Weekend Trip to Peaceful Haven Cabin

We loved it! The cabin is cozy and cute! Plenty of hiking onsite and friendly dogs/cats to keep you company! Helga was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed. She gave great local recommendations and even had fire wood ready for us on arrival! This was great because it had rained the day prior and we had dry wood! The hiking on her property is beautiful. Plenty of rock formations and views. Thank you for a great stay!

Weekend Trip to Beech Hollow Hideout

This was a camping trip I'll never forget. William was such a kind and hospitable man, his property was nothing short of breathtaking. This place was a great escape from 9-5 city life and I can't wait to return. Don't ignore other reviews about how steep the small trek up to the shack is! It's a short walk but very steep and uneven/rocky ground. Make sure you wear good shoes/boots! Rocket and Bo 🐕 we're the sweetest dogs and great company when they weren't busy chasing squirrels. I very much enjoyed the hike along an old logging road on Will's land, about 1.5 miles and took me less than an hour at a slow pace, saw deer tracks and the deer that left them about half-way through. It was such a beautiful and peaceful hike; I wish I looped back around to make longer! There were no mosquitoes or ticks to be seen but be prepared for lots of Chinese lady beetles (look like lady bugs but are very invasive and annoying!) And stink bugs, if you come in the fall or spring. The shack had bedding, an amazing wood stove, cooking/art supplies, books and much more. Again, Will was so gracious and hospital. He checked in on me by msg in the mornings, showed me around his woodworking studio and informed me about his property and animals. His artwork is truly something else, the man is a real artist and beautiful soul. I bought a cutting board and Will picked me some greens from his garden before I left. I would highly recommend staying here and can't wait to return myself!

A charming little cabin on a beautiful property! I stayed here with my three dogs, and they loved having the space to roam freely. The cabin was cozy and comfortable, and the modern bathroom was a nice touch. Both the main room and the bathroom have their own window unit. I’ve never done Hipcamp before so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it was absolutely serene and the perfect reset. Our only regret is not staying more than one night to fully unplug. BB is a well ran and organized KOA campground. Very quiet - yet enough amenities for the kids to play without "disturbing" other campers. The grounds keepers are Johnny on the spot with ice, firewood, trash pick up, and any requests. We will be returning next year. Do yourself a favor - bring your own toilet paper, fishing bait / small hooks. Best showers I have used in TN at a campground.

Weekend Trip to The Home Place

We had a great time at Hawk's Nest. It was so peaceful and private. We packed a lot of our camping gear, just in case, but barely need to take anything out of the car. Our dogs loved running around and exploring. The bedroom was comfortable and we stayed warm even though the nights were chilly. The location is perfect for hiking. We were able to make it to both Burgess Falls and Rock Island. We hope to make it back and stay longer next time.

We had such a great experience camping at Valhalla! Jodie was an awesome host—she responded quickly to all my questions and made everything super easy. The campsite itself was beautiful and spacious, perfect for our big group of friends. There was plenty of firewood to keep the fire going all night, a grill to use, and even a bathroom with running water, which was a huge bonus. Everyone had a fantastic time and we’d definitely love to come back!
