This site is convenient to the city of Chattanooga, Cleveland, and also outdoor activities associated with the Hiawasee River, Ocoee River, and Cherokee National Forest. There is room and hookups for two RV's at this location however I will only allow two RV's if they are from the same party. Please contact me for details and special pricing if this is needed. Learn more about this land: I recently acquired this property that has been in my family for over 100 years and my original home place until around 1980. My wife and I initially made this site for our own RV use, but we want to share it for others to enjoy and also to help finance our constant improvements. The original house that I grew up in is still located on the property but is currently uninhabitable (for now). My fondest memories of the property are of playing and catching crawdads in the creek that located on the property when I was a kid and riding horses and flying kites in the fields. I am working hard to restore this property to the way I remember it and trying to make it enjoyable for those that come to visit. A majority of the property is still being used as a hay field during the summer months and two to three times a year the hay is usually harvested.

It's like having your own private summer camp! The unfurnished cabin is dry and clean. A huge upgrade from a tent (feel free to pitch your tents if you like)! We are a horseback riding stables located 2.5 miles outside the crown jewel of the Tennessee State Park System, Fall Creek Falls State Park. We offer a 2.5 mile guided trail ride, short-term boarding, and a petting zoo. There is a bathhouse on site which also houses a game room and laundry facilities. We will be updating our site pictures soon. Although short-term boarding is offered, we unfortunately are not able to allow personal horses on our trails.

1 night at The Falls at Sewanee Creek

We only stayed one night at the tent but loved every minute! Grant called before we arrived to give us directions to the site so we would be prepared when we arrived in the dark. Everything was easy to find, just as he said. The trampoline was more comfortable than we expected! Bring extra towels in case of condensation. The area under the trampoline was perfect for food prep and hanging out. Above all, the waterfall was BEAUTIFUL! The short “hike” from the tent to the falls was easy for us and our German Shepherd to navigate. We had a wonderful time- can’t wait to return!

Loved our time at Solace Farm! A very peaceful property with a wonderful agricultural operation going on. You can tell the family pours their hearts into what they do! We booked a "Junior Farm Tour" and enjoyed our time walking around the farm with the kids as we learned about the animals, gardens, etc. The Meadow Site has a great sunset view - secluded and peaceful!

We loved our time at Campsite on the Caney. It is very centrally located -- 15 minutes from town, 30 minutes to an hour to over a dozen state parks & waterfalls to the West, North, & South. Smokey Mountains 2.5-3 hours to the east. Chattanooga 1.5 hours south. We were out from sunrise to sunset for 6 days straight and barely scratched the surface. We had some cold fall days and weren't able to take advantage of the kayaks but the site was gorgeous and wish we had a couple more days just to hang out at the site. Other than a couple cars a day passing by, we never saw anyone the entire 6 days. Our dogs loved it. The host was very hospitable and responsive. I would recommend this site to anyone especially if you have pets and enjoy privacy.

This space was absolutely perfect for hosting my friends and I for tent camping! The ability to put food in their fridge was big help. The site is close to beautiful waterfall hiking trails (less than 10 minutes away from trailheads) so we didn't have to go far to enjoy nature. The port-a-potty/shower facilities are nothing fancy but available and for a night, were perfectly sufficient. Would recommend and utilize again!

Weekend Trip to Quail Run Farm

This was my first ever Hipcamp experience so I don't really know how it compares. I'll say it was easy to find, a comfortable spot, and I met someone the day we left at their store and she was very friendly. They were very hands off and allowed us to just show up and go do our thing. As others have stated, you definitely notice the trains. Trains seem to be a love or hate sort of a thing. Very beautiful piece of land though and great facilities. We tent camped with the kids and a dog.
