Cabin is located 6 miles from I 75 Tennessee exit 49 about midway between Knoxville and Chattanooga. The cabin sleeps four. Bedding is provided for one double bed, one single bed, and a cot. Kitchen includes stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and basic cookware and utensils. Coffee, cooking oil, salt and pepper are stocked. We have plenty of room to park a trailer or turn around a boat you travel with. Several access sites on the Tennessee and Hiwassee Rivers are nearby. We build from the heart with blue prints and Deer Camp was a thought that started on the back of a receipt and grew into a 12x12 cozy cabin. We have 13 acres and we share with that Deer Camp. Only enough land has been cleared for structures so it's all wooded and every structure was built by us and is unique and one of a kind. We are all excited to offer an RV site to park a camper or pitch a tent if you want to bring a couple of friends. There is a separate charge for this. This site does offer electricity but water and the bathhouse are shared. This site is only offered to your group and there will never be campers in that space while you’re there.

I loved my experience at the little barn house! The cabin itself was very cute, and the atmosphere was peaceful for a solo trip to escape city life. Jon was fabulous and incredibly helpful when I was needing some support. It was fun to have some animals nearby too, though hunting season is real, so something to keep in mind. Overall I am super grateful for my experience and would recommend it for anyone looking for a little getaway.

Great little spot for a night away with my 16 year old daughter. I’m a city person so loved that this wasn’t too remote but still private. They have everything you need to cook and relax. The bath house is nice and unique. Really enjoyed our stay and will come for longer next time.

Overall, we really loved this cabin. There are a lot of cute touches with the art work and cat perches. It was well appointed for camping (glamping?) and had games, cooking pans, and lighter, etc. Cute and cozy.

Mitch and Lori took a lot of care in designing this place and it really shows.

Everything at this place was very clean and well thought out. We really enjoyed our time here. We both had high expectations coming into our stay because of the reviews but Deer Camp exceeded all of them! Truly the perfect middle ground of wanting to “stay in the outdoors” with all of the luxuries of a well done AirBNB. There are lots of hiking trails nearby which was nice too. We brought our dog and the hosts were even nice enough to have a treat bag waiting for him upon arrival. We only stayed for the weekend but I wish we booked for longer. Have already recommended to family and friends!
