This cozy creekside lot is perfect for your next outdoor camping adventure—just bring your own RV, travel trailer, pop-up, or other RVIA-certified camper.
Most of the photos were taken in January, but in spring, summer, and fall this lovely shaded campsite feels secluded and serene, while still offering all the comforts of home.
The site includes creekside posts for hanging a hammock and a fireside hanging-chair post. It is located near the pool, bathhouse, laundry facilities, and a small playground.
The lot is located in a gated campground with many amenities, including two seasonal pools, a coin-operated laundromat, a game room, an exercise facility, and a seasonal restaurant.
You are also welcome to book this lot through the campground’s main office, but my Hipcamp listing is cheaper.
Other things to note
Pets are welcome. However, please be aware there is a $10 non-refundable pet fee, paid upon check-in through the campground office, to cover the cost of the pet waste stations throughout the park. This fee is charged by the campground and is not included in the rental price paid through Hipcamp. Please let me know if you plan to bring any pets, and I will share the campground’s pet policy information.

We are close to many of the wonderful things to do in East TN, less than 2 hrs from Knoxville, Gatlinburg and Chattanooga. Within an hour from the Tail of the dragon for motorsport enthusiasts. Less than 30 min from Tellico River, Ocoee River and Hiawassee River. So many trails and outdoor activities that you can't help but find something to keep yourself busy if you so choose. This was a great spot for us. We spent 5 nights here and the campground was quiet and shaded with plenty of trees. They have trash pick up each day at your site, which is super handy. Full hookups and a large laundry room and nice clean shower houses. It is located not far from everything. We drove just down the street to the community center, parked our car for free and took the free shuttle into the hub of  Gatlinburg. Don’t need to deal with the traffic or the parking. Also a short drive to Grotto Falls. Highly recommend! You need to stop by Sugarlands visiting center to get a parking pass and definitely pick up a trail map! They are $1 (map) but was super helpful. We did see a black bear walk by the camper next to ours! Didn’t see any on the trails though. Our visit was mid October. The strip is super busy on the weekends in October!

Deidre’s place was incredible, and I highly recommend it! The location is perfect, right along the stream and it was the perfect combination of outdoors and luxury! My kids loved splashing in the stream, the hot tub, and had a magical night with a campfire surrounded by fireflies. The dome is beautifully decorated and had everything we could have needed! Husband and I have been doing a lot of primitive camping lately and this blew our minds! Definitely not what you'd expect, even at a traditional campground. Oh, and a 20 min ride to Gatlinburg.
