The area to back your camper into is so nice. Very quiet place! They gave me some eggs straight from their chickens! That was so kind and so extra! They are amazing! Very friendly and welcoming! Cannot say enough good things about this place! One of the best I’ve stayed at!

Weekend Trip to Russell's Ranch RV Site

Amazing hosts, great location, easy access. Nice level spot with full hookup. There is no shortage of things to do in the area. We really enjoyed The Silos Brewery in Easley (6 minutes away) and a short drive (20 minutes) to downtown Greenville. We are already planning our return trip. Thank you Dave and family for a great, relaxing weekend! :)

Thank you Jason for sharing your slice of heaven with us this weekend. Black Bear Farm is absolutely beautiful and so perfectly peaceful. Just a few minutes from the amazing restaurants and shops that Travelers Rest has to offer, Jason greeted us upon our arrival and left us to explore his property and town. This Hip Camp is just a quick drive to downtown Greenville. We cannot wait to come back!

We loved camping on Mark’s land. It was very private and peaceful. We were able to relax by the creek and had everything we needed.

We had the whole camp to ourselves which was so nice. It was quiet and there was a fun creek for the kids to play in. Some of the bathrooms could use some more upkeep but other than that we had a great stay and Damon was very nice!

A great and easy stay. Very level gravel pad with full hook up. He even had extra parts for us if we needed them. Rockstar! Super friendly hosts, and we loved waking up to the Rooster. Plenty of space to park our 28 ft TH, our 1500 Chevy, and set up a sitting area. Thank you for the hospitality!

Weekend Trip to Pap's Glamp&Cabin on Lake Hartwell

This was a great place for a short getaway. We only needed food and things to cook with. The property was well maintained and user friendly. It was a needed relaxing weekend.

This was such a delightful place to stay, and we're already making plans to come back. The Creekhouse is the perfect blend of roughing it with access to basic amenities. My kids enjoyed playing in the creek and exploring the property, and I appreciated the quiet freedom to let them roam. Damon is a wonderful host, friendly and very responsive. When the temperature dropped suddenly, he made sure we had heaters and warm blankets for sleeping, and we stayed cozy. My favorite part was falling asleep to the sound of the creek directly below us.

I had a great overnight stay. They provided a gallon of spring water which was a nice touch. Next time I’m in the area I’ll definitely stay again. It’s only a 15 minute drive to downtown Greenville. Thanks

7 nights at Ted & Tracy's RV Campground

Very nice and quite, lovely creek to enjoy. Full hook up with 36ft camper. They do have a few long term campers. Owners were very easy to get a hold of with questions. Would stay again.

3 nights at Black Bear Farm

We had a very good stay at Jason's property. The sites are as described, and Jason is working on expanding his offerings there. We were able to have our dogs off leash, which was a huge plus for us. It's a 2 mile backroad bike ride to the Swamp Rabbit trailhead and easy access to all Travelers Rest has to offer. We would stay here again if in the area.

2 nights at The Cove at Paris Mountian

We loved our stay! It was a last minute reservation when we had challenges with another location we were staying at. While the spot is very close to the house, we still had a great sense of privacy. Dan lives in a nice quiet neighborhood very close to the entrance of Paris Mountain State Park. It is also very convenient for activities in Traveler’s Rest or downtown Greenville. We are relatively new to rving, and Dan came out and coached my husband on how to successfully back into the spot, which was greatly appreciated. Everything was as advertised and expected. We had a quiet, lovely stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Weekend Trip to South Fork River Cabin

This cabin is perfect! It's so remote and quiet with a great view. The host thought of everything, it was very comfortable. Definitely consider staying here if you need a relaxing, comfortable and quiet getaway!

If you see something you find offensive or inappropriate, please tuck it away and let us know. - You may eat and play on the whiskey barrel arcade game, however do not move, lean on, or hit the glass top. - If you are sensitive to political signs/flags (US, Confederate, or otherwise), this may not be the right listing for you. Although we do not post affiliations, some surrounding homes do. - Because this is a rural area, we recommend turning off any lights that are not directly in use, as bugs are very prevalent and attracted to light, especially at night. **If you are sensitive to insects (indoor and outdoor), this listing may not be the right fit.** - There is community area access, however it is not always maintained. For boating especially, we recommend the nearest Boat Launch at 499 Choestoea Rd, Westminster, SC, where there are docks, a public launch, and a sandy beach. - The inflatable hot tub can reach temperatures up to 104°F. Due to the nature of inflatable hot tubs, it will lose about 5°F per hour that the lid is off; weather conditions and use of the jets may expedite this cooling. Unlike a traditional hot tub, there are no seats inside. There are flower-shaped sponges in the hot tub, which help keep the water clean. **If you prefer to take these out while in the water, they must be placed back in when you exit. DO NOT throw these over the railing.** After use, please toss 2 sanitizer shock tablets into the water (located above the stove). We teach folks to grow food, raise ducks, chickens and rabbits and have many grow systems. Possible classes depending on our schedule are listed on www.flowingriverplace.com and are a 2 hr class ( many listed) in exchange for 2 hr volunteer with us on current project.. ( could be working in garden, building raised beds, harvesting, canning etc.) We have other long term rentals and are family friendly. We host church groups and 1/2 way houses for wood fired pizza , river time etc on some Sundays. Drug use or heavy drinking isnt tolerated here. We are located just 15 minutes from the southern quaintness of historical Abbeville. In under an hour you can visit the shopping and events around the growing city of beautiful Greenville, SC. Enjoy a short day trip to the Clemson University campus area and it's surrounding attractions. We are only 40 minutes from Denver Downs Farms where there are a lot of exciting festivals and events throughout the year. In just about 2 hours you can be in the Asheville area where you can enjoy and take in the local attractions and gorgeous mountain views. Another short jaunt into Georgia takes you to Hartwell and it's quaint southern atmosphere near Lake Hartwell. Additional short trips and you'll find more water, fishing, fun and sights on scenic Lake Russell and the Savannah River.
