The trail is 76.2 miles of waterfalls, rivers, and mountains stretching from Oconee State Park to Table Rock State Park. As soon as the oldest child moved out of his room above the garage, we started hosting thru-hikers hostel-style. Fair warning: it’s an “open concept” bathroom, true studio style. This unique farmhouse style home is a great choice for travelers and an excellent venue for gatherings by local residents. It has easy access but the property has abundant trees and is secluded from nearby roads and homes for privacy. The interior, baths, and kitchen are updated but maintain a pleasant farmhouse feel. The host had it perfectly clean and well stocked. It has a bonfire pit and a smaller fire pit for outside gatherings and the hot tub was immaculately clean, heated, and ready for use when we arrived. Kids can enjoy swings and slides. We used it for a small gathering where about a dozen guests gathered during the day and six spent the night. Could not have been happier with property or hosts.
Fireworks are legal and permitted within reasonable hours. Horses are welcome.

The trail is 76.2 miles of waterfalls, rivers, and mountains stretching from Oconee State Park to Table Rock State Park. As soon as the oldest child moved out of his room above the garage, we started hosting thru-hikers hostel-style. Fair warning: it’s an “open concept” bathroom, true studio style. This unique farmhouse style home is a great choice for travelers and an excellent venue for gatherings by local residents. It has easy access but the property has abundant trees and is secluded from nearby roads and homes for privacy. The interior, baths, and kitchen are updated but maintain a pleasant farmhouse feel. The host had it perfectly clean and well stocked. It has a bonfire pit and a smaller fire pit for outside gatherings and the hot tub was immaculately clean, heated, and ready for use when we arrived. Kids can enjoy swings and slides. We used it for a small gathering where about a dozen guests gathered during the day and six spent the night. Could not have been happier with property or hosts.
Fireworks are legal and permitted within reasonable hours. Horses are welcome.

Weekend Trip to Soulshine Glamping
Absolutely loved our stay at the Moonshine Dome! From the moment we arrived, everything felt magical. The dome itself is stunning—beautifully designed with a cozy yet luxurious interior that makes you feel both comfortable and special. Every detail has clearly been thought through, from the stylish décor to the warm, inviting atmosphere.
The hot tub was a total highlight—perfect for relaxing under the sky and soaking in the peaceful surroundings. It truly elevated the whole glamping experience. Waking up in the dome was just as amazing, with gorgeous views and a calm, private setting that made it easy to fully unwind.
This is glamping at its absolute best: unique, romantic, relaxing, and unforgettable. If you’re looking for a special getaway with comfort, beauty, and a touch of magic, the Moonshine Dome is a must-stay. We can’t wait to come back!

I stayed in one of the MTG sites and it was great! The heater works very well in the winter and was super clean for me and my party. The views were great and the restrooms were clean. I’ve been here multiple times and always enjoy coming back. I would highly recommend this campground.

It is impossible to state how lovely this location and hosts are! Every accommodation and possible need was sumptiuously met. The room had a plush sense of comfort and a thoughtful design for utility. It is a perfect location for endless hiking and historical adventures, and the town of Pickens is adorable yet also full of every necessary type of shop or eatery. The property is impeccable and peaceful. The hosts clearly love their home, town and nature. They were deeply kind and were a wealth of information about area hikes and destinations!

The cozy cabin on wheels was the perfect spot for a Thanksgiving weekend camping trip with my son and dog. The cabinet itself was adorable and you could tell a lot of thought was put into the amenities. Even though it froze while we were there, we were snug as a bug in our little cabin. I loved that my dog could be off leash and play with the host’s dog and cat as well. Although the house was not far, we felt we had all the privacy we needed. Our host was just a message away from answering any questions we may have had and gave lots of local recommendations. We will definitely be back!

This dome was perfect! Moonshine is completely secluded, romantic & comfy-cozy. You really just need to bring clothes and the good you want to cook. Everything you could need is there. A lot of thought went into crafting this get away.

Amazing property, with thoughtful planned out campground. I love to sleep outside in the hammock and this was an extraordinary experience for my wife and daughter staying at Luna Glamping spot. Great showers, the spa spot is so ingeniously tucked away while having the freedom of enjoying a beautiful evening under the stars. Will definitely return.

The campground is well organized, clean, and has beautiful views. The only downside is if you are staying towards the back of the property the bathroom is a long walk away, but the scenery is so lovely we didn’t mind! Highly recommend!

Fantastic property and stay! The Sylvan Sport Go was ready when we arrived, in an excellent location next to the creek. The host, Beth, was responsive and made it a point to come by and meet the guests. Highly recommend!

I loved camping here there was this huge observation ridge and the tents had everything you’d need, plus the site had bundles of firewood available as add on or purchase on site. It was very cold when I went so I am glad they included a space heaters for the tents. I only wish I known where it was sooner. I brought my dog along as well for her first camping trip. Having everything available made it easier to look after her.

Was perfect blend of camping with peace and tranquility and convenience of firewood, clean porta potties, and showers. Our family enjoyed our spot. My wife and I were in glamping tent and my daughter and her husband kept in their EV in camping mode. So nice not to have to mess with pole tents for a change. Also, William is great host!! My only suggestion would be to cut 2 of the small trees at the site entrance. Very tight to get a vehicle in. All other sites looked more accessible.
