I love hosting and decorating, so the interior of the tent is constantly changing. Also features cedar outhouse with composting toilet, cedar bridges built across rocks, as well as two chair hammock area, picnic table and gas grill. Firepit has natural log seating and several more folding chairs, pillows and outdoor blankets stored in waterproof chest. Our new cabin will feature a queen size bed, adult size folding cot stored under bed, adult size sleeping pad, and a wicker day bed that can be used as couch or bed, coffee maker, and Yeti battery pack for electrical and charging needs. We will provide drinking water and extra water for washing up. We supply all linens and dishware needs. First Aid Kit is provided, but we are just a short walk through the woods if you need anything. Nestled on 1 acre of our 10 acre hobby farm, which includes Peacocks, chickens, 4 cats, 7 Collies and a Weimaraner named Maggie, including a very friendly dwarf goat named Pickles. You may also see wildlife, such as deer and turkey, strolling down the meadow on the lower part of your site. Strands of lighting and battery candles provide a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere in the evenings. Coolers available if you need one. You can bring up to 2 extra tents for families looking for an out door experience . We will also have tents available for rent for families. For additional fees we can provide you with firewood, fresh eggs, homemade breads, cookies, , and ask us about some home cooked meals! We ask that you please close up all windows and doors when you check out😊

Situated between two waterfalls and featuring over half a mile of river frontage to explore. Float, fish and relax listening to the cascading water. The TV is set up for streaming Netflix, Prime Video, etc. The outdoor space has a picnic table and a hammock for lounging. Guests are welcome to cook out on the gas grill and use the outdoor fire pit. S’mores, anyone? I hope you enjoy your tiny house experience. This charming, adorable tiny house sits on a 2-acre property behind a historic log cabin just outside of Nashville. After a full day of exploring Music City, guests can enjoy a relaxing and peaceful evening under the stars, away from the city noise. Perfect for a solo artistic retreat or a great getaway with your favorite person! It is a lovely and charming, albeit very tiny, experience, and I am excited to share it with you. Guests will sleep in a cozy loft with a comfortable full-size mattress (sleeps two). The daybed/sofa downstairs is just shy of a twin-size mattress and can sleep one person. The kitchen offers a mini fridge, microwave, hot plate, and convection toaster oven for preparing simple meals. I provide coffee, tea, and a few simple snacks. There is a French press for coffee and an electric kettle for boiling water. The bathroom has a small shower and toilet. Towels and toiletries are provided, and if there’s anything you forgot to pack for your trip, don’t hesitate to ask! Wi-Fi is available. The TV is set up for streaming Netflix, Prime Video, etc. The outdoor space has a picnic table and a hammock for lounging. Guests are welcome to cook out on the gas grill and use the outdoor fire pit. S’mores, anyone? I hope you enjoy your tiny house experience. It’s the perfect getaway for solo trips, friend trips, or a romantic weekend with your favorite person. If you are traveling with a sports rack on your vehicle, you are welcome to take the green kayaks out for the day (as long as they are secured and safely strapped to your vehicle). Guests have access to the backyard space, including the fire pit and gas grill. Please enjoy the hammock and outdoor picnic area. I do not live on-site but am available by phone if you need anything during your stay. Please be aware that the main cabin is also an active listing, and there may be other guests on the property. There’s also a cooler on the porch and a small bar top that doubles as a workspace with a view. You’re welcome to stroll the property, but please avoid the main residence’s deck, pool, and front yard. Fishing poles and tackle near the grill area are free to use—just return them after. Nestled in a Tennessee hardwood forest, this treehouse sits in a quiet hollow—just 20 minutes from the city, yet a world away. It’s not a tree fort, but a tiny house in the trees, perched above a spring-fed creek. Private and peaceful, all the windows face the forest, giving you the joy of childhood adventure with the comforts of home: toilet, A/C, electric fireplace, heater, and a three-season heated outdoor shower. The treehouse is located about 50 yards down a trail from the main house. Stone steps lead up the hillside to the porch entrance. Inside, large windows bring in forest views while maintaining your privacy. The main room features two comfy chairs, a kitchenette with glasses, cups, plates, a mini fridge, microwave, and a coffee maker for cozy mornings. The “outhouse” is eco-friendly—a composting toilet located on the front deck. On the back deck, you can relax to the sound of a trickling spring, or enjoy the heated outdoor shower (available March–November; rates are discounted 20% during the off-season). For indoor washing, a five-gallon glass pitcher with a bowl serves as a rustic sink. Sleeping is in the loft, up a steep staircase ladder, with a queen bed and lush linens. While not ADA-accessible and not suited for those needing special assistance, the setup is perfect for adventurous, able-bodied guests seeking a unique stay. There are two other homes on the property, both occupied, but everyone respects each other’s privacy. No one will come to the treehouse during your stay. The owners live onsite in the main house and are available if you need anything, but will otherwise give you complete space. The path to the treehouse is lit at night, but it can get very dark on the road—so bring a flashlight just in case. Message us through the app if you need help. It was very peaceful at Helga's cabin. It's just a sweet, simple space to be quiet and enjoy some alone time with my dog. It was such a treat to be able to talk with Helga in the yard. I wish it had been warmer to sit on the porch and enjoy my coffee. Bad timing in weather (it was 20 degrees!), I would have loved to sit on the porch to drink my coffee. I also would have loved to have more time to chat with Helga. Hopefully there will be a next time!

We loved it! The cabin is cozy and cute! Plenty of hiking onsite and friendly dogs/cats to keep you company! Helga was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed. She gave great local recommendations and even had fire wood ready for us on arrival! This was great because it had rained the day prior and we had dry wood! The hiking on her property is beautiful. The campsite was very nice, with great personal touches and everything we needed during our stay. There were strings of lights hung throughout the main camp area, which was great for getting around at night. The large tent had everything one might need, from cookware and utensils, blankets, seating, as well as a bed AND a fan for cooling off. The entire setting was very pretty and relaxing, with the tent on a deck perched over large rocks with thoughtful mulched pathways throughout. It was a very nice place and our hosts were very easy to get in contact with, making sure we had a great time. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great campsite with extra perks.

We found this place online and we are so glad we did! A short girls trip with daughters and their kids, this location made us feel like we were secluded, yet safe. Miss Judy had so many extra touches and a cozy atmosphere. We also got a visit from their peacocks in the morning! We would definitely stay again. Great site and great hosts!

This place is just magical. So much history and if you want to know the story, just ask Keith! Who, btw, is an incredible human who will make you feel comfortable and completely at home, but also away from it. Amenities, there is not a kitchen, but there is a mini fridge and a microwave. There aren’t any cooking implements, or dishes, but there is a propane grill, hibachi (charcoal), and HUGE firepit, and if you need some cookware, Keith can hook you up (not to blow up his spot). The bed is super comfortable, don’t try lighting a fire unless the flu in the fireplace is wide open(ask us how we know), the shower gets hot, two ac units keep it super comfortable, and there’s a spider we named “ole’ 4 legs” (she has 8 legs, we just called her that for short) that builds a web on the porch each evening that is magical to watch. Other than it being perfect, it’s even more perfect when it rains. The front porch is the perfect vantage point for the mist relaxing time you’ve EVER had listening to the rain. Ok, I’m going to stop before I give away too much of the secret and we can never book it again. That being said, it’s terrible and you’ll hate it. Stay away. 😜 jk it’s amazing. Thank you, Keith!

This is a wonderful place for a family getaway. The large rocks on which the yurt is set make the location truly spectacular. I highly recommend purchasing firewood to enjoy making s’mores together. My five-year-old daughter loved visiting the dogs on the property, as well as the chickens, peacocks, roosters, and goats. In the evening, the lights surrounding the yurt create a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere.
