Excellent staff at check-in. They gave great recommendations for dinner spots. The aqua lodge site was quiet and serene.

Beautiful property in the country. Everything was exactly as described. Quiet and peaceful. Her partner came out to help when I dropped my motorcycle and was kind and friendly. Beware that access to the group camping area and showers was slippery and a little steep by motorcycle after a rain but should be fine in an automobile (I was prewarned). I would stay there again.

Weekend Trip to Peaceful Haven Cabin

The place was great it was just me and my dog. Helga was great. About an hour to Nashville good state parks within 20 mins. It was great home base for checking out the Nashville area and enjoying the great outdoors.

Loved tent camping at this area. Easy and clear directions to get there. Great amenities like shower, bathroom, picnic table, chairs, and campfire. Very nice people.

Weekend Trip to Quarter Spring Farm

Had a great experience! Host was very accommodating and helpful. The stay was amazing, it got very cold at night but the wood stove kept us warm! 10/10 would recommend staying, very nice and peaceful!

We had a great time and it was the perfect location, the host was very helpful and replied quickly.

It is a lovely spot on top of a hill. I was glad I turned the driving over to my husband for getting up the very steep driveway. Michael was very responsive when we had trouble getting water. The problem was us not the system. It is a first come first served system. I feel the sites could have been better marked. We were very happy there.

Second time I was able to enjoy Michael’s place. Had a couple campers nearby but everyone was quiet and respectful. Would stay again. Will plan on another trip soon.

Weekend Trip to Quarter Spring Farm

Heather was an excellent host, making sure we had everything we needed before we camped. The site had a wonderful view all around, The dome was very homie and welcoming. We also decided to purchase the goat walk. I believe this is a must as you walk 30+ goats up to a pasture in the hills. Definitely a unique experience that I recommend to everyone.

Generally quiet in the immediate area, super clean and friendly staff. Constantly saw security present. Loved garbage pickup from site, super clean facilities.

7 nights at Wild Meadows atop Rutherford County

Super peaceful, excellent hosts - extremely helpful and accommodating. Lovely dogs as well!

4 nights at Camp Nashville Highland Rim

Great location, great views, and quiet. Would absolutely stay again, we stayed all week and worked in downtown and looked forward to getting back every night. We had no issues up or down the driveway but it could be intimidating for the faint of heart. Great host and very helpful.

The camp areas I saw were roomy and had flat areas for set up. There was a water/well available at the spot we camped at. Very quiet and peaceful. There was some old pieces of equipment and stuff around the area that could be a hazard to younger children. Campsite was up a steep hill and then down a little were we stayed. Stayed in march so foliage and trees not bloomed yet but can imagine would be very woodsy and beautiful.

Weekend Trip to Quarter Spring Farm

I had a few reservations after reading the last review, but I am SO GLAD I went with my gut that that last camper might have been complaining over nothing. Boy was I right! Heather was the best host and accommodated me from arrival to departure. She indeed asked if I had a headlamp and I did fail to bring one - she had several charged, ready for me to borrow. She helped me get my gear up to the dome, situated on top of this beautiful ridge and walked me through how everything functions. No surprises, as everything was as pictured and described on the website -- it was clean, cozy and cute! I don't "rough it" much and this was a great way for me to unplug, read some books without all the distractions, while still being comfortable & relaxed. All of the animals that I encountered were such a bonus experience, from Porkchop the pig, to the chickens to the goats and all the pups. At first I wished I could have taken my dog, but he would have been overwhelmed with all the critters, so I understand the no pet policy and totally respect it! Since I'm a novice "hipcamper," Heather made sure to go above and beyond to answer all my dumb questions and make sure I enjoyed my stay, educating me on so many aspects of farm & rural living. I wish she had more locations I could visit, but I'll be sure to come back here soon. What an incredible value for such a phenomenal experience!!!

Spectacular view. Definitely heed the host’s advice on using 4WD capable vehicle on gravel driveway. But the climb is worth it. Amazing opportunity to see sunrise.

Do not leave trash on property. Please read all details / rules, and share with family or group. Drive to camping location. First arrive / first choice of favorite of available spaces upon arrival. Spaces are not numbered or pre-assigned. Camping guests supply camping gear. No gear rental available. Amenities: 2 community water hydrants, community vault toilet, fire pit at each site. Firewood bundles available for additional fee on HipCamp or VENMO. Five gallon bucket equals a bundle. Firewood located in rack at top of hill. Return bucket if used to carry firewood. Outdoor hot water heater for shower Apr-Oct, after forecasted freezing temperatures. Kid friendly. No extra charge for children. (verify not charged for children if selected.) Camping location north of downtown Nashville on a ridge at a higher elevation overlooking Nashville. Camp away from noisy highways, convenient to I65 near multiple amenities, grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops . 5 miles from three I65 exits. 14 miles from I24. 18 miles from I40. 18 miles from Nashville downtown riverfront. Uber or Lyft to Nashville available. Check in & out times are flexible. Quiet hours after 10PM. If you're hanging out or arriving after 10PM.... keep it quiet for other guests. Pets permitted under owner supervision. Clean up after pets, and do not allow pets to interfere with other guests. Please be sure all guests know camping rules! Do Not Leave Trash!! Trash policy is carry in / carry out with you for disposal somewhere else. Trash service is not provided as part of camping fees. $50 trash disposal will be requested if trash left on property. Vault toilet works on a septic system and is not pumped. Only place toilet paper in toilet. Wipes, feminine products, excess tp should be placed in trash can outside vault toilet (only trash exception). Do not burn noncombustible items. materials or cigarettes in fire pits or leave trash in firepits. Only firewood or ashes should remain in firepit. Do not use knives, hatches, axes, saws on live trees. This will be considered damaging to property.

Quarter Spring Farm

Quarter Spring Farm is located in Liberty, TN on the western edge of the Cumberland Plateau. It comprises 63 acres of wooded ridges and hollows with exceptional hiking and distinct landscape features. Smith Fork Creek, which feeds Center Hill Lake, is visible from the campsite. Quarter Spring Farm’s history is murky and still being discovered. The house is over 100 years old. There are stone property walls that may predate the civil war. We believe this site was a Mississippian period settlement because of the large amount of artifacts we have found. Please note: there is no electricity at the dome. There will be a battery with a light and the option to charge your phone. There is no parking at the dome. The walk is uphill and takes about 5 minutes or so. This is still a tent, the dome is not insulated and is not 100% sealed. Bugs do get inside from time to time. I will also provide you with water for cleaning and at least a gallon to drink. Just let me know if you need more. If you can get here before it gets dark, that is the best. If you can’t, that’s ok, we’ll just be hiking in the dark. Luckily I know my way around pretty good.

Wild Meadows atop Rutherford County

25 years ago, we camped this spot and dreamed of building a house here. The view was so captivating. Needless to say, we’ve been here 20+yrs and still camping our land. Now we are sharing the beautiful landscape and remote feel that's so close to so much to see and do. We love where we are and we think you will too. Oh and I should also mention, you must love dogs. We have 3 plus 2 cats and chickens. Isolated or wide open. 1 tent or group camping. No electricity or water hookups. Free Access to water hose. We do not allow recreational motorized vehicles, firearms or bows. This is a peaceful serene getaway. We also have Airbnb rentals that consist of our home, that's also listed as "Wild Meadows atop Rutherford County", a travel trailer referred to as "Wildwood 17' Western RV. See trees, birds, lightning bugs and gorgeous views of Rutherford county. 5 min. from water. Swim, bike, fish, walk or run. Boating 15 min. from Percy priest lake. 10 min. from Cedars of Lebanon state park. 5 min. from Murfreesboro. 15 min. from downtown Murfreesboro. On the city square, there's live music first Friday every month. Fantastic farmers market sat mornings in the summer, starting in May. Checkout “Quarter Spring Farm” goat soap booth. Tell Heather hello for us. Her lemongrass and clove soap are my favorites. 30 min. from Nashville. 5 min. from Greenway walking trails. 20 min. from shopping. Hundreds of restaurants within a 20 min. radius. Championship soccer park 10 min.
