This Property was purchased by Grandfather in the 70s and then was passed to my Mother. In 2013 I decided to live life differently and start from the ground up building with natural materials and found materials. At that time I was fortunate enough to have the land passed to me and I started building a home for myself and to be close to my mothers home nearby. Damon was a nice host that offered assistance when needed. I stayed in the Creek Campsite and it was a joy! The property is beautiful and he has a web that was nice to sit on and look at the stars. Easy to navigate in and out of the site (even with a little sedan). Only stayed for one night, but it just so happened to be a night full of music and a light show.

It is so tempting to keep this five star find to myself, but Jessie deserves all the praise for this adorable, safe, comfortable spot! With gorgeous sunrises over the pond and sweetly appointed digs comes friendly animals and a homestead vibe. She has thought of everything and it's all immaculately kept. You are centrally located to all of Augusta and Aiken (I grew up here, I know!) but you feel like you're in a remote woodsy location. We will be back!

We loved our trip. The hosts went above and beyond to have us have a comfortable stay. I have two toddlers, and it rained a majority of our trip, but would you believe that they set up a busy box for our toddlers so that they could have activities to do inside the camper?? So generous.
The bed was comfortable, the hot water was piping hot, the string lights were perfect. We really had no complaints. It was very quiet and relaxing! We had a great time. Highly recommend. We will be back!!!!

•There were a few little gnats/bugs in the bathroom but that didn’t bother us
•I had read about their spring-fed pond and the possibility for swimming and kayaking, sadly, their kayaks don’t exist anymore due to Helene and I don’t really recommend swimming in the pond—it was very muddy and warm (we tried) If there is some way they could make the pond nicer, it could be a big perk

The A-frame was perfect! Enough space to be able to relax in. Every morning, afternoon and evening, my dog and I would sit on the dock gazing out at the lake with Herons, Osprey, Geese, Ducks and Cormorants all flying past.
With the boat ramp right there, we would easily cast off on our SUP for the lake.
Jesse, his wife and kids were wonderful and so nice. Their place and land offered so much to do. My dog got to feel like a country dog, interacting with the chickens, running through the woods and snoozing by the fire pit.
This trip was exactly what I needed and desired. I loved every minute at Jesse's place.

This was such a delightful place to stay, and we're already making plans to come back. The Creekhouse is the perfect blend of roughing it with access to basic amenities. My kids enjoyed playing in the creek and exploring the property, and I appreciated the quiet freedom to let them roam. Damon is a wonderful host, friendly and very responsive. When the temperature dropped suddenly, he made sure we had heaters and warm blankets for sleeping, and we stayed cozy. My favorite part was falling asleep to the sound of the creek directly below us.
