We stayed at RV wooded lot in Greenville, S.C. for 3 nights because it was close to a festival we were attending. The site was a gravel driveway perched on a ledge in a wooded area right off the road. It is located in a neighborhood in the hilly north area of Greenville. The woods were pretty with sunlight streaking through and there was a small valley below with a seasonal creek and waterfall which was not flowing at the time. There were trails leading up and down around the property. It was semi private with a house above the site and one visible across the valley. It was mostly quiet but there were some surrounding noises at times. There was a solo stove that we enjoyed burning fires in. My critique is that the entrance to the site was on a downhill slope with the gate at an angle so you had to back in up a hill through the gate that did not allow much room for error. It was challenging. Once you get into the site there is only about 5 ft. of space to set up beside the camper so we set up behind by the fire pit area. We had our 14 year old Black Labrador with us and there was not much room for her to do her business. There was also a camera mounted on the power pole so I put a koozie over it until we left. Also, Manly Dr. is narrow and hilly with some sharp turns so take it slow. The location is very close to downtown Greenville so that was convenient. I wanted to give an accurate viewpoint because other Hipcamps that we visited were somewhat misrepresented.
