Wiseman Ridge is a boutique micro campground for RVs only, first opened in July of 2022. Our property adjoins the Blue Ridge Parkway in Linville Falls NC with easy access off NC 221. We offer 5 full hook up RV sites with views of Hawksbill, Table Rock and Humpback Mountains. Micro means we have only a handful of sites but that is where micro ends. Each site is expansive, with large areas to spread out and enjoy the views or play yard games. Unlike typical RV parks our sites are spread out on the ridge top and offer great views and lots of space.
Our campground offers a unique camping experience for the RV and outdoors enthusiast. All of our RV sites feature views of the surrounding peaks and have full hook ups with, water, septic and 30 or 50 amp power access, high speed wi-fi access at each site as well as a picnic table and in ground fire pits.
Wiseman Ridge provides the peace and quiet of nature at its finest, with easy direct access to the Blue Ridge Parkway by foot or by road. We are just a mile down the parkway from the entrance to the Linville Falls parking lot and picnic area, and 2 miles from Kistler Memorial Highway (Old NC 105) that provides access to the western rim of Linville Gorge and multiple trailheads.
Our campground is for conventional travel trailers and motorhomes only. We do not have bathroom or bathhouse facilities so we cannot allow campers that do not have a self contained bathroom that can hook up to a conventional RV sewer drain and no human waste is allowed in our trash receptacles.

There's also kayaking, tubing, white water rafting opportunities as well as zip lining and horseback riding. There is something for everyone to enjoy and we can't wait to share it with you!

We have a camera pointed at the entrance and one at the bath house door, which we can move around to make sure that when people check in they make it to the right spot since I manage remotely part of the year. We have regular yard maintenance, however, we are Country natural landscape, not parking lot type campground, so the grass is slightly higher in some small areas but truly those things are part of a sustainable and uniquely beautiful camping experience!

We had a wonderful stay at Ken and Lyn’s rv spot. They were very welcoming as well as all the neighbors nearby. The location was good for visiting local restaurants, trails and sightseeing. The golf course at Linville Land Harbor was in great shape and we had fun but it was challenging- would love to play it again! We camped in a 26’ travel trailer and we found it best to back up out of the site and then follow the road loop when exiting.

This was our second time enjoying a weekend at Wiseman Ridge. Site #1 is spacious and private with the most wonderful mountain views. We love the peace and quiet, and also Wiseman Ridge's proximity to the Linville Falls Visitor Center and hiking trails. The Linville Falls Winery is just around the corner too!

Our first trip to a 'regular' campground with a large number of sites and amenities. This one is in a wooded setting with lots of trees everywhere. The sites themselves are not very private but the many trees adds to the ambiance making it a better experience. About half the sites around us were not occupied which helped but there is a good amount of separation between the sites. We did not use any of the other amenities since we were exploring the parkway and other sites in the area but were impressed with what was available right in the campground. Road entering the complex was slightly difficult (narrow and rough in areas) but we didn't have any problems entering or leaving.

What an amazing stay with James at Safe Haven Farms. Me and my wife took the camper for a couple of nights to Safe Haven Farm. The spots were spaced nicely, the property was maintained, it was quiet and James was amazing and friendly. We immediately welcomed us when we arrived and we saw him several times throughout our stay. The bathhouse was clean and well taken care of. The pond was a nice surprise where we would go to catch some fish each afternoon. I appreciate the level of pride James takes in maintaining the property and taking care of his guests. We will definitely be back in the future.

Blue bear mountain was amazing and the host was so kind! The sites are very spread out. We stayed in C9, it’s tucked back in at the edge of the woods, and provided a ton of privacy. We loved the grounds, the facilities were great, and the hiking trails were incredible! You can hike 2 mountains on the property, the longest trail is close to 3 miles! Do yourself a favor and book. A little less than 20 mins to Boone, and about 10 min from Todd. You can see the milky way ✨🌟✨🌟✨

7 ft travel trailer
I don't usually stay in RV parks on Hipcamp but this one was an exception. Small park, clean well maintained sites, electric hookups, wi-fi, and a bathroom/showers. It perfectly met my needs with easy access to Brevard.
