for their close friends and family. Originally built on a thirteen acre lavender field, they never dreamed it would evolve into a first class destination with gunfighter reenactments, live music, amazing food, and hand-crafted cocktails. Whether you are coming for the day to walk the streets and visit with the Legends of Iron Gunfighters, enjoy a cold beer or margarita while watching your favorite game in the Ironwood Cantina, a date night of dancing or karaoke in the Forge Saloon, or bringing the whole family for the weekend, there is no shortage of fun, wild west things to do.

Comanche Oaks Ranch

2 sites · RVs, Tents78 acres · Mullin, TX
Learn more about this land:Hipcampers can expect to see one of the darkest skies in Central Texas, located far enough away from Austin and Dallas light pollution to clearly see the Milky Way on a cloudless night. Drive carefully on the dirt roads leading to the ranch; as deer are plentiful all around the property. Wildlife viewing is exceptional, with a wide range of animals typical of the rolling hills of Central Texas Hillcountry. The property has patches of open meadows speckled with hundreds of large, beautiful heritage trees including Live Oaks, Red Oaks, Cedar Elms, and Pecans. There are two small ponds on the property, with plenty of frogs and typical aquatic species providing a natural soundscape at night. Feel free to explore the site on foot or vehicles, but please keep vehicles only on existing dirt roads (no off-roading allowed). Feel free to use the RV hookup at the green metal building, and enjoy the stunning sunset views of the Texas Hillcountry from the elevated wooden deck connected to the building. The large propane grill (propane provided) on the wooden deck is also available for camper use. Campers can make a campfire in the designated fire pit only, and you must bring your own firewood. Campers may use the outdoor shower station, but you must bring your own water and mobile shower bag to hang from the hook at the top of the shower station.

Sun Festival Total Solar Eclipse

126 sites · Tents100 acres · Lometa, TX
THE SUN FESTIVAL 🌞🌞 SALES END WHEN WE HIT 2000 PEOPLE. This is a huge area, and it won't be overcrowded. EVERYONE IS WELCOME https://www.eventcreate.com/e/thesunfestival Leashed dogs are allowed EVERYWHERE 🐶🐕🐩🐕‍🦺 We have amazing sound and a hill that rises from the stage to create a natural amphitheater. The views from the hill are pure natural Hill County. I positioned the stage so the Sun would set 40 degrees to the West behind the stage. When the music is poppin the staggeringly beautiful sunset will provide the chorus. This event will not be oversold or overcrowded. As there are expected to be shortages of everything for days, I have made it my goal to make sure everyone has anything they might need on site. I have a semi-full of ice and the same in water coming. There will be plenty of food vendors. We placed the dry RV campers on the opposite side from the tent campers, so they won't hear any generators. There are bathrooms and showers on site, but I have added 25 porta potties. I have even scheduled to have them emptied at 3am so they would not encounter traffic. Festivals are about porta potties. Ours will be clean. There will be daiquiris and beer on site. Leashed dogs are allowed everywhere and I'm thinking of turning the fenced ball field into a dog park so they can run around. This is not a massive music festival. It will be laid back and safe. We are going to put a firepit in the rodeo arena for open music jams after the shows each night. We are in a dark sky area so relax by the fire and listen to some tunes or play along. Please have a great time. Till then I'll be the one stayin up nights with a notepad next to my bed worrying about details. Somebody has to. 😊 The SUN FESTIVAL MUSIC CAMPING AND VENDORS We have added some single day camping passes to the site. APRIL 5TH-9TH. 2024 We have amazing food and merchandise vendors for this festival. The music line-up is wonderful. The Hill Country location in the center of totality is perfect. Located in Lometa Texas near Lampasas. We are not going to overcrowd this event. 1hr & 1/2 from Austin We have limited day passes. Everything you need for 4 Days of camping will be on site.
