Campsite #1, "Valley View" is a Rv with 30 amp electric with sewer and water or it can be a primitive campsite that is a wide open space and is approximately 1-2 acres with a beautiful view overlooking the valley below. We do have electric, sewer and water 340 gl tank with a hose, a picnic table and a fire ring at this site. if you'd prefer, you can locate a spot of your choosing off the beaten path anywhere within our 16 acres (ask the hostess for details). Located at the edge of the prarie on the main trail is a sunrise/sunset/bird-watching platform that is 20 feet in the air with a 2 stage bridge to access it. We updated the outdoor kitchen with a 3 burner propane stove, propane grill and hot running water with a 3 bay sink. Other cooking options include a tripod over the fire and a charcoal grill. A short 10-minute drive to fire tower rd. brings you to a 2 mile loop trail with 2 waterfalls, Upper and Lower Piney Falls. Ozone falls is just a 20 minute drive. Then toward Spring City is Stinging Fork Falls at 25 minutes. Black mountain is my new favorite place especially the south overlook! The Hiking possibilities are nearly endless and close. I'll highlight one thru hike here since both trailheads are only 20 minutes away and is easy to coordinate with only 2 vehicles. It's a 10.2 mile hike that can be done in either direction and has a little something for everyone including a cave, boulder field, cascade and waterfall. Then you have massive Watts Bar Lake which is only 20 minutes away with a plethora of activities including the excursions we offer! We look forward to hosting you!

It over 900 acres of private forested land on Whitwell Mountain, which is part of the Cumberland Plateau in Southeast Tennessee. 1 night at The Falls at Sewanee Creek

We only stayed one night at the tent but loved every minute! Grant called before we arrived to give us directions to the site so we would be prepared when we arrived in the dark. Everything was easy to find, just as he said. The trampoline was more comfortable than we expected! Bring extra towels in case of condensation. The area under the trampoline was perfect for food prep and hanging out. Above all, the waterfall was BEAUTIFUL! The short “hike” from the tent to the falls was easy for us and our German Shepherd to navigate. We had a wonderful time- can’t wait to return!

Stayed one night in the dry camping area. Easy place to get to. Wonderful sounds of owls hooting and coyotes howling through the night. Bring about 3-4 inch of leveling blocks since the ground is has a slope to it. Ground is more level towards the street but gets steeper as you get closer to the trees.

What an amazing campground this is! I chose a primitive tent site A1 and was so glad I did. The tent pad was perfect; mostly level. I was glad for the tiny slope, as it allowed all the rain to flow down from under my ground tarp and 3 season tent. I stayed 100% dry. The outhouses were very clean. And the update B bathhouse was heated and immaculate! I didn’t think I would use it/need it, but a warm shower after the cold rain was a treat. Staff was friendly, responsive, and helpful and informed about nearby trails. This is a place I look forward to returning to!!

Our stay at Belle and Beau Acres was absolutely perfect! We chose two reserve both of the hike in camping sites down by the river for extra privacy. As advertised, it’s a short hike in, but the trail is narrow and a bit steep—so plan accordingly. The effort is completely worth it, though. The sites are very private, nestled between two hills beside a gently flowing stream. The combination of privacy and the relaxing sound of the water made for an amazing atmosphere. The farm itself is in an ideal location. When you arrive, it feels like you’re deep in the countryside, yet you’re only about 15 minutes from downtown Cookeville for food or supplies. Plus, both Burgess Falls and Cummins Falls are just a short drive away—highly recommend visiting both! Christine and her husband were incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. I really appreciated how thorough they are and how they verify that all guests are registered—it adds a nice sense of safety and respect among everyone on the property. Everything about our trip was fantastic. We’ll definitely be back!
