Quarter Spring Farm is located in Liberty, TN on the western edge of the Cumberland Plateau. It comprises 63 acres of wooded ridges and hollows with exceptional hiking and distinct landscape features. Smith Fork Creek, which feeds Center Hill Lake, is visible from the campsite. Quarter Spring Farm’s history is murky and still being discovered. The house is over 100 years old. There are stone property walls that may predate the civil war. We believe this site was a Mississippian period settlement because of the large amount of artifacts we have found. Please note: there is no electricity at the dome. There will be a battery with a light and the option to charge your phone. There is no parking at the dome. The walk is uphill and takes about 5 minutes or so. This is still a tent, the dome is not insulated and is not 100% sealed. Bugs do get inside from time to time. I will also provide you with water for cleaning and at least a gallon to drink. Just let me know if you need more. If you can get here before it gets dark, that is the best. If you can’t, that’s ok, we’ll just be hiking in the dark. Luckily I know my way around pretty good.

My oldest son Ben, and I built this campsite in January of 2024, from both our visions, and tried to make it a truly magical setting. Ben was also featured in two episodes of Building Off The Grid, on the Discovery Channel, so he put quite a bit of expertise and knowledge into our site. I love hosting and decorating, so the interior of the tent is constantly changing. Also features cedar outhouse with composting toilet, cedar bridges built across rocks, as well as two chair hammock area, picnic table and gas grill. Firepit has natural log seating and several more folding chairs, pillows and outdoor blankets stored in waterproof chest. We will provide drinking water and extra water for washing up. We supply all linens and dishware needs. First Aid Kit is provided, but we are just a short walk through the woods if you need anything. THANK YOU TO ALL OUR PAST CUSTOMERS 😊##### We are closed for the season######## Brand name Bell 16 foot round tent built on sturdy cedar deck on top of a cluster of large limestone rocks in beautiful grove of mostly Maple and Oak trees. My oldest son Ben, and I built this campsite in January of 2024, from both our visions, and tried to make it a truly magical setting. Ben was also featured in two episodes of Building Off The Grid, on the Discovery Channel, so he put quite a bit of expertise and knowledge into our site. I love hosting and decorating, so the interior of the tent is constantly changing. Also features cedar outhouse with composting toilet, cedar bridges built across rocks, as well as two chair hammock area, picnic table and gas grill. Firepit has natural log seating and several more folding chairs, pillows and outdoor blankets stored in waterproof chest. Tent features a queen size bed, adult size folding cot stored under bed, adult size sleeping pad, 2 upholstered chairs set up as reading/relaxing nook, coffee maker, and Yeti battery pack for electrical and charging needs. We will provide drinking water and extra water for washing up. We supply all linens and dishware needs. First Aid Kit is provided, but we are just a short walk through the woods if you need anything. Nestled on 1 acre of our 10 acre hobby farm, which includes Peacocks, chickens, 4 cats, 5 Collies and a Weimaraner named Maggie, as well as a couple of goats, including a very friendly dwarf goat named Pickles. You may also see wildlife, such as deer and turkey, strolling down the meadow on the lower part of your site. Strands of lighting and battery candles provide a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere in the evenings. Coolers available if you need one. You can bring up to 2 extra tents for families looking for an out door experience . For additional fees we can provide you with firewood, fresh eggs, homemade breads, cookies, locally sourced honey, and ask us about some home cooked meals! We ask that you please close up all windows and doors when you check out😊

We build from the heart with blue prints and Deer Camp was a thought that started on the back of a receipt and grew into a 12x12 cozy cabin. We have 13 acres and we share with that Deer Camp. Only enough land has been cleared for structures so it's all wooded and every structure was built by us and is unique and one of a kind. We are all excited to offer an RV site to park a camper or pitch a tent if you want to bring a couple of friends. There is a separate charge for this. This site does offer electricity but water and the bathhouse are shared. This site is only offered to your group and there will never be campers in that space while you’re there.

We only stayed one night at the tent but loved every minute! Grant called before we arrived to give us directions to the site so we would be prepared when we arrived in the dark. Everything was easy to find, just as he said. The trampoline was more comfortable than we expected! Bring extra towels in case of condensation. The area under the trampoline was perfect for food prep and hanging out. Above all, the waterfall was BEAUTIFUL! The short “hike” from the tent to the falls was easy for us and our German Shepherd to navigate. We had a wonderful time- can’t wait to return!

Weekend Trip to Peaceful Haven Cabin

We loved it! The cabin is cozy and cute! Plenty of hiking onsite and friendly dogs/cats to keep you company! Helga was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed. She gave great local recommendations and even had fire wood ready for us on arrival! This was great because it had rained the day prior and we had dry wood! The hiking on her property is beautiful. Plenty of rock formations and views. Thank you for a great stay!

Weekend Trip to Beech Hollow Hideout

This was a camping trip I'll never forget. William was such a kind and hospitable man, his property was nothing short of breathtaking. This place was a great escape from 9-5 city life and I can't wait to return. Don't ignore other reviews about how steep the small trek up to the shack is! It's a short walk but very steep and uneven/rocky ground. Make sure you wear good shoes/boots! Rocket and Bo 🐕 we're the sweetest dogs and great company when they weren't busy chasing squirrels. I very much enjoyed the hike along an old logging road on Will's land, about 1.5 miles and took me less than an hour at a slow pace, saw deer tracks and the deer that left them about half-way through. It was such a beautiful and peaceful hike; I wish I looped back around to make longer! There were no mosquitoes or ticks to be seen but be prepared for lots of Chinese lady beetles (look like lady bugs but are very invasive and annoying!) And stink bugs, if you come in the fall or spring. The shack had bedding, an amazing wood stove, cooking/art supplies, books and much more. Again, Will was so gracious and hospital. He checked in on me by msg in the mornings, showed me around his woodworking studio and informed me about his property and animals. His artwork is truly something else, the man is a real artist and beautiful soul. I bought a cutting board and Will picked me some greens from his garden before I left. I would highly recommend staying here and can't wait to return myself!

This campsite was a peaceful gem tucked around a quiet pond, offering a great sense of privacy with only a few neighboring sites. The gravel pad was flat and dry, making setup easy and comfortable. Having firewood available was super convenient—though it was a bit damp from being stored under a tarp, it still saved the hassle of bringing our own. The outhouse was impressively clean, but the door could use a little adjustment since it only opened a quarter turn. The host Randy was responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which made everything run smoothly. The real highlight was the fishing! The pond was full of life, and I caught a massive 20" largemouth bass—definitely a memorable moment. I released it so someone else can enjoy the thrill too. Whether you're here to relax, fish, or just enjoy a quiet night under the stars, this site delivers. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a laid-back, nature-filled escape.

Loved staying at Randy’s spot! The location is beautiful, especially in the fall. The trees are gorgeous this time of year. I did some fishing in the lake on property, with plenty of success, which is always a plus. The peddle boats were such much fun to use! Sites included bathrooms and plenty of firewood, which made the experience even more enjoyable! Randy was super responsive about any questions I had. Overall, I had an amazing time, I and the property was everything I could have wanted for a nice getaway. Will be back soon!
