This place was beautiful. We loved the paddle boats! Pros: Parking at the cabin Self check in with code Clean & comfy Responsive host Heater kept us warm Coffee & cooking utensils included Faucet, sink, & soap in the cabin Firewood provided Dog friendly Easy check out Only one con: We were not told that the attached shower room was shared by the entire campground (there are tent/rv sites around the pond), so we left our things in there. One of the friendly campers brought our stuff to us. Also the shower never got hot, FYI, but the little heater in there was great. We so enjoyed our stay and wish it could have been longer.

Cute and Relaxing Place to Stay

My boyfriend and I loved staying at this cabin site. The pond across the way was very beautiful. It was raining a lot during our stay here so we didn’t get to try the boats, but they look like fun! The accommodations like the shower attached to the cabin, cooking utensils, and coffee machine were all very nice. Thank you Randy!

Peaceful Pondside Escape

This campsite was a peaceful gem tucked around a quiet pond, offering a great sense of privacy with only a few neighboring sites. The gravel pad was flat and dry, making setup easy and comfortable. Having firewood available was super convenient—though it was a bit damp from being stored under a tarp, it still saved the hassle of bringing our own. The outhouse was impressively clean, but the door could use a little adjustment since it only opened a quarter turn. The host Randy was responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which made everything run smoothly. The real highlight was the fishing! The pond was full of life, and I caught a massive 20" largemouth bass—definitely a memorable moment. I released it so someone else can enjoy the thrill too. Whether you're here to relax, fish, or just enjoy a quiet night under the stars, this site delivers. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a laid-back, nature-filled escape.

Gorgeous getaway

Loved staying at Randy’s spot! The location is beautiful, especially in the fall. The trees are gorgeous this time of year. I did some fishing in the lake on property, with plenty of success, which is always a plus. The peddle boats were such much fun to use! Sites included bathrooms and plenty of firewood, which made the experience even more enjoyable! Randy was super responsive about any questions I had. Overall, I had an amazing time, I and the property was everything I could have wanted for a nice getaway. Will be back soon!

We had a wonderful stay! The property is so beautiful with the fall leaves and the owner had updated the outhouse with a foot pump sink which was great for washing our hands after fishing!

Randy is a sweet man, with a slice of heaven! The property is nothing short of breath taking. Truly, the view was something of a movie or a Bob Ross paining! Facilities were clean and even fire wood was provided. 11/10 for "The Ole Place" and Randy!

Absolutely loved this Hipcamp! We tent camped at this spot & didn’t have any issues! The property was gorgeous, VERY peaceful and relaxing! Shower room was very nice and appreciated the cleanliness. Trash can is on site, firewood, fire pit and pic nic table. Our site also had water and electricity. What else could you need ?!? :)

Entire Property

This was the best camping trip I think we ever have had! This place had everything we could want. It was so beautiful and we actually got to have peace and escape from everything!! We rented the entire property and family came in from Indiana and was just an absolute wonderful place to gather and make memories. We definitely want to come back again. Thank you for sharing this beautiful piece of paradise with us. 😊

Great host. Responsive to messages. Firewood provided and the outhouse was very clean for being out in the woods. Paddleboats are a nice feature, and the kids were able to catch some fish which was cool. This is no fault on the property or host at all, but we booked this trip as a last-minute much needed getaway and our neighbors at the next campsite arrived after dark, loudly set up with bright flood lights and kids screaming. They woke us up before 7am with chopping wood and every loud noise imaginable. Again, not the properties' fault, but the campsites are close enough to hear a lot and depending on your neighbor may not be quiet. I did not reach out to the host because no rules were broken, they just were inconsiderate neighbors. Randy was amazing. We would go back again, just might rent both campsites for some more privacy because it is such a beautiful property!

We had a great time the site was beautiful! My kids loved the pond and the peddle boats! They are young girls (5-7) so they didn't like all the bugs running around (eye roll it's camping lol) (not anymore bugs then your normal tent camping site actually maybe less then normal) so we end up only staying the first night and left evening of the second. The wife and I will definitely be back soon without the kids for at least a night away!

Beautiful little spot hidden away right next to a pond. Had electrical hookup for our RV, a nice shower, an outhouse for bathroom use and firewood for the fire pit. Also had paddle boats to use for the pond. Would definitely book again when in the area!

Perfect place! Randy has a peaceful spot if you’re ready to escape to nature. Two RV hookups and several tent sites in addition to a cabin. Clean shower, clean everything. Lots of firewood, trash cans, and a huge pond. Randy has made everything easy. We loved it and will be back.

We had the most relaxing trip this weekend. The site was amazing, with a gorgeous view of the pond. It was very peaceful. We enjoyed the paddle boats and will bring our fishing poles next time. Can't wait to come back again!

The family and I had a wonderful time at Randy's tent site. Definitely a hidden gem, and worth a visit. Plenty of firewood available, clean out house, and the boats were very fun to go around the pond. Absolutely beautiful property, and a very clean campsite. I would highly recommend anyone to take a visit!

Our first Hipcamp trip! What a wonderful place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It was so peaceful and beautiful, we fell asleep to the sounds of bullfrogs and crickets and woke to the sounds of birds and the wind. There was an entire family of deer across the pond playing not even caring that we were there. We caught so many bluegills and a couple of bass, wonderful place to waste the day away fishing! We'll definitely be back! ❤️

Everything here amazing. Big trash can, a LOT of precut firewood. Randy was a great host. There were pedal boats that we could use around the lake. It was extremely peaceful with lots of beautiful deer around the campground. Fishing was alright, I caught two little bass on a swim bait, but that was it. I definitely recommend coming!

Perfect getaway

Absolutely perfect, secluded, with the minimum you might need, but all the necessities you might want. The cabin is super cute and cozy. AC and fans work great on a hottest day, beds are comfortable, all the utensils (spatulas, pots and pans, grill stuff- everything!) Fantastic spot: the pond, the woods, the boats, the campfire … Perfect is the only word needed. PS. Bring plenty of drinking water and a large cooler full of ice :)
