6 nights at Hammock’Sway Private Off Grid Camp

If you're seeking off grid camping and do not require any frills then this might be the spot for you. Chris was very responsive with the booking and provided supportive directions. If bathing in the river, 100 foot whispering pines, and camp fires by night rocks your world, then you might want to book a weekend. If you want to see the stars of the cosmos brilliantly without light pollution then your in for a treat. You better pack your mosquito spray though, those critters are vicious in the open fields. I never broke out the can at my campsite, it just was not required. Happy Camping!

3 nights at South Suckcreek Campground

We had a blast camping in our converted Skoolie but wish we knew that having four wheel drive / off road ability wouldve been ideal to get up the gravel hill road to access the sites. We made it happen tho and loved the caves. Super cool. Thanks Billy!

It was fun to go tent camping here! There seemed to have been some left over things from other previous campers but nothing that was bothersome. The road up to the campsites was a little rugged but with AWD we made it through.

Weekend Trip to Campsite on the Caney

Loved Campsite on the Caney! We had plenty of room for us and our 3 kids and my parents, a nice fire pit, the swings were a nice addition to have at a campsite and the ambiance of the river was so relaxing! We stayed 3 nights and visited Fall Creek Falls, Lost Creek Falls and rented a boat on Center Hill Lake. Fall Creek Falls and Lost Creek are less than 20 minutes away from the campsite! There is also stores less than 20 minutes away just in case you forgot anything! Would highly recommend Campsite on the Caney to anyone!

Weekend Trip to The Bolo Club

I loved the tent camping on Philip’s land. Philip was great and very attentive. He would come check on us to see if we needed anything. Lucky for us he had keeps firewood and ice stocked. We had a great camping spot right on the creek. We definitely plan to go back.

It is such a quaint space. I highly recommend it. It was charming, clean, and as a solo traveler, I felt very safe. It’s was very easy to access and the farm animals were a delight!

Weekend Trip to Forest Pocket near Chattanooga

This site worked great for our purposes which was just a place to lay down in our little tent as we passed through Chattanooga on a road trip. However, the site was kind of difficult to find. (We did come in late at night, though) A sign or something indicating where it was would have been helpful regardless! Overall I recommend if you can handle some city noises. Great spot to lay your head for the price, once you find it.

We loved tiny home #1! Quail Run Farm was so beautiful and the view of Lookout mountain is amazing. It was a sort drive to Rock City, Ruby Falls and downtown Chattanooga. Everyone on the farm was so helpful. I’d also recommend shopping the farms market! Everything we bought from them was delicious.

This was one of my best memories with the Grandkids and I wish we would have stayed another day of two. Jana was most accommodating in every way and gave the kids a taste of farm living. We will be back with the younger grandkids when they get old enough to enjoy the mini horses and donkeys! 🥰

We have stayed at Campsite on the Caney for two years in a row now on our rv travels from the Uk. It’s a fantastic site on a beautiful stretch of the river. Cameron is an excellent host, ensuring everything is ready for you before you arrive. Water, electric, sewer and wifi. Kayaks there to go out on the water in, BBQ grill and fire pit, picnic table, swinging seat. We visited in May/June and the fireflies in the evening were beautiful. Our children (and us!) thoroughly enjoy staying here and wouldn’t hesitate in booking again on our next visit over to the States

Our expansive 120-acre property provides campers with the freedom to choose their camping spots anywhere on the farm. Farm animals include horses, cattle, hogs, chickens, goats, bees, stocked ponds, gardens and much more. We have strategically placed signs throughout the property to help you identify potential neighbors. If you desire the company of ducks, consider setting up camp near our picturesque duck pond. For those who prefer the rustic crowing of roosters to a phone alarm, we have four chicken coops dispersed across the farm. Our horses freely roam the front pastures. The cows enjoy grazing on lush grass and taking refreshing dips in the ponds. They also relish watching the sunset from the hill's vantage point, as it offers the best view on the farm. We are a working farm with staff tending to various jobs throughout the day. We have a map to show some of the popular locations campers have enjoyed in the past, but it is first come first serve. We intentionally leave some of our fields uncut. In some fields, the grass can come up above the knees. If you are picky with the grass, these are pastures on a farm and we do not cut them. We leave that to the animals to take care of. All of our staff are super friendly and happy to help guide you to the best camping spot and answer any questions. In searching for your campsite please note that there may be livestock in and around certain areas as we rotate pastures. Please respect farm rules and do not camp in a pasture with cattle and do not enter any gated area without speaking to someone on the farm who knows which fields the cattle is in. Potable well water can be located from the blue spigot outside of the staff housing area, in between the orange and green tiny home, and outside the outdoor shower. Fire rings and chopped wood are ready for you to borrow and return by the outdoor shower area. Our outdoor shower is located by the yurts. If you are interested in a more posh experience, we have yurts and tiny homes for rent Embracing farm life is not just an adventure but also a valuable learning opportunity, whether you're a family or an individual seeking a taste of the countryside lifestyle.
