The cabin was great for the most part. I have very little to complain about. The only thing I could say is that pots and pans need a little work and the spatulas are definitely horrible. If you’re planning on cooking, bring your own utensils and cookware.. Cabin itself was great and cozy. Just a very steep area to park so I recommend parking on the street side. I would definitely go to this cabin again, and the host was very great and informative the whole trip. If I had any questions or concerns, she got back to me very quickly.. I recommend coming to this cabin.

Weekend Trip to Creekside Cabin - Lake Hartwell

Overall, we had a great stay. The host was very communicative and helpful, and the cabin was comfortable with beautiful views and a very cozy bed. A few things caught us off guard. I had assumed the cabin was directly on Lake Hartwell, but it isn’t, and because the exact location isn’t shared beforehand, our drive ended up being nearly 5 hours instead of the 3–3½ we expected. That also made our kayaking plans difficult since we were too far from the rental companies we had planned to use. The host did try to help us find a solution, which we appreciated. My biggest suggestion would be improving the outdoor maintenance. Given the cleaning fee, I expected the deck to be free of spider webs and wasp nests. We removed a wasp nest ourselves so we could enjoy coffee on the balcony, and the outdoor cushions had been left out by a previous guest and were wet and dirty. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it. I do think the price is a bit high for the overall experience, but with a little more attention to the outdoor areas, it would be an excellent getaway.

Sitting in there with the curtains blowing the windows open the little fairy lights under the loft it was a level of relaxation i hadn’t experienced maybe never in my life before. This is one of the most beautiful spaces I have visited. The home was spacious, clean, and modern while still being cozy. Thoughtful amenities. The furniture was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the lounge chairs in the water while taking in the Sounds of Nature. We chose to visit the goats who ran up to us with the most innocent nature, they were adorable! The hammocks were so comfy .I left with more space in my heart than when I arrived.

Damon was a nice host that offered assistance when needed. I stayed in the Creek Campsite and it was a joy! The property is beautiful and he has a web that was nice to sit on and look at the stars. Easy to navigate in and out of the site (even with a little sedan). Only stayed for one night, but it just so happened to be a night full of music and a light show.

The cabin itself was great, with the hot tub, the Pac-Man, The grill, and all the thoughtful amenities provided (there were toothbrushes and the kitched had all necessary cookware!) We did not make use of the firepit (maybe next time!) but there was firewood on-site if one wanted to have a fire. The only caveat I would offer others, the spiral staircase to get to the main bedroom is very narrow, might be an issue if you have larger, heavy bags but there is sleeping space on the main floor.

Great little spot! Loved the setup! The kids enjoyed all the little trails, creek, and frog ponds. The best part was all the cats! So many sweet kitties! Friendly hosts, lots of room for activity, easy to get to.

We loved our stay at Damon's creekhouse! I've been a few times now and it's such a pleasant experience every time. The house is amazing, we could hear the water, frogs croaking and other nature sounds while laying in bed. 10/10!
