I moved here from Colorado just to live on a farm. My neighbor's family has owned much of the land around here since the Revolutionary War. My home is the site of their original homestead. They grow watermelons on their acreage surrounding my farm, while I am growing blueberries. The peace and serenity here is something to be experienced!

I first saw this property in 2009 and fell in love with it.  The property is gorgeous and the land has a magical feel.  Situated in the foothills of the Blueridge Mountains we are in horse and wine county!  The area is also part of the isothermal belt so the weather is always better than the rest of the South or the Mountains.  The land is about 1/2 pastures and the remainder are beautiful forests with trails, creeks and even our own waterfall.  The animals and equines living here make the place even more special.Learn more about this land:Tiny home cabin on 28 acre horse farm with creeks, woods, and incredible pasture views. Welcome to our cozy handcrafted tiny house. You can experience what off-grid living is like for a weekend or maybe a little bit longer. Located in the foothills of Western North Carolina.

Shower: Self efficiency is the main purpose of this tiny house. Rain water is collected and filtered for your hot showers,please keep your water use under 3 minutes.

Once you enter the Bathroom you will see our sawdust toilet.  Composting bags make this experience an easy affair.( See check- out list for further instructions.)

Mini Fridge : water bottles in fridge are for cooling Mass.
If you by any chance need to use it; not a
 problem. ..just replace what  you use.

Van Living!

I’m Jacob. A few years ago I converted a van into a camper. It was my daily-driver for a while but eventually decided my Matt Foley days were over and I retired the van in exchange for something more eco-friendly (but much less fun). The van sat around in between weekend camping trips that unfortunately became less and less frequent as time passed.A year ago I decided that the holy grail of swaggin’ wagons could no longer be kept a secret from humanity. You really think I would hide something as great as this van under a bushel?? The answer is NO!!Anyway... So then I decided to build a campsite in my backyard so that others could enjoy the van the same way I have. Well now, I have purchased some land and have begun to draft the dream spots. First, I started with a dome... reminds me of a hobbit home, but cooler! I am now remodeling a bus and hope to have that to you soon!
