The river sites are separated by a small patch of woods, so if you are looking for complete privacy, Hill Top or Hill Side is the place to go. PLEASE FOLLOW "ARRIVAL INSTRUCTIONS" as most GPS directions are not accurate. 30 minutes to Diamond Hill Mine, 15 minutes to The Shoals MX. There is a one mile hiking path around the property. Rosewood Farm and Agripark is my home. I honestly had about the most amazing childhood one could have on this very land! We hunted, fished, made mud pies and played outside for hours, as long as we were in shouting distance for supper time! I am so fortunate to be the daughter of two amazing parents, who had a dream to build a working farm from nothing more than a logging trail in the woods. They built a 3 story, 10,000 square foot house by themselves- while raising a family! We have 200 acres of farmland that features rolling hills, multiple ponds, creeks, farm animals, show horses and countless wildlife viewing opportunities. Wild turkey and deer roam free all over the farm, coveys of dove fly out from the pastures and trails, and coyotes howl in the night. Listen to the frogs croaking, crickets chirping and whipporwhills calling every evening under a magical blanket of stars. Take a nature hike through the trails that meander through the woods around the park. Our newest venture is to offer primitive camping and some cabin rentals around our 60 acre Agripark!
For those wanting to step it up a notch, we have erected a large concrete floor, covered event barn (for parties, family reunions, weddings, cowboy church, etc..,) and also a huge petting zoo barn with an area behind it for pony rides and 4-h/FFA functions. Also, a greenhouse is being erected next, that will teach people about aquaponics and hydroponics! Many things are on the immediate horizon for this special property. While we are under heavy construction at the moment in some areas of the park, many amenities are currently available. Why not unplug from the daily grind and spend time with those that matter most? My goal is to make this land as magical for your family as it has been for mine!

This private, fully fenced grassy site (100 m²) sits at the back of our ¾-acre block, facing a peaceful bushland reserve. Access is via a gated driveway behind our shed. There’s space to turn around, but you’ll need to reverse into the site. A separate parking area is available once unhooked.
The space suits one caravan or RV, with room for a small tent or swag. Maximum of five guests total.
Rates are for one couple; extra adults $15 pp / night, children $10 pp / night. Small pets may be accepted on request — we have free-ranging chickens and two mini dachshunds.
Guests must be fully self-contained and take all waste when leaving. Water, power, internet, a brazier, and firewood are included.
We’re 3 minutes from Godwin Beach, 7 minutes from Sandstone Point Hotel and the Oyster Shed, and 10 minutes to Bribie Island’s beaches, waterways, and 4WD tracks (permit required). Shops, fuel, and a dump point are within 5 km.

This is the second time going to Camp Clatworthy and it was just as serene as last time. Plenty of firewood on hand, a clean primitive site, and one heck of a view. Though I wasn't as successful as last time, Lake Legion is a perfect spot to bass fish. I recommend bringing a kayak or canoe and go explore it.

We booked the hillside campsite at the last minute as we were driving south and were so impressed with the property! It was quiet, secluded and perfect for our overland rig. There was even a clean and well built pit toilet close by. We explored all the other campsites by he river and were blown away! John has created the perfect family spot and thought of everything! Highly recommend!

Directions to the site were clear. I had a nice time solo camping. John was very friendly and delivered firewood right to the pit. The site was big and well kept. You cant get in the water from the Riverbank site, but there are a couple of boat ramps that you can use. I was the only one out camping so it was extra quiet and peaceful. On my last morning I discovered my truck battery was dead. Luckily I caught John in time before he left for work and he gave me a jump. Nice guy. I will be back.

Very private camping area which is exactly what I am looking for. Plenty of wood for the campfire which makes me want to return since that has been a problem at other places. Just have to be aware of the slight incline at the campsite which makes it interesting while trying to sleep but that is not a deterrent for me.

Weekend Trip to Serenity on the Saluda
Hideaway was the perfect little spot tucked away in the woods but close to the river! It borders a large field that was perfect for our pups zoomies! The outhouse was well maintained and stocked with simple toiletries. The campsite came with a fire pit as well. We loved Serenity on the Saluda and will be back!

I really enjoyed this spot by the river! The perfect amount of space for our tent, a campfire, a charcoal grill, and a small SUV. One site could easily fit 2 more tents and maybe 2-3 cars.
We absolutely loved being right on the river. Casted the fly rod most of the time, but I think it was too early in the season for trout. Still, my husband and I plan to come back!
The campsites are all spaced out nicely—2 are directly on the river: one behind where we stayed, and another to the right. You could easily have a bunch of friends and family all stay together if you booked them together.
Also, those 3 sites share a well-kept outhouse.
Fortunately, we were the only ones there at the time, so we got to explore the river’s edge and check out the other sites. Can’t wait to book again!
